5/5/2011 10:08:33 AM
these last two pages have brought the lols, keep it up!
5/5/2011 10:14:36 AM
The cheating shock is foolish. 50% of all married people have at least one affair. It may "suck" but its the norm.
5/5/2011 10:27:50 AM
Just because it's the norm doesn't mean it's right..
5/5/2011 10:29:00 AM
didn;t say it was right - but it is how the real world works. everybody cheats. Also - the whole jerking off in the panties thing seems fake.
5/5/2011 10:32:27 AM
"And yet, according to the Journal of Couple and Relationship Therapy, approximately 50 percent married women and 60 percent of married men will have an extramarital affair at some time in their marriage. And since it is unlikely that the people having affairs are married to each other in every case, the current statistics on the percentage of married couples who cheat on each other means that someone is having an affair in nearly 80 percent of marriages."[Edited on May 5, 2011 at 10:33 AM. 5/5/2011 10:34:54 AM
not everyonebut most do
5/5/2011 10:35:43 AM
over half the population cheats. your have a 50 / 50 chance your man will cheat on you.Not saying its right - but when you work 8 to 10 hours under high stress - office bwning happens.
5/5/2011 10:36:35 AM
fuck that. if i was married to someone and i found out he cheated, i'd drop his ass like a bad habit.** disclaimer: if we had kids that would complicate things though :-/
5/5/2011 10:38:06 AM
^ ditto. And current conversations is making me like this thread less...MOAR CONFESSIONS!!!!Send me one
5/5/2011 10:38:55 AM

5/5/2011 11:01:44 AM
cheating is not a black and white issue.
5/5/2011 11:03:24 AM
Yes, I support forgiveness but I hate watching a woman stay in a bad relationship because she is "forgiving". Trust is the #1 thing in a relationship. Without it what do you have?

I hate that i don't know the backstory to that
5/5/2011 12:21:41 PM
ummmmm I agree with sam 100% (and there was a whole thread on this at some point)If you love someone enough to vow to spend the rest of your life with them, then you should love and respect them enough to end the marriage before cheating. If you are unsatisfied, find yourself considering straying (not fantasizing, but actually thinking of how and when to do it), then your marriage is probably over anyway. Be fair to the other person and just end it.
5/5/2011 12:37:23 PM
^^

Well then what's the fucking point? You can reproduce without getting married (hell you can reproduce without a man period). You can sleep with multiple partners and it's socially acceptable. Women can get great jobs and make great money now, so we don't need a man to be the bread winner. So why the fuck get married if you don't intend on placing a value on spending your life one person and only one person? You can have everything else you could possibly want outside of marriage.....so why do it? Because you WANT to make that ultimate sacrifice. You WANT to pledge yourself, through thick and thin, through sickness and health, and all other vows to be with that one person and only that one person. Not because you HAVE to. And, if after 10 years of marriage I, or my husband, no longer feel that way, then the "marriage" is probably over. I know I could probably forgive a cheat. But I also know I could never forget it. And as much as I would want to trust that person again, I don't think I ever could. So as much as I may try, the relationship would fester and eventually end anyways. But I also realize not everyone thinks like me. Thankfully, my fiance agrees with me on these aspects and we have an agreement that if either of us ever does get to that point, we will talk to the other and at least give them the option to opt out. It's only fair in our eyes. To each their own.
