Good job by Spurs to nick all three.

Still only conceded once all year. Surely that should put you top of table.

You right.

I still think City is going to run away with the league eventually. I hope not so it's interesting all year but I just think when they're on, nobody can touch them.

they were on today because it was united. United has played 3 of the top six already, two away, the gap will close before may. to write them off is dumb

Expect City to be 'Typical City'. Similar to 'Clemsoning'. The league should come down to City and Chelsea with Arsenal contending till March

I agreed with you. I'm not writing them off right now.

I was just restating my preseason prediction that City is going to win the title comfortably.

Arsenal needed to reinforce their squad more to compete on four fronts but they are desperately unlucky with injuries right now.

Away to Swansea this weekend without Theo, Cazorla, Ox, Rosicky, Podolski, Sanogo and Diaby (lol).

Midfield depth when healthy is absurdly sick, though.

Rodgers said that Suarez was "chomping at the bit" and "hungrier than ever" to get back today.

Well played, Brendan, well played.

Eh, Wenger has always viewed the League Cup as a developmental competition, and I don't blame him for that even considering the trophy drought. Plus, that's still a squad that should be completely capable of beating West Brom. Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Arteta, Monreal, Flamini, and Jenkinson are all first team players, so the defense should be strong enough. I'm excited to see what Eisfeld, Gnabry, and Ryo can do. Those are some very exciting young players and they need a chance to play in a real competition. Plus, as annoying as it is, we need to see what we've got at this point in The Greatest Striker That Ever Lived.

I thought United had a pretty senior squad outside of their back four until I looked at what Liverpool is starting

As in first choice?

Yeah. This is pretty much Liverpool's best lineup, excluding injuries to Johnson/Coutinho.

Haha that was brutal to watch. No one up front for Arsenal has a plan. So slow on the ball.

Surely a bunch of kids with no experience have no chance in PKs.

Arsenal come from the dead to win on penalties after two horrible misses from West Brom.

Chelsea in the next round...

Man City to win the title comfortably? Man City won't be winning the title. Its coming down to Arsenal/United/Chelsea. City only took advantage of a horrible squad selection by Moyes. I hope Moyes has learned never to pick Young, Valencia, and playing a CB at RB. Smalling at center half had a great game against a full strength (barring Agger) pool team. No one will be running away with the title this year. 80 points might just do it to.

I would expect Spurs to take one at the very least and should win. Chelsea are in shit form and Spurs really need a win to be looked at as legit.

No way I make it through tailgating and State game without checking Arsenal score but I'll try

I like how they are pressuring the ball up top and trying to win it back quickly.

They stopped closing down the ball and got pinned in their own end.

Not the same flowing passing game from the first 30.

Shame too. Torres was the best player on the field.

A draw probably is a fair result based on early Spurs pressure and then Chelsea claiming the second half.

true

Though, the I see the replay, I'm not shocked he was shown another yellow. Of course, it wasn't exactly fair, but I can see what the assistant ref was thinking.
