World class from Alexis. The stuff of legend.

For once I am extremely delighted we are kicking off at 7AM. So before City, Arsenal and Liverpool (monday) kick off United could be in 3rd place. Liverpool could be in 5th by the time they kickoff on Monday and Watford away isn't easy. Now Swansea is still battling relegation and with a depleted United squad its going to be tough but we have to take this chance and put pressure on pool. I expect we will draw against Tottenham but from tomorrow if we are to win we basically have to win 3 out of 4 for a top 4 finish. I think 76 points will be the cut off for top 4. United have to win 4 out of the next 5 to do that. We have to go into the Tottenham match with wins against Swansea and Arsenal IMO to stand a shot.
4/29/2017 2:06:14 PM
How Spursy will it get this afternoon?
4/30/2017 7:39:08 AM
Horrible if Swansea go down because of THAT.English media are hilarious to the extent they kill foreigners for diving but never their own.
4/30/2017 8:12:21 AM
RIP United 2016/17 seasonThat was as bad as I've seen all year, and now with Shaw and Bailly out, it's surely all over
4/30/2017 9:28:26 AM
Bailly was really starting to put it all together too. Shame.I'm gonna have to miss the NDL today not that it will go well for Arsenal anyway most likely.
4/30/2017 9:30:35 AM
nice day so far.Too bad that loss to Watford tomorrow is going to make it all irrelevant.
4/30/2017 11:14:19 AM
MIND THE GAP.Lol
4/30/2017 12:48:36 PM
Thought game was at 10:30 not 11:30 so I did see a bit at end.Turned TV on. Saw Welbeck playing RWB. Turned TV off.[Edited on April 30, 2017 at 1:19 PM. Reason : Spurs are clearly better. Major miracle they didn't finish higher over the last two decades once.]
4/30/2017 1:18:52 PM
Random question. Why are Spurs playing next year at Wembley while their stadium is being built? Why not stay at WHL one more year?
4/30/2017 1:23:56 PM
https://twitter.com/theoneharbourne/status/858712711924002816Ribs exposed?
4/30/2017 1:42:32 PM
^^ I think they'd lose out on a ton of gate since they have to knock down an entire stand to finish the new stadium. It's going to be interesting given their track record at Wembley with this squad.
4/30/2017 4:50:11 PM
Ah so it's basically on the same grounds. Didn't know that. Thanks.
4/30/2017 5:27:50 PM
Not the best photo but they have to remove WHL to finish
4/30/2017 7:32:32 PM
5/1/2017 9:37:01 AM
holy shit, Can.....
5/1/2017 9:15:19 PM
random question, but do any of these teams play in anything worth a damn in the month of August if I wanted to hop the pond? Thanks!
5/1/2017 11:49:18 PM
the new season starts the 12th. The actual fixtures come out June 14th.The week before is the community shield at wembley which will be chelsea vs spurs or arsenal.
5/2/2017 7:43:39 AM
On another note I hope Atletico do one over Real finally. It would suck for them to beat real and then lose out to Juve or Monaco though. I admire Atletico and the way they are run. Would love to see a Atletico v Juve/Monaco final though.
5/2/2017 8:57:15 AM
I'd be fine with anyone but Real winning it.
5/2/2017 11:27:17 AM
some hope is restored, Bailly, Pogba, Smalling and Jones trained this morning
5/3/2017 7:50:35 AM
Real-Juve. Kill me. Was really hoping for Monaco before they get gutted this summer. Rumors already that bids upward of £80m coming for Mbappe.Anyway, sounds like Ozil is probably gonna re-up but Sanchez is almost certainly gone and the malpractice to let his contract run down is amazing..[Edited on May 4, 2017 at 7:44 AM. Reason : Mbappe, Martial and Pogba at United. Good French trio there.]
5/4/2017 7:43:27 AM
I'd prefer seeing Buffon win one to another Real win.
5/4/2017 8:18:56 AM
THEO, WHAT'S THE SCORETHEO THEO WHAT'S THE SCORENLD was everything I hoped and more. Hard to describe how hype the atmosphere was, but TV does not do it justice after I got home and rewatched the match. The police presence to even get the away fans into the stadium was ridiculous. If they don't have 50+ officers out there in riot gear on horseback forming a human barricade that would have been an all out war in the street.I've been to some big time NFL games but they don't compare. It's a higher level of fandom. Everyone is so organized and the influence the crowd has on the game is much higher than I thought. Then getting to watch Alli and Kane put Arsenal to the sword in the 2nd half was things dreams are made of.I've been singing the Alderweireld song to myself for days now. It's fucking catchy.Certainly won't be my last NLD.COYS
5/4/2017 8:34:32 AM
^ lol the NFL is a shitshow, there is no comparison. NFL fans will never be part of the clubs they support. As much as English fans complain about clubs not doing enough for their fans they have no idea how American sports treat its fans. I am all for Real-Juve. I think Juve may actually do it this year. So organized defensively. I am hoping for a cracker of a final, seems its been a while since we have seen one. Also I don't know if I am sold on Mbappe. He is too similar to Rashford IMO and I would rather give Rashford a chance. Regardless we need to qualify for the CL and I think Griezmann will come. Thats the french trio I would rather have, especially when they will cost around the same.
5/4/2017 10:11:11 AM
^^ Though I'm the "enemy" and it's been a [really] rough season I'll never begrudge anyone that gets to attend the NLD live. It's such an awesome experience. Wazza is right on about how the NFL is peanuts to this.
5/4/2017 10:32:18 AM
slipped
5/5/2017 7:42:41 PM
19 year old American Matthew Olosunde made the traveling squad for united. He played at Duke for a year.
5/7/2017 7:12:26 AM
no joking around, that game was worse than every MLS game I've watched this year
5/7/2017 10:22:28 AM
Danny always has to score against us. Wayne Rooney, dear me is he done. No desire or conviction in anything that man does. I don't even think he can fit in with Everton anymore.
5/8/2017 10:01:11 AM
Happy to have secured CL group stage in back to back years now if nothing else.Is there any doubt Hazard scores the winner to seal the title for Chelsea today?
5/8/2017 12:00:48 PM
Doesn't Chelsea need 2 wins or 1 and a Spurs loss?
5/8/2017 12:22:11 PM
^^^ I feel like every time Welbeck is healthy he has played well at Arsenal. Too bad he rarely is.Also, I generally think Lingard is garbage but I would KILL for Rashford. He's not Ronaldo at that age but he is going to be the best in England along with Alli for a long long time.[Edited on May 8, 2017 at 12:37 PM. Reason : Or does he go just by Dele now? Can't remember which one.]
5/8/2017 12:37:13 PM
so what happens if United wins Europa and comes in 4th place. Does that CL spot fall to the 5th place team?fucking pool is killing me.
5/8/2017 12:47:48 PM
5/8/2017 1:15:28 PM
Lingard is a good squad player IMO. Every squad needs someone like him, especially for those Wembley cup finals. Rashford has a level of commitment and maturity that is close to Ronaldo's level. I am delighted he is a Manchester lad and I hope he lives up to be even 50% of the player Ronaldo is. He will be a here for a long time unlike fucking off to Madrid like most latin players. I have heard nothing but good things from Arsenal fan for Welbeck. I am glad he is doing well and have nothing but praise for him. He is a hard worker and gives it his all on the pitch. I think he has likely reached his peak though and I don't see much room for improvement. I don't think Welbeck can lead the line though and is a great second striker to have, especially because he offers versatility. His best performance under Sir Alex came as a utility player in unique ties, much like Lingard is used. If by some miracle we finish 4th (not likely now) and still win Europa then whoever is 5th (Pool/City) is fucked. I think the top 4 stays constant now unless Pool has a major collapse. Even then I think Arsenal is likelier to get 4th in that case.
5/8/2017 1:55:32 PM
^^so either way, they don't seal the title today
5/8/2017 3:13:27 PM
Technically, no.But they're up 1-0 and this looks to be one way traffic to Middlesborough's goal[Edited on May 8, 2017 at 3:36 PM. Reason : That's also not WHL in the pic above]
5/8/2017 3:35:02 PM
I mean the title was sealed as soon as Tottenham lost to West Ham. That was the only way Spurs could have put some pressure on Chelsea but its likely that spurs were never gonna catch them anyway. Lets see how Chelsea do with European competition next year. Lack of injuries, a very good squad that quit on their manager, and Kante has all been kind to Conte. Conte' European record is pretty bad and handling rotation will be a huge challenge for him next year IMO.In other news hats off to the Swans because I think their results at the end of april and Everton in May have most probably saved them. Not having won since March 4 (including a loss to Hull & a draw to newly relegated Middlesbrough) they beat Stoke 2-0, drew at Old Trafford 1-1, and beat Everton 1-0. All while Hull lost to a relegated Sunderland and now have to play Palace & Tottenham. Swansea have to play Sunderland and West Brom. That last spot likely comes down to Palace vs Hull. Hull win and they will be 1 point behind Palace with Palace playing Man United on the last day and Hull playing Tottenham. Swansea play West Brom on the last day. Palace have lost 3 in a row now and it could be an ignominious end for Big Sam but if United make the Europa finals it could be a nice lifeline for them. Hull probably threw it away by losing to a terrible Sunderland side. [Edited on May 8, 2017 at 5:28 PM. Reason : hg][Edited on May 8, 2017 at 5:37 PM. Reason : aa]

Woot but the Wolfpack fan in me is still worried we will pull some NC State Shit and blow this.
5/8/2017 9:42:51 PM

5/9/2017 8:03:05 AM
Yeah Buddy
5/12/2017 5:52:28 PM
Liverpool going to win out but it would be crazy if Arsenal still qualify and win a trophy in this shit season. And my opinion is Wenger and Ozil stay and Sanchez goes to Juve.
5/13/2017 2:39:00 PM
^ lol no
5/13/2017 10:07:04 PM
Now I just have to wait for Liverpool to fuck it up next week... or have a complete meltdown today. But for now, smokem if you gottem

This team is so fun to watch. Everything is in place for them to make serious run at silverware on multiple fronts next season. I hope Levy adds a couple pieces that could put us over the top. Somebody who has been there and won big things to help in the locker room would be ideal.
5/19/2017 8:38:19 AM
Wayne Rooney?
