i'm not saying they can't protest. I am saying that they escalated the situation by being douchebags. You can't protest by putting up a tent on gov't property, though, that's for sure.keep in mind, though, that what you quoted was my response to someone else saying "the police could have easily cuffed them." No, the police couldn't have done so, and it was specifically due to the protestors' actions. The occupy dumbasses can sit down on the ground and throw a tantrum, but they shouldn't be surprised when the police respond to that, either.

what "guide to protesting" are you getting your information from?

that's fine. but Civil Disobedience also doesn't mean you can't be arrested. and the pepper spray was meant as the lowest form of force before resorting to physically removing the dumbasses. it's like you aren't reading the thread at all. let me quote it for you from the previous page:

I, too, condescend to large segments of the population who feel disenfranchised. Also, comparing a sit-in to a temper tantrum is downright insulting to the sit-in-ers (not to mention just being a horrible and not-at-all-accurate analogy).]

why on earth would any sane OWS supporter post that ^ i mean it's really sad. those people have all the best intentions and desire to do good... they've just been hammered with marxism since childhood.... so you get this type of interview.i wish them luck finding a job. i also hope they soon see the error of what they are blindly preaching.

You're pulling back a little; tempering your views to create empathy. This is a crucial element to trolling. You went full tilt earlier and risked becoming a caricature of yourself, and you recognize it. This is good, my pupil. Your studies are progressing nicely.

If I were the cops, I'd take my uniform off (symbolizing I am just an American, too), shake hands with the protesters, and leave. So what if I lose my job. Freedom is worth more than any paycheck.

I wonder if Time magazine isn't a rag of a magazine with horrible writers and no fact checking when it's published in Europe and Asia.
11/26/2011 5:40:27 PM
The TIME magazine covers are proof that there is collusion among numerous sources to prevent even the idea of revolution from being considered as possible within the United States. Saying that Occupy is a Marxist movement is like saying that Wal-Mart does more harm than good to poor communities. It's taking one thing you don't understand and applying it to something you don't like in order to make it appear to be wrong.Marx was incredibly accurate in his explanations of class struggle. The bourgeoisie is getting smaller as more and more people are pushed down into the proletariat. Capitalism does have built-in contradictions that will result in its elimination. And remember, the bourgeoisie themselves were a revolutionary class before they were the ruling class.[Edited on November 26, 2011 at 9:13 PM. depends if you mean a true death threat or not, if a reasonable person test would deem the listener to conclude that the speaker truly intends to carry out the threat then no it is not protected
