^^I figured I'd have trouble finding the "free" items at HT, but I'll go anyways. Something is better than nothing.Besides, there's about 4 HT within a 5 mile radius of my house

1/2/2009 11:30:47 AM
^^How many did it let you print? Me-just one. Bricks will normally print two... My boyfriend likes the gross B and J and I like one he doesn't....I guess we will just have to compromise!
1/2/2009 12:58:32 PM
it let me print 2i waited until one had printed...closed the window and clicked the link again
1/2/2009 1:13:11 PM
^^^YAY FREE ICE CREAM It let me print 2 by just hitting the Back button a couple times.I hit HT on my lunch hour and found everything I wanted to get except the Frank's Hot Sauce and the Lipton Recipe Secrets. There was one of the Lipton's left on the shelf, and I needed 2 for the coupon to work.Still, my total pre-Q was $71.xx and post-Q was $19.xx [Edited on January 2, 2009 at 2:07 PM. Reason : .]

1/2/2009 3:29:53 PM

1/2/2009 4:34:55 PM
ok, so i went to CVS earlier today and just looked at my receipt and it has my pharmacy ECB on it ($4.50!!) and a photo coupon and a coupon for like $2 off Tums. Last quarter when coupons were printed, I got a coupon for free CVS-brand antacid pills. I guess CVS thinks I have really bad stomach problems...or did you all get the same things?
1/2/2009 5:12:29 PM
Yea, I'm curious what time I can get a Sunday paper as well. When do they get delivered to the gas stations, around 3am?[Edited on January 2, 2009 at 6:54 PM. Reason : .]

1/2/2009 8:12:58 PM
^^I hope you are not getting up at 3 am...!!!^I am going to get some tomorrow Thanks for the heads up!
1/3/2009 12:11:19 AM
I printed two of those B&J coupons and I posted the link on Slickdeals. Within like 2hrs the link was dead, LOL. My bad....And no, I'm not getting up at 3am. But I am probably getting up at 7am. I'll clip the coupons from the paper I get delivered, and then go out and get another one. Depending on what's there, I may go to HT that early and do another coupon run. But I plan to go to CVS for a few of tomorrow's sales items tonight since they start the sales early.[Edited on January 3, 2009 at 1:30 PM. Reason : .]

thumper asked about reusable shopping bags. I exchanged xmas presents from my family today. Among them were two chico bags. According to the hangtags, they're nylon bags, and can carry 20lbs. They have a little sack on the inside, and a carabiner. They truly are easy to stuff in the little carry sack. The website says they're polyester, and carry 25lbs. Since my sister's chorus was selling these as a fundraiser, that could explain the difference. At any rate, these are so awesome. Mom said if we can guarantee a quantity, she can probably get the booster club president to place another fundraising order. $5/bag, no shipping. 50% of the cost stays at the booster club.Gonna post this elsewhere, because I can think of a few users who would be interested, but don't coupon.
1/3/2009 10:05:26 PM
^I'll take 2, possibly 3. If ordering through you, do I get to pick which colors I want? Those look great!!!
1/3/2009 10:11:29 PM
Yes, you can.
1/3/2009 10:21:42 PM
I'd love two of those
1/3/2009 10:22:14 PM
wewt!Don't know yet what the minimum quantity is going to be to make another order. My sister did sound like they were planning to repeat this fundraiser, so if TWW can't constitute their own order, I'll let yall know when they do it again. And if they don't, I'm looking at doing this for my frat. They've got a screening option, and so I've emailed the president to put on the to-do list. It might have the 'Without us, you'd be naked' screen (college of textiles).[Edited on January 3, 2009 at 10:31 PM. Reason : details, details, details]

Can you not order a few of them through that website? I guess I could go click the link and check myself....
1/3/2009 11:14:24 PM
You could
1/3/2009 11:30:55 PM
Looks like I can order a few of them on my own. What's so special about ordering them through the fundraiser? Aside from the free shipping and benefiting the group who is doing the fundraiser?[Edited on January 4, 2009 at 12:16 AM. Reason : .]
1/4/2009 12:15:49 AM
That's it.I was putting it out there. Should it happen that they are doing a second fundraiser of these, I'll let folks know; if what you all want is enough to constitute the minimum, whatever that may be, I'm willing to coordinate. Not a big deal either way, but you did come to mind [Edited on January 4, 2009 at 12:20 AM. Reason : ldjkf]
1/4/2009 12:18:36 AM
Well keep me posted. If I don't have to wait a month to get a couple of these, then I'd be happy to contribute to the fundraiser.

I hit the jackpot today on my favorite recycling bin and got 4 sets of complete inserts....20 inserts! So, if anyone runs across a coupon they need extra of, let me know via pm and I will see what I can do.
1/4/2009 1:37:29 PM

$120 for $68used $25 GCso $43 out of pocketjust emailed HT corporate and told them that the U-Scan lady never mentioned the 20 coupon limit and that 12 of my coupons didn't triple and then when I called back to ask about their return policy, the lady at Customer Service was very rude to me. they're sending me a check for the additional $19 I would have saved and an additional $10 in store coupon.so really, it'll only be $24 out of pocket with $10 to use next time they have triples
1/4/2009 2:14:46 PM
the 20 coupon limit is clearly stated in the ad.
1/4/2009 2:17:19 PM
i don't read adsi read TWW

do u happen to have a scanner?if not can u post what u bought? i need a dudes perspective to coupons cause i hate using them...i almost feel guilty like "man i'm such a jew" or "this is what women do" when i'm shopping...somethings i'll literally put a few coupons back in my pocket and be like "man i dont want these things i'll just get these other things?

Ben and Jerry's ice cream is 2/$6 this week at Walgreens (as well as food lion)so you can use your $3 Ben and Jerry's printables for free ice cream
1/4/2009 3:40:53 PM
can you use 2 coupons in the same transaction?
1/4/2009 3:50:02 PM
the issue is that all i had to do was buy the first 20 items, put that shit in my car, come back in with another VIC card and buy the other items. had I been informed that there was a limit by the chick who handled my coupons, this is obviously what i would have done. the fact that she didnt' mention the 20 coupon limit, rather just scanned them as normal and didn't tell me that they were only "singled." that's the problem.then when i called to ask if i could return everything, have them ring up half, let me leave, come back, ring in the other half and we'd be good -- the bitch was rude to meof course HT corporate will compensate me_____________________________________besides, the whole point of "slickdealing" is to find loopholes and price mistakes and ways around paying full price. shouldn't you be applauding me instead of talking shit? do you get on slickdeals.net everytime there's an awesome deal and call them out for being unethical?[Edited on January 4, 2009 at 3:53 PM. trust me...one dude (out of the thousands of HT shoppers) taking advantage of the system is not going to lead to them discontinuing triple coupon promotionsanother thing -- was it OK for the lady, whose job is to help out customers when they have a problem, to be completely rude to me when I called and explained my problem? what would you have done if you were in my shoes and you honestly didn't know that they only allowed up to 20 triples when every other day of the year they allow unlimited doubles? i didn't see the fine print and the U-Scan chick didn't explain it to me. would you not try to get your money back?[Edited on January 4, 2009 at 4:06 PM. Wow. I see some people in this thread who are pointing an awful lot of fingers...Speaking of cheating the system...

ncstatetke, it is solely your responsibility to know the rules for the promotions in which you are partking. If you want to be babysat in every aspect of your life, get a head injury and become a vegetable; otherwise, start acting like an adult.
