i have had no problems getting into a party, b/c this is how you do it:

once you receive an invitation, (this is for PSN, but i imagine it is similar for xbox). hit the ps button on your controller, sign out of the psn, sign back in, then accept the invitation. that will let you join the party
it is a pain in the butt and something they will probably fix, but it works every time

whats everyones favorite loadout for mp? I havent unlocked much yet but I do like the FAMAS with Silencer and Holographic Site, Bling, Stopping Power, and Steady Aim.

i can't stand the FAMAS, idk the 3 shot burst is just so much different than any other game.

hardline (i LOVE hardline)
steady aim
martyrdom (deathstreak)

for smaller/closed in maps:
P90 w/ red dot sight
sleight of hand
hardline
scrambler
martyrdom (deathstreak)

Hardline is more valuable than most people think. 2 kills for UAV, then if i get 2 more its predator missile right there. Assuming the missile does well (1 kill, 2 ideally) thats harrier strike right there

as long as your aim doesn't suck, its not that big of a deal. Both guns i use have relatively high damage. I was pretty dependant on stopping power back in WaW but then i realized there were other perks i wanted to explore. I usually do pretty decent and get positive ratios most of the time (unless theres really godly people on their team and my team blows)

Regarding stopping power; most of the time when you get an angle on someone, its not gonna matter, since you can pump a dozen bullets into them and they're dead regardless

It only really comes into play when someone is running behind cover as you're shooting them, and that little boost in damage may make the difference in killing them or not

^It's a lot like a red dot, except a more detailed reticle. The "housing" or whatever takes up a little more space than the red dot, blocking a little more of your view. What I don't know is whether or not it's the same level of "zoom" as the red dot, or if it's a little more.

^^^ I used the AC130 last night.... it's freakin awesome. I got it in an emergency air drop.
Favorite loadout thus far:

M4A1 - Holographic Sight, Grenade Launcher (got FMJ last night, may switch to that)
Whatever pistol I have at the time
Frag, Flash
Scavenger, Hardline Pro, forgot the last one
UAV, Precision Air Strike, Emergency Air Drop
Painkiller

it seems like shooting down on someone from an aerial advantage kills people faster, which I like. I feel like the guns are less accurate and more powerful in this game, which is a welcome improvement.

sleight of hand
hardline (greatest perk ever)
steady aim
painkiller

the SAW works incredibly well in this game if you manually shoot 3 round bursts. aim center mass, and the recoil will usually give you a headshot. If you just hold down the trigger, the gun is uncontrollable unless you're spraying down a wall with hopes of someone being behind it.

I've been using the SAW and the M4 almost exclusively in an attempt to max them out. Once they're done, I'll go to the next gun in those classes. Once I have the AA12 available, that will probably be in my arsenal on the regular.

The only thing that truly bothers me about this game is the SPAS-12 being a pump. The gun is a combo semi-auto / pump shotgun, and unless you're using third-world half load ammunition it will fire semi-auto. This gun fires slower than molasses on the game and is treated as a pump-only firearm. Add to the fact that I personally can shoot a pump with accuracy faster than a semi-auto, and the result is that I get incredibly frustrated with the game mechanics for this gun.

anyone here that is decent at the game want to play? gt is J 2THE ACKSON

also, the tactical knife attachment is incredible. yesterday I got over 300 kills for the USP using only that.

best killstreaks to unlock right away are harrier and chopper pilot. if you keep your predator missile, getting to 7 is pretty easy, and considering most kids don't even think to shoot down your harrier, getting 4 more kills just requires you to not get killed. so easy to go something ridiculous like 30/1

This matchmaking is the worst... with hundreds of thousands of players online, the best game it can put me and my squad in is on some guys host from the fucking netherlands?

Laggy Bullshit x 1000 and it counts as a loss just because the matchmaking system sucks.

They need to fix this garbage. Add a search preference.

Haha I do the same thing. I have exclusively used the FAMAS and MP5K with a bit of sniping mixed in so that I can get all the upgrades and camos for them. Then I go to the next gun in the category and repeat.

I racked up 10 kills last night with my sentry gun in one game and its usually good for at least 3-4 kills...pretty cool that it stays even after I die. Ive stopped using the Predator because of this...I can usually get the AC-130 just by sitting there.

great game picked it up about 3 pm yesterday and just finished it about 10 mins ago

a few questions though

***********SPOILERS**************

I feel like I died in the game somewhere around 3 times, not just being shot and starting over I mean with the plot line

granted I didnt play CODMW1 but I was so lost when that happened and I popped up as seemingly someone else

In addition, after beating the game it says that my completion in single is only 50.3%...how can that be?
