Brown went something like 8-26 in a loss to kansas state last night. Kabongo eeked away with a double-double, but it seemed like on every play he was just lookin to score. I really dont get the love for him over Zo, but maybe I'm just being a homer. Anyway he is a projected lottery pick.

Okay I don't actively root for a player to get injured, but I don't feel bad for them if they play for UNC or UMD. I don't root for the worst, but when they play us I hope it keeps them out of the game. When a guy grabs at his ankle I don't want him to have a SER 4 ankle fracture, just a mild sprain.

Either way though, fuck UNC and UMD. Sadly I have a number of very good friends that are alums of both schools.

^ Yes I am. I'm not cold hearted when it comes to patients. Last week I had to help tell a 21 y/o kid and his mother that he has AIDS. Later I saw her in a waiting room by herself bawling her eyes out, so I went in and comforted her and assured her that AIDS isn't a death sentence like it was 20 and 30 years ago. Later that week on the day that he was being discharged, she came up and thanked me, and gave me a hug.

No, I understand they're a part of the game, but Strickland's never struck me as the douchebag the rest of the UNC players are. And I think it's sad when any athlete gets injured. I'd rather beat them without the excuse of being a starter short.
