i know

really, i like a LOT of stuff
sometimes i like a spicy scent, and sometimes a deep floral, and sometimes fruity...oh, choices

i do know that i don't like musks or vanilla scents.

sephora.com has a guide to picking out scents by notes/types if you want to check there. They also have 923709732490 perfumes in the store with testers usually available.

just make sure to have some coffee beans on hand to cleanse your palate when testing perfumes. (Something my mom learned when shopping for perfumes last Christmas).

My perfume (except the bottle has green stripes going around it. I can never find it online, and I think it smells different than these, idk.) <3 my fav.

My coworker has car air fresheners in his desk drawer that reek of sweet tarts... wonder if those would make me smell good, or just break out.

Oh, and if you happen to like woodsy scents with citrus mixed in, this is awesome: http://usa.lush.com/cgi-bin/lushdb/107?expand=Fragrance:upd=y

I'm not a fan of patchouli and earthy scents but my friends who like that sort of thing love Karma.

Kenzo Flower

I'm liking it, but it's $80 for 1.7oz

nothing at sephora really caught my fancy.

SCORE!

fragrancenet.com has it for $53, and I get 15% off that.

i got this from sephora, after looking through their perfumes by category

its a clean/fresh laundry-ish smell, but a little sweet/flowery - its awesome

and this stuff really does smell like fresh cut grass

"Does anyone have experience with a company that makes really good facial moisturizers? I've been using Lush's Imperialis moisturizer for a while, but I've noticed that they have cocoa butter in it and it's clogging my pores a bit. I've tried some stuff from The Body Shop but the Tea Tree stuff is too drying and the others I've tried were too heavy."

i use this :

it definately helps with keeping my skin less oily

also, ive been using this tinted moisturizer from aveda, that i bought like a year ago and didnt like at the time, but its pretty great

and this lip gloss from bobbi brown is really awesome, its kinda thick though so you dont need to use much and it looks great on. i have the pink and red in the first picture and love them. the clear is pretty great too

and i think i may have to get the pink on the far right in this pic

^ooh i have a friend that works at aveda at the four seasons mall in greensboro. i might need to ask her about that tinted moisturizer. and bobbi brown lipglosses are quite great. a suitemate from my junior year worked and still works at bobbi brown and she gave each girl in the suite one of those small lipglosses for christmas. the color was great. sorta reminds me of that red. it was sort of a sheer berry color for me.

it may have been the cherry tint.

my mom has bobbi and i steal that when im home

pretty much, for facial cleansers and whatnot, i go for origins
as far as makeup, aveda. but recently i went to sephora and got some sephora brand makeup and i like it alot

I guess I should try Origins. I've tried Philosophy before and wasn't that impressed with their stuff. I'm definitely in need of a better moisturizer, though I'm probably going to go ahead and use up my Body Shop stuff first.

are the ribbons and grapes on the cake some sort of plastic decoration or just well crafted icing? I couldn't imagine how difficult it would be to serve those without a caterer doing it for you completely.

The ribbons are icing and/or fondant (the thick sugar they roll out and use to create that smooth outer look of the cake.

omg, rjrgrl, i'm loving every single dress you posted, including the cocktail ones. never heard of melissa sweet before, i LOVE the fitted wedding dresses that flare out at the knee (esp the very first dress).

the colorful cakes are really cute, with all the patterns/designs. me gusta.
