You can buy a subaru from the 90's with a blown HG all day for 1000$. Might have to get your hands dirty for a weekend to get it running right.....

This story is way too cool:

http://autoweek.com/article/car-life/la-ferrari-joins-its-supercar-family

Quote :
"Hunt, along with his two children and a handful of lucky friends, drove his four Ferrari supercars from London down to Maranello to personally pick up his newest Ferrari -- the LaFerrari, of course -- and drive the now-five-car collection back to London.

In case your memory is fuzzy, those four other Ferraris would be the 288 GTO, F40, F50 and former king of the hill Enzo."

London to Maranello... how fucking awesome is that??!!!

I am thinking some of you diehard BMW fans should pick up this 1997 E36 M3 with a 5.6 litre V12 from the 850 CSi with just 20,000 miles... for $221,000

Damn, new Mercedes C Class looks to be a world beater. 200 lbs lighter than it's predecessor, gorgeous interior and exterior, and 2 new engines.

Quote :
"The C has some of the crispest, most rewarding steering in the class. Anyone who came away disappointed by the electronic power-assisted helm in the BMW 3 Series would do well to try this setup."

Quote :
"This isn't just best-in-class stuff – this is one of the nicest luxury car interiors you're likely to find, full stop. It bests everything currently on offer in the entire Mercedes-Benz portfolio short of the S-Class, and offers a more premium, luxurious experience than a vast majority of more expensive offerings from German rivals.."

And the AMG model is going to have the new AMG sports car's 4.0 twin turbo V8

I'd go to 35 for that car... That's it... But it's been on my mind for three days now straight..

These are my thoughts if that motor gets 31mpg hwy in the mustang than in a transverse awd focus 29 seems appropriate.

Dear Kia soul, start packing your shit I found a fun econobox to replace you.

You can option out an st to 30k (granted you need dumbass stripes all over the car to do it) so teg your attention is probably lost

Ps here is more

And you can option out a WRX to $36k, which is more than an STI. Just like (on a more extreme example) you can option out a 911 to more than a GT3. Plus let's not forget you can buy a Focus ST all day long for thousands under MSRP.

Still, I'm no fool and realize it'll probably cost $30k+

Fiesta ST
Sonic RS

I've ridden in a 1.4 turbo sonic sedan (and subsequently a cruze with 1.4T), and it's pretty 'neat' for what collectively is a 'low cost shitter' per the garage. I'm sure with the factory 'upgrades' the RS would be even sweeter - different gear set on the 6M trans, lower ride height, and rear disc brakes.

Now what has my attention with the fiesta is the 15-sec overboost programming that lets it it 197hp. VTAK?

I would 100% rock a black Sonic RS or Fiesta ST

Teg... This thing is going to beat up on the sti... It will cost about that much is my guess.

Rumors have been "it's going to cost 45k" but I think someone saw the price goal in euros and converted it.

2.3 is about the perfect combo of bore/stroke for a good small turbo engine not too big not too small.

And with it being in the mustang too there will be parts everywhere for cheap I'm guessing.

come on man, I'm pretty sure that "updated' info was published after my reply! Either way I'll be very surprised if it has more than 330 hp. Of course my stance has always been the more the merrier!

Anything really to knock the STI down a peg or two (can you say, overpriced?)
