The radio person this morning on Mix 101.5 (which I was flipping through, and missed the first part of the discussion) said that the "Our State" campaign is incredibly offensive to UNC, since they are the "University of North Carolina" and clearly their response is forthcoming to rectify the situation.

I think we should use "welcome to the jungle" againIt would be very effective if used correctly and if consistently used, could become integral part of Wolfpack "brand"

much Bray, Rogers, Hunter love by Bleacher Report:http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1232225-picking-the-preseason-all-sec-teamfor those of you new to college football, Bleacher Report has been around since the 1800s and its pretty much considered THE (capitalization intended) the final word in college football, a lot of other sites (Phil Steele, Athlon, Beckett, Leonard's Losers, etc.) basically steal their info and analysis from BR
6/25/2012 4:44:49 PM
wrong thread
6/25/2012 5:03:54 PM
na, until there is a game day thread all info about future opponents for 2012 goes in here
6/25/2012 5:10:51 PM
there's a college football 2012 thread
6/25/2012 5:13:44 PM
yeah, but who wants to dig through that for info relevant specifically to State's season? that's silly. I mean, I care as much as the next guy on who will be the starting fullback at Idaho, but its not going into a State thread.

6/25/2012 5:19:41 PM
yeah, limp bizkit is awezome
6/25/2012 5:23:07 PM
Suggestion for this years intro.Everyone starts jumping up and down yelling ohhhhhhhhh. Then louder like OHHHHHHHHHH. THEN RIGHT BEFORE EVERYONE EXPECTS POWER PACK HAVE ALL THE PLAYERS RUN TO THE GOALPOST AND SIMULTANEOUSLY PULL OUT A CELL PHONE LIKE JOE HORN DID ON THE SAINTS. THEN HAVE THEM SPRINT BACK TO THE SIDELINES WITH THE PHONE UP TO HELMET EAR AS THE SPEAKERS BLARE THE SONG "Call me, maybe"
6/25/2012 5:26:53 PM

6/27/2012 4:24:35 PM
Brosius considering transferring.
6/27/2012 5:05:26 PM
haha, so who would that leave us with at QB after Glennon?Taylor not on the team anymore and Pete Thomas is sitting out for transfer reasons.
6/27/2012 5:23:27 PM
Pete Thomas will have two years of eligibility after Glennon leaves. If Brosius leaves, Manny Stocker will be Pete's only backup, so far.
6/27/2012 5:49:07 PM
I mean for this upcoming season. Glennon and Stocker? That it?
6/27/2012 6:03:24 PM
oh, yeah. i think so. unless there's a walk-on i'm unaware of.edit: wait, didn't we have 2 or 3 local QBs join as "preferred walk-ons" in the last couple years?[Edited on June 27, 2012 at 6:11 PM. Reason : ]
