Porter...he's been on fire lately

in the past 5 weeks he's had 2 incredible games (123 yards and 2 tds against TEN, 142 yards and 1 td against WAS)...the other 3 have been solid, but I refuse to put him on the bench because of those 2 weeks...I have him ahead of Reggie Wayne now

but this week Wayne>Porter because IND is playing TEN...

who to start this week:

Brunell vs. St. Louis
Simms vs. Saints

or pick up Ryan Fitzpatrick (since it looks like he might start) vs. Redskins

i say Brunell based on the fact that St. Louis has the worst defense in the NFL

^yeah, so look for Portis to have at least 2 TD's and over 100 yards.

Brunell will probably have around 240 yards and a TD or 2.

^I disagree. I'd say Warner because he should get more TD's. Brunell has only 3 TD's the last 5 weeks. Warner has 7TD's the last 4 weeks.

Now,
Plummer or Green against each other?

The snake has been great, but hasn't been needed for much recently. KC is much better at stopping the run though than the pass & will certainly focus on the run. Green hasn't been the same this year, but is doing alot better & Devner figures to focus on LJ.

Warner has the better WR core and has a good match-up, so go with him.

^Yikes, tough choice there, I think it'll be a ground game but I wouldn't be suprised if KC played from behind so I'd actually say Green.

which RBs to start this week?

I have:

Rudi Johnson
Stephen Davis
Thomas Jones
Jamal Lewis
Fred Taylor, Greg Jones

I'm pretty sure I'll be starting Johnson, but I having trouble figuring out the 2nd RB. I won't start Taylor obviously. After that, I'd guess between Davis, T. Jones, and Lewis.

quick Q:

Why is Kevin Curtis slated to do so poorly on Yahoo Sports? I have him in two different leagues, he's projected to earn less than 5 points in both leagues. Is there something I need to know?

^Yeah, Bulger and Martin are out, so the third stringer is in and though he did well last week, they don't expect as much from his this week.

Who should I start at RB? ( The more important question is who will actually play due to their injury )

Corey Dillon (vs NYJ) or
Tatum Bell (@ KC)

^^^^^I would also go with Thomas Jones, but don't sleep on Jamal Lewis...he had a HUGE game last week and may be back in top form after his prison term

Who to start as my second RB?
Mewelde Moore @ Detroit
Sam Gado @ Chicago
DeShaun Foster vs Atlanta
Antowain Smith vs Tampa Bay

Im leaning toward Moore...not sure what Gado will do against Chicago, I played him two weeks ago and got nothing out of him, benched him last week and he had another great game.

I'd have to go with Moore, especially if you get points for return yards in your league

Gado is playing the bears...look what they did to the panthers running game a few weeks ago, he'd pretty much be my last option right now

I'm pretty sure who I'm gonna use, but figure I'll get another point of view
PICK 3 AT WR - 0 points per reception, 1 point per 20 receiveing/return yards, 6 pts per TD, -2 pts per fumble

Donald Driver vs. Bears
Bobby Engram vs. Eagles
Antonio Bryant vs. Jags
Jimmy Smith vs. Browns
Eddie Drummond (returner/receiver) vs. Vikings

For those of you in need of a RB...Arrington is getting the start for Arizona this week...he might have a good game and prove to be a great pickup for those who aren't RB heavy

well... bryant and smith are playing each other, so you're guaranteed one of them will be losing at all times, so maybe bryant would be a better choice

Pick 1
Portis @ STL
LJ vs Denver

Portis has a much better match-up, but he never gets TD. And LJ is playing a tough opponent but has 4 straight 100-yard games and if they are going to win they'll need him to have a good game so I expect a heavy dose of LJ.

assuming receiving yards and rushing yards both get 1 point per yard, right?

otherwise its a no-brainer.

either way, rb's (even in a commmitee) are going to see more touches than a TE.

you can go out on a limb, but Mike Anderson is my choice.

With Dayne and Bell being in the mix, MA's touches could be limited

Damnit.

I'm up 15 points, but my opponent still has Shaun Alexander left to play tonight...and he's only been held to under 15 twice this season.

Oh well, I still have my division locked up. Losing this one just means the two of us are tied for the overall #1 in the league.

^^haha im in the exact opposite situation in a different league. i'm down 15 and all i have left is shaun alexander.

but i think my scoring is different because shaun has only gotten more than 15 6 times in my league.

I'm up 40 against the #3 team with Alexander still left & him have Josh Brown & Hasselback. I think I feel pretty secure that I will lock up the top seed with this weeks performance, thanks to the Bears & Rudi Johnson.

Once again.....i hoped you listened tp the guru and played Mike Anderson instead of C. Cooley.

Anderson had about 120 combined and 2 TD's

Was right on that account.

Good call though I expected Warner to have another TD and one less INT, his 350+ yards helped.

Another good call, Green had 20 less yards passing but 1 more TD.

Well, half right, if you went Foster you had a monster pick, if you went Moore..well tough luck.
