I fully recognize that the Bears are a trainwreck and should probably just go ahead and tank it from here

That was fucking amazing, couldn't be happier for Cam and the Panthers. Watching him run around yelling at the Seattle crowd was the highlight of the season so far. Hey Richard, tell us what the Seahawk's record is?

Glad Olsen got that last TD because he was about 3 total yards away from 3 TDs.
10/18/2015 8:07:36 PM
I take it Cam had an uneven performance overall but having mainly just watched the last quarter or so and the success so far this year, I'm back to being as much a Cam believer as I've been since his rookie yr
10/18/2015 8:12:05 PM
Sure Seattle's record doesn't say it, but they are still a damn good team. This was one of the best wins in recent memory for the Panthers (especially playing IN Seattle) and probably Cam's best win

10/18/2015 11:33:17 PM
^^ Top 10 in DVOA and they've had a lead in the 4th quarter in every one of their losses TERRIBLE teams don't have those credentials
10/18/2015 11:41:33 PM
Apparently records and opponents are meaningless on TWW.It's all about eye tests and hunches. 5-0 teams against losing teams are unstoppable and the Seahawks are a top notch team, even though they're 2-4 (everyone knows they should be 1-5). Can't wait for the playoffs! [Edited on October 19, 2015 at 12:03 AM. Reason : .]
10/19/2015 12:00:38 AM
There are only 11 teams in the NFL with winning recordsI guess there are no good teams since all of the 11 winning teams have just beat up on the 21 .500 or worse teams!
10/19/2015 12:13:19 AM
Look, the Panthers are going to make the playoffs, no doubt. They've played a super soft schedule up to this point, and it's not looking like it's going to get much harder. But beating a shitty, dysfunctional Seattle team isn't really a cause for celebration. It's not the same team from the past two years. I mean you can be happy that you're 5-0 (I certainly would be), but I'd restrain my jubilation until you actually win a playoff game. State went 4-0 and everyone went nuts, but look what's happened since...[Edited on October 19, 2015 at 12:22 AM. Reason : .]
10/19/2015 12:20:31 AM
lol at that analogy. that would be like if the Panthers' first 4 games were against college teams, instead of professional athletesif beating Seattle in Seattle is so easy, how come the Panthers are the first team to do it since the Cowboys over a year ago?i guess if we went 16-0, we'd have to restrain our jubilation until we won a playoff game though[Edited on October 19, 2015 at 12:27 AM. IDK, ask the 1-5 Lions who should've won a few weeks ago. Do you think the Lions are a great team? I sure don't. That was the biggest botched call I've seen during the regular season since the game that was gifted to the Seahawks a few seasons ago with guest refs against the Packers. And actually, I think it's a pretty good analogy. Beating shitty teams and being undefeated is great until you run into teams that have played better ones than you have (UL, VT). The sad thing is that both of those teams that State lost to still suck.[Edited on October 19, 2015 at 12:34 AM. Reason : whoops, thought the Lions actually won two games. silly me]
10/19/2015 12:32:11 AM
you sound like a bitter 49ers fan who simply hates Seattle if you honestly think it's a good analogythere is no such thing as a shitty team in the NFL, certainly not on the level of comparing some 1-AA schools to Power 5 conference teams. The Browns almost beat the Broncos today. The Bears almost beat the Packers this year. The undefeated Bengals almost lost to the worst team in the NFL (the Seahawks).I can only assume that you're butthurt that your franchise QB can't pass and your whole defense retired last year.[Edited on October 19, 2015 at 12:38 AM. Reason : 5-0]

the 49ers might suck, but they are not a bad team at home. Seattle is an even better team at home. Keep hatin though.
10/19/2015 12:45:16 AM
their situation is nothing the 49ers situationlike, at all
10/19/2015 12:45:31 AM
btw, had Seattle won today, they'd be 3-3. They started last year a miserable 3-3. And nearly won the Super Bowl.
10/19/2015 12:49:03 AM
If we're going to play the "if game" (and I'll admit I started it), they should be 1-5, not 3-3. Why is everyone pretending like they 'won' that game against Detroit. It was a fucking joke. Absolutely horrendous call.In their last seven games, they SHOULD be 1-6 (including that heartbreaking Super Bowl loss).[Edited on October 19, 2015 at 12:56 AM. Reason : .]
10/19/2015 12:54:10 AM
combined record of the 4 teams Seatlle has lost to (by a combined 20 points): 18-3 can't wait to see what happens when we play a team who has played a tough schedule
10/19/2015 12:58:16 AM
luckily for the Panthers, that's not likely to happen until the playoffsIf you beat Green Bay, I'll gladly eat crow though. In fact, if the Panthers even win 2/3 their next games, I won't have much to say, other than that I was was wrong.I just think Seattle sucks. In fact, I think they suck so much they might actually lose to the 49ers next week...[Edited on October 19, 2015 at 1:03 AM. Reason : .]
10/19/2015 1:03:02 AM
+9 scoring differential with a brutal schedule the first 6 weeksyour dudes in San Fran are -60but please, keep comparing the two as if they're on the same level of bad
10/19/2015 1:05:34 AM
They should be +3 since the Lions actually won that game, but ok
10/19/2015 1:07:57 AM
If we beat Green Bay? Who has Green Bay beaten? 6 teams with losing records? They haven't beaten anybody either. We'll need to beat a team with a winning record who has beaten a bunch of other teams with winning records. Oh wait, there aren't any teams like that in the entire NFL.[Edited on October 19, 2015 at 1:18 AM. Reason : I like how it's 100% certain that the Lions would've actually scored after the penalty]
10/19/2015 1:17:48 AM
Then the Panthers should have no problem beating them at home. Right?
10/19/2015 1:20:23 AM
Whoever wins the Green Bay / Carolina game, it won't be a good win. Because the losing team won't have beaten anybody that's beaten anybody, right?
10/19/2015 1:21:25 AM
Actually, Green Bay plays Denver next week. If they win, they'll beat an undefeated team, which apparently is worth a whole lot to Panthers fans.
10/19/2015 1:23:48 AM
But who has Denver beaten?
10/19/2015 1:26:46 AM

Wow a butt hurt 49ers fan... you never know what you'll come across when you stop by TWW.
10/19/2015 8:35:04 AM
for everyone using the strength of victory argument against the Panthers:NE - .448Cin - .314Den - .294GB - .314Car - .310NE has the best and Denver has the worst; Cincy, GB, and the Panthers are effectively identical. so if you want to play the "Panthers haven't beaten anyone" card, neither has anyone else (except NE). except, as has been talked about to death, SOV is a somewhat flawed stat because the opponent's records include the losses to the team being analyzed. if the Panthers (or any of those teams) lose those games, they become the "best 0-6 team" for having such a "hard" schedule.tl;dr: Panthers are undefeated so piss off
10/19/2015 8:51:17 AM
sherman and earl thomas are really good, don't get me wrong. but i counted at least 2 or 3 plays where the announcers sucked their dicks for making a great play, and then replay showed it was nothing more than a dropped pass where the DB didn't cause the drop at all.5-0fuck everybody else.

I was ready for some salty bandwagon seahawks fans in her wasn't expecting UJustWait84 bitching. That was a nice Monday surprise. I apologize for all the things I yelled at Funchess yesterday through the tv.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qM60kzKCzH8[Edited on October 19, 2015 at 12:38 PM. Reason : .]
10/19/2015 12:10:51 PM
Funchess definitely redeemed himself with two huge grabs late. But damn, he's got to catch the easy ones. Reminds me a lot of Benjamin last year -- makes the amazing catch, drops the gimme.
10/19/2015 12:46:51 PM
Seahawks clearly have issues, especially along the offensive line and with covering receivers/tight ends on seam routes, but they still have one of the most loaded rosters in the entire league. Writing them off at this point is incredibly shortsighted.
10/19/2015 1:03:10 PM
^^They don't have the same OL as last year, Lynch looks like Father Time finally caught up to him, and they lost Dan Quinn.Think losing the DC and the OL play are the main reasons they've hit the fan. Kam's holdout definitely didn't help things, him being out of position cost them the last 2 games. Eifert and Olsen had huge games at Kam's expense.
10/19/2015 2:21:41 PM
Kam can lay the lumber with the best of em, but his coverage is shit, at least this season. Reminds me of old Cowboys Roy Williams.I like the doubters though. The alternative is everyone sucking the Panthers' dicks. Like they did with the Cardinals before they went and lost to a 3rd string QB[Edited on October 19, 2015 at 2:25 PM. Reason : .]

they're 2 games behind Arizona and still get to play them twiceit really isn't that difficult to see how they can turn their season around2-4 isn't that much different than 2-3, which is where we were after Week 5 in 2013Wilson and Graham are clearly getting more accustomed to each other, so that'll be a pretty big boost
10/19/2015 3:01:11 PM
^^ THISI could see them MAYBE going 9-7 at best, but they've clearly got problems closing out games. Lots of locker room drama combined with losing usually doesn't mean a deep playoff run.
10/19/2015 3:05:00 PM
the 6 seed in the nfc is 3-2the seahawks are not dead by any means
10/19/2015 3:47:57 PM
3 of their 4 losses are to undefeated teamsI'd rather not face them again if they make the playoffs
