I AM ............THE FANTASY GURU!THREE WINS IN ALL THREE FOOTBALL LEAGUES!(NOT TO MENTION #1 in FANTASY BASKETBALL BY 20 FUCKING POINTS!!!)

Yea but your user name is still named after a Thundercats character so that pretty much means you lose..

Hines Ward @ Home vs a good Bengels secondaryor a Streaky but Huge upside Jerry Porter against a weak Chargers secondary @ SD?discuss........
11/30/2005 10:42:47 AM
Porter...he's been on fire latelyin the past 5 weeks he's had 2 incredible games (123 yards and 2 tds against TEN, 142 yards and 1 td against WAS)...the other 3 have been solid, but I refuse to put him on the bench because of those 2 weeks...I have him ahead of Reggie Wayne nowbut this week Wayne>Porter because IND is playing TEN...[Edited on November 30, 2005 at 11:20 AM. who to start this week:Brunell vs. St. LouisSimms vs. Saintsor pick up Ryan Fitzpatrick (since it looks like he might start) vs. Redskins
11/30/2005 11:56:48 AM
go with simms, the saints will not be able to stop the passing game
11/30/2005 7:47:41 PM
i say Brunell based on the fact that St. Louis has the worst defense in the NFL[Edited on December 2, 2005 at 12:51 PM. Reason : and Santana Moss is unstoppable right now]
12/2/2005 12:51:25 PM
^yeah, so look for Portis to have at least 2 TD's and over 100 yards.Brunell will probably have around 240 yards and a TD or 2.
12/2/2005 12:54:45 PM
yep
12/2/2005 1:05:09 PM
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes....but Brunellor Warner @ San Fran.??
12/2/2005 1:09:51 PM
Brunellno question
12/2/2005 1:15:13 PM
^I disagree. I'd say Warner because he should get more TD's. Brunell has only 3 TD's the last 5 weeks. Warner has 7TD's the last 4 weeks. Now, Plummer or Green against each other? The snake has been great, but hasn't been needed for much recently. KC is much better at stopping the run though than the pass & will certainly focus on the run. Green hasn't been the same this year, but is doing alot better & Devner figures to focus on LJ.[Edited on December 2, 2005 at 1:19 PM. Reason : ]
12/2/2005 1:16:12 PM
Warner has the better WR core and has a good match-up, so go with him.^Yikes, tough choice there, I think it'll be a ground game but I wouldn't be suprised if KC played from behind so I'd actually say Green.
12/2/2005 1:48:13 PM
hahaha Devner
12/2/2005 1:53:35 PM
which RBs to start this week?I have:Rudi JohnsonStephen DavisThomas JonesJamal LewisFred Taylor, Greg JonesI'm pretty sure I'll be starting Johnson, but I having trouble figuring out the 2nd RB. I won't start Taylor obviously. After that, I'd guess between Davis, T. Jones, and Lewis.
12/2/2005 4:58:43 PM
Thomas Jones
12/2/2005 5:06:14 PM
quick Q:Why is Kevin Curtis slated to do so poorly on Yahoo Sports? I have him in two different leagues, he's projected to earn less than 5 points in both leagues. Is there something I need to know?
12/2/2005 5:30:49 PM
^Yeah, Bulger and Martin are out, so the third stringer is in and though he did well last week, they don't expect as much from his this week.
12/2/2005 6:48:17 PM
Who should I start at RB? ( The more important question is who will actually play due to their injury )Corey Dillon (vs NYJ) orTatum Bell (@ KC)
12/2/2005 7:37:25 PM
^Bell...Dillon hardly ever gets carries^^^^^I would also go with Thomas Jones, but don't sleep on Jamal Lewis...he had a HUGE game last week and may be back in top form after his prison term
12/3/2005 12:25:06 AM
Who to start as my second RB?Mewelde Moore @ DetroitSam Gado @ ChicagoDeShaun Foster vs AtlantaAntowain Smith vs Tampa BayIm leaning toward Moore...not sure what Gado will do against Chicago, I played him two weeks ago and got nothing out of him, benched him last week and he had another great game.
12/3/2005 9:58:17 AM
Moore or Foster ^
12/3/2005 11:18:57 AM
I'd have to go with Moore, especially if you get points for return yards in your leagueGado is playing the bears...look what they did to the panthers running game a few weeks ago, he'd pretty much be my last option right now
12/3/2005 11:19:10 AM
I'm pretty sure who I'm gonna use, but figure I'll get another point of viewPICK 3 AT WR - 0 points per reception, 1 point per 20 receiveing/return yards, 6 pts per TD, -2 pts per fumbleDonald Driver vs. BearsBobby Engram vs. EaglesAntonio Bryant vs. JagsJimmy Smith vs. BrownsEddie Drummond (returner/receiver) vs. Vikings
12/3/2005 11:23:11 AM
EngramBryantSmithwho should i playGalloway vs NOor Housh vs PITT
12/3/2005 4:09:44 PM
^Galloway
12/3/2005 4:10:38 PM
galloway hands down
12/3/2005 4:10:47 PM
I need to pick 3 of the following:Deion Branch (vs. NYJ)T.J. Houshmandzadeh (at Pit)Donte' Stallworth (vs. TB)Andre Johnson (at Bal)
12/3/2005 4:30:10 PM
the top 3
12/3/2005 4:35:51 PM
Housh vs PitT.Glenn vs NYG?
12/3/2005 6:08:00 PM
GlennFor those of you in need of a RB...Arrington is getting the start for Arizona this week...he might have a good game and prove to be a great pickup for those who aren't RB heavy
12/3/2005 10:40:08 PM
12/4/2005 6:09:07 AM
Pick 1Portis @ STLLJ vs DenverPortis has a much better match-up, but he never gets TD. And LJ is playing a tough opponent but has 4 straight 100-yard games and if they are going to win they'll need him to have a good game so I expect a heavy dose of LJ.[Edited on December 4, 2005 at 12:08 PM. Reason : .]
12/4/2005 12:07:53 PM
favre or fitzpatrick? i'm leaning toward fitz, but favre is 6-1 at chi... fitz plays washington in stl.
12/4/2005 12:17:57 PM
ahahahhahaha.....I SAID HOUSH.........I HOPE YOU LISTENED!- TEH GURU
12/4/2005 2:13:57 PM
yeah i played Housh actually, lolreal quick, M. Anderson vs KCorC. Cooley vs StL
12/4/2005 2:57:56 PM
assuming receiving yards and rushing yards both get 1 point per yard, right?otherwise its a no-brainer.either way, rb's (even in a commmitee) are going to see more touches than a TE.you can go out on a limb, but Mike Anderson is my choice.
12/4/2005 3:02:08 PM
well im just worried because Tatum Bell is backWith Dayne and Bell being in the mix, MA's touches could be limited[Edited on December 4, 2005 at 3:07 PM. Reason : very limited]
12/4/2005 3:05:53 PM
my receivers are crushing (smith, galloway, wayne and boldin later today), but i went with mcnair over roethlisberger when i read that big ben had a protective device on his glove...that one hurts
12/4/2005 3:15:56 PM
Damnit.I'm up 15 points, but my opponent still has Shaun Alexander left to play tonight...and he's only been held to under 15 twice this season. Oh well, I still have my division locked up. Losing this one just means the two of us are tied for the overall #1 in the league.
12/5/2005 12:52:00 PM
i have secured the #1 spot in mine
12/5/2005 3:00:45 PM
^^haha im in the exact opposite situation in a different league. i'm down 15 and all i have left is shaun alexander. but i think my scoring is different because shaun has only gotten more than 15 6 times in my league.
12/5/2005 3:33:49 PM
I'm up 40 against the #3 team with Alexander still left & him have Josh Brown & Hasselback. I think I feel pretty secure that I will lock up the top seed with this weeks performance, thanks to the Bears & Rudi Johnson.[Edited on December 5, 2005 at 3:42 PM. Reason : ]
12/5/2005 3:41:41 PM
unless Hasselbeck gets hurt
12/5/2005 3:43:00 PM
Once again.....i hoped you listened tp the guru and played Mike Anderson instead of C. Cooley.Anderson had about 120 combined and 2 TD's- The Guru.Oh yeah...and here are my league stats.I was in second (on this chart) but will take over #1 after tonight.*1. oh believe me i played M. Anderson
12/5/2005 4:44:43 PM
If I had started Anderson over LaMont Jordan, I'd basically have a guaranteed win right now.
