3/15/2008 4:29:37 AM
I don't plan that far ahead.
3/15/2008 4:30:35 AM

3/15/2008 7:51:35 PM

3/15/2008 7:53:19 PM
yeh why not.5/6 members of my immediate family are ncsu alumni and we don't mind.
3/15/2008 7:55:32 PM
i have principles
3/15/2008 7:56:21 PM
although in your defense, no one wore duke blue when the engineering student at duke was killed. slash no one even cared about him at all. [Edited on March 15, 2008 at 7:57 PM. Reason : .]

3/15/2008 7:57:50 PM
3/15/2008 7:59:12 PM
yeah, and we've barely heard shit about the Auburn chick who died the same day
3/15/2008 7:59:22 PM
^^ what does that mean???and ^ yea, but she was in auburn and from GA so i guess it prob got more coverage there. for a student (arguably equally as promising...PHD in engineering) at a school in the same geographical area, you'd think he should have gotten some coverage too. i mean, homeboy WAS carrying around his cellphone for over a month. i mean, come on media.
3/15/2008 8:01:08 PM
I agree about the local coverage, but I work for a national media corporation and can safely say that (on a national level) the attention on Eve Carson has been tenfold that of Lauren Burk.
3/15/2008 8:05:39 PM
is it safe to go outside yet?
3/15/2008 8:43:04 PM
it will be safe to go outside when the natalee holloway case is over.
3/16/2008 4:43:52 AM
They're bascially going to get lynched, from the evidence I have seen they have most likely murdered her (I'm okay with the Death Penalty as long as everyone charged with first degree murder get's it, which never happens). Despite that most people think its innocent till proven guilty its clearly not for crimes ranging as simple as a traffic stop to murder. Even if they didn't plan it (1st degee).. NC has the felony murder rule (death for it). Do you know the people who make up juries, its horrible (there is a reason why they don't like college students, college grads, or advanced degrees to be on juries). They deserve a fair, unbiased trial before they get executed (which I think there should be no delay in, but the rule of law must continue.[Edited on March 16, 2008 at 5:32 AM. 3/16/2008 5:30:40 AM
^ you realize the younger one (who also prob killed the duke student) is not going to get the death penalty due to age, right?
3/16/2008 6:47:36 AM
17 is clearly old enough to still be tried as an adult.
3/16/2008 10:14:36 AM
id rather them stay in jail and get buttfucked for the rest of their natural lives.
3/16/2008 10:39:07 AM
^^ he is getting tried as an adult; age just bars him from being able to rec the death penalty

someone logged into myspace to remove his girlfriend from top friends or something.she was the first person on there. or maybe she deleted her page.
3/16/2008 10:59:58 AM
Maybe people could form a fund and pay an inmate to stab them in prison.
3/16/2008 11:00:39 AM
that'd be a great way to end up in prison yourself. for the same TERRIBLE crime. rednecks

3/17/2008 2:02:57 AM
^^ I doubt that Eve Carson was a Crip.Probably just random violence.
3/17/2008 2:07:20 AM
What are the gang colors?
3/17/2008 7:44:44 AM
So riddle me this. Why haven't we worn red for the NIU shootings, or navy blue for the Duke murder, or orange and blue for the Auburn murder? Didn't we wear orange and maroon for the VT shootings, too?Eh, red we do all the time, but still.[Edited on March 17, 2008 at 10:07 AM. Reason : a]

It's because of proximity and our connection with the school. As an institution, we have a much greater connection to UNC-CH than we do to those other schools. I personally do not see a point in wearing their color, but if it makes people feel better and that they are somehow making a difference it's not going to bother me.[Edited on March 17, 2008 at 10:30 AM. remembering her and supporting those affected by this tragedy is what is important. You guys can always manage to argue about something.
3/17/2008 10:43:12 AM
i agree to the fact that it is a tragedy...but whatever sadness i do feel just becomes anger with them people
3/17/2008 10:45:56 AM
The gang colors were red.
3/17/2008 11:44:42 AM
why didn't anybody start a "wear blue" day for the Duke kid who was murdered? Nobody cared that he died but I guess that's his fault for not being a pretty white girl
3/17/2008 3:43:32 PM
^yupbut if a white person dies in whatever country Abhijit Mahato is from, they probably don't care too much either
3/17/2008 3:46:12 PM
on second thought it's not fair to say it's only because of his race. he also wasn't student body prez or anythingI guess popular people's lives are more valuable
