Frasier decommits from FSU.

I like how he says he's done with recruiting sites, as if he's a big subscriber and is gonna cancel is subscription.
12/20/2014 9:38:27 PM
hughes says he's down to 2 schools (didn't say which 2...but the 3 were state, unc, florida). and will announce monday at 11 AM
12/21/2014 12:35:35 AM
^Rumors that he's down to UF and NCSU.
12/21/2014 9:08:25 AM
If that's the case, I kinda like our chances...only because UF just hired a new coach. I imagine Hughes hasn't had much chance to really connect with UF's new coach. And they don't even have an entire staff, right? Maybe i'm just being optimistic and hopeful, but that seems like an uncertain situation to commit to at this point. But we'll have to see
12/21/2014 9:46:41 AM
can we at least teach these guys the difference between to/two/too?
12/21/2014 10:31:35 AM
and a part/apart
12/21/2014 11:06:33 AM
And the University goes at the end of nc state
12/21/2014 11:18:49 AM
So that Fraiser decommitting news...according to Pack Pride and The Wolfpacker, he's still committed to FSU. But some PP posters are cracking me up over this.

I'm a little scared about Roseboro leaving
12/21/2014 4:10:50 PM
i'm pretty sure Roseboro has already signed as he is supposedly enrolling for the spring semester. even if not, I would be shocked if he flipped since he has helped recruit several others to State. maybe we could end up with Rocky if Frasier goes elsewhere? haven't heard anything about that yet, though. on a somewhat related note (as in commits tweeting about other guys that we don't really seem to be publicly "in" with right now), McGirt tweeted this yesterday about DL Jalen Cousar out of Charlotte, who got a lot of playing time in the Shrine Bowl yesterday and looked pretty good. I think they said he had verbaled to South Carolina State during the broadcast though
12/21/2014 4:18:15 PM
Most fanbases wouldnt have to worry about such things, but we are who we are...and there is an extensive NC State shit thread to prove it
12/21/2014 4:29:18 PM
I don't know about Roseboro...but I'm fairly certain Hines, McGirt, and Huhges (obviously he hasn't committed yet) are planning on enrolling early. So that would 1) help their development for the fall and 2) keep them from decommitting.
12/21/2014 4:30:48 PM
I haven't heard that about McGirt or Hines. Last I heard Gallaspy, Roseboro, Phillips, McCoy, Nicholson and JSW were the guys expected to enroll early... maybe some of the specialists too. Hughes is supposed to be an early enrollee wherever he goes, IIRC.Actually, Hines mentioned graduating in June in that WRAL story I posted, so I highly doubt he will enroll early.[Edited on December 21, 2014 at 4:41 PM. Reason : a]
12/21/2014 4:40:49 PM
^ok you might be right...i thought i had heard that hines announcing this early was so that he could enroll. but i might wrong
12/21/2014 5:25:30 PM
Roseboro is trying to get that Vol commit to flip
12/21/2014 5:34:31 PM
Muh Vol?!
12/21/2014 5:38:22 PM
Think some of our guys are trying to recruit Sly Tuttle. I don't expect him to make the change, but glad our guys are actively recruiting.
12/21/2014 8:25:43 PM
^ that would be awesome, but I think Tuttle is supposed to be enrolling at Tennessee in January. Between that and our # of scholarships remaining, it would be a big (but welcome) surprise. In addition to Hughes, unrated New Bern LB Sha'mond Squires is announcing tomorrow. He has an offer for a preferred walk-on spot from both us and at UNC (not sure if he has any scholarship offers). Has a pic of himself in a State jersey as his Twitter header, for whatever that's worth. New Bern center Duncan Musselwhite already accepted a preferred walk-on spot, so we could have a bunch of kids from there next year with Taylor and Cherry already on our roster.
12/21/2014 11:37:56 PM
if rumors are true ab tuttle i would rather we left him alone. kid getting caught/let go for a dui in high school will likely continue to be an idiot.
12/21/2014 11:39:28 PM
Where did you hear that? I know Tuttle's family and I've talked to him a few times. He's a really good kid.
12/21/2014 11:54:28 PM
^yeah, i hadn't heard about that. a quick google led me to his twitter page
12/22/2014 9:27:21 AM
Read online that larry fedora and ryan switzer sold a child cock pics cocaine lased deworming agent.I don't believe it though.
12/22/2014 9:47:43 AM
big, if true
12/22/2014 10:25:11 AM
hughes to unc
12/22/2014 11:09:47 AM
oh well
12/22/2014 11:10:38 AM
sad trombone
12/22/2014 11:10:50 AM
i'm surprised... people on PP who usually know what they're talking about seemed very confident
12/22/2014 11:16:35 AM
Has UNC even hired a defensive coordinator yet?I wonder if he's going to regret that decision when the NCAA comes calling again...LOL at our recruits shitting on him now
12/22/2014 11:19:47 AM
^players with attitudes like this make me very happy about our future
12/22/2014 11:24:24 AM
12/22/2014 11:24:41 AM
UNC doesn't have a DC yet. So, to me, it would seem odd not even knowing who is coordinator is and committing. But maybe relationships with the position coaches are just as important. I dunno. I just really hate reading stuff on PP and elsewhere mad at the recruit or questioning his character for picking UNC. Whatever...he can go wherever he wants. This one is kinda what I'm talking about:
12/22/2014 11:28:39 AM
Pack Pride is a shit storm.
12/22/2014 11:30:23 AM
^^ yeah i guess he found out how much playing time was available over there while watching us destroy them.Quentez Johnson cracks me up
12/22/2014 11:36:07 AM
Roseboro and Gallaspy keep hinting at a big secret they cant tell yet.Hope its Frasier, and then again I hope its someone else too..some other big time players.Hughes made a terrible choice. NO coordinator on D? they must have offered him a spot on offense.
12/22/2014 11:49:08 AM
Sucks. That was surprising, considering the confidence of some of the more "in-the-know" folks. Oh well, more room for some of the other guys who haven't committed or are rumored to decommit that keep getting mentioned
12/22/2014 11:57:56 AM
Don't worry I hear Rocky Reid is decommitting from Tennessee we can use that scholarship on another RB
12/22/2014 12:06:10 PM
that'll be perfect for the exotic offense we're gonna start running with six RBs in the backfield
12/22/2014 12:11:09 PM
12/22/2014 12:34:49 PM
12/22/2014 12:52:51 PM
The silver lining is, while we may have missed on him, it's not like his commitment alone is what would determine the success of this recruiting class. Hines, Roseboro, McGirt...possibly still Fraiser. There's some legitimate studs (from a recruiting standpoint...who knows how anybody will pan out) in this class with or without Huhges. Still, a bummer we missed on him. Especially considering how confident many folks seemed to be.
12/22/2014 12:58:27 PM
^and 4* Gallaspy
12/22/2014 1:05:14 PM
12/22/2014 1:19:36 PM
Stars!!!
12/22/2014 1:21:15 PM
^4 true, i just meant it more as it's not necessarily as big of a loss in terms of immediate positional need as, say, McGirt would have been. we are becoming pretty well stocked at most positions (QB and WR being possible exceptions with regard to depth), but a strong OT was a must in this class, IMO.^^ Rivals has a lot of our guys as 2-stars that have 3 elsewhere, so I'm not sure who all you're referring to, but one of our 2-stars is a long snapper who's in the top 10 for his position according to just about everyone. another 2-star (according to Rivals) holds a Clemson offer and was just named defensive player of the year in Georgia's second highest HS classification.
12/22/2014 1:34:15 PM
12/22/2014 1:35:26 PM
So, it's agreed that the coaching staff needs to do a much better job with recruiting?
12/22/2014 1:42:24 PM
Your trolling is lame too
