Rode my bike a few laps around the booty loop in Charlotte and then ran a lap. I need to start doing that on a regular basis before my triathlon.

Tonight I'm going to do an Athletic Conditioning class and then lift weights.

ya'll make me feel better.

july 2009 to last weekend.

a gain of about 8 lbs

and no im not poking my stomach out in the first pic


i did heavy weightlifting throughout the winter and put on a good amount of fat with the muscle. (like a solid 15 lbs-ish muscle and fat)
i've spent the last few months cutting i guess. insanity workouts have been my friend.
right now i'm really trying to tweak my diet and although i cheat way more than i'd like to i'm still seeing a little progress.

I'm working on it, and I'm proud of where I am. Up top I lost ten pounds (and learned our home scale is whack!) so I'm happy. I'm just not there yet. So if anything you have motivated me to work harder

I can't afford a gym, so I've been doing home or outdoor exercises (biking, running, sit ups, push ups mainly) and zumba. Luckily years of dance has kept my legs strong which have only been getting better, so I'm mainly focused on my core and arms. I've been thinking about stepping it up and getting some weights.

you def look more muscular in a strong way, not a bulky way

pretty sure to get my tummy to look like that i'd have to drop 20lbs. i need to weigh train. instead i like to train for stupid long cardio events which are fun but dont make me stronger

i am worried about this

being basically laid up on the couch, and having friends bring massive meals multiple times per day...

i had just gotten to a weight i was happy with too

right now i'm hovering around 140-145
i never get below 140.
i was trying desperately to do so for about 3 weeks and occasionally i would hit 136 but it was all water weight, so i've given up on that.

My goal weight is 145... or I just want to be 29 inches in the waist and 34 in the tummy/hip area.

^ Good point. It's really the measurements that are important. 145 can look so different on so many people, depending on where your weight is distributed.

lol. i was not happy in the first photo. for my own reasons (mostly weight related).
and i am much happier this summer than i was last (for lots of other reasons too)

^4 According to the BMI scale, for my height my "ideal weight" is 130-135. My endocrinologist told me not to dare get that low... I would look emaciated (because of the boobies - they are literally the last place I will lose weight). At 145, I should look thin.
