^^ Historically, WVU's program is better than ours I'd say -- as well as half the ACCs. If that was USF or Rutgers saying that, it'd be a bit tougher to take.

^^You'll get no argument from me...WV's program has certainly been better than our football program. I guess that's, in part, why so many of their fans (on message boards at least) acted like it was so degrading to be playing lowly NC State. But I think what they fail to realize, partly because the ACC sucked this year, is that we quietly had a very good season.

What I do not understand is the ESPN crew back in the studio after the game (both anchors besides Lou Holtz...don't remember who they were), as well as articles and write ups I've read about the game, really slammed WV and didn't give State much credit. I thought we played a heck of a game on both sides of the ball and absolutely dominated. It's a media conspiracy..... (kidding, of course)

Not that it matters...we won and the game is over.

I just want to say that I also recently got this shirt (got it for Christmas), and it is pretty awesome. I love the old school wolf licking his chops logo. I like my 2x NCAA Champions shirt better, but not by much. Hopefully Adidas will continue to put out good stuff like that for us. They cost a little more than the rest of the shirts that you will find on GoPack.com, but also significantly more awesome.

Nice highlight video...That TD pass from RW to Jarvis Williams was amazing. RW had over 10 seconds to make something happen. And smart play by James Washington? to hold up on that block...it would have been a block in the back, negating the TD.

#11 for WVU is a monster. That dude destroyed Vermiglio all game. When he didn't use his pure speed to get around Vermiglio, he used an awesome juke back to the inside. That dude reminded me a lot of Manny Lawson.

God only knows why he was splitting time (at best) with some other scrubs. Just about every good drive we had saw him on the sidelines.

I noticed that too. Bible ran a few plays in the game that I had never seen us run including the screen. Its been the Mazzone days since I remember seeing a screen play

Yes that schedule (I know the order is still TBD) does look favorable. No VT, no Miami, UNC in Raleigh, Clemson in Raleigh...toughest game by far is @FSU. We should be 4-0 OOC (although I'm not really sure what Cincy's prospects are like for 2011). I could definitely see us winning 9 or 10 games next year regardless of who the QB is.

We needed to break out that screen game much earlier in the year. If we can't run and the pass rush is getting to Russell, we have to screen.


The screens in the bowl game weren't well-blocked, though, so they didn't go for much. We needed more practice. The WRs let their defenders shed them immediately.

I was on a cruise ship this whole week. We requested them to play the state game in the bars but they couldnt find it. However, i walk down the hall a couple nights later and there is a mass of people watching the unc game. Go figure. I watched the end of that one. Thankfully there were more tenn fans than unc. I just found out the score of our game yesterday and just watched highlights on youtube.
