^ I hear he's $30 at Wal-Mart. Though, I haven't seen him at any Wal-Mart in the triangle.

This.

Though I haven't given up yet, I'm refusing to get myself into completionist mode on RoTF stuff because there's simply far, far too much of it. I'll probably just stick to the main line and cut out stuff that I got for the first movie like Robot Heroes, Fast Action Battlers, etc. Just simply too much this time, and toys of the movie aesthetic just don't hold my interest for long. I blame this on the expressionless alien v. predator like faces on half of 'em.

Universe on the other hand, well, Hasbro still has my wallet in their clutches on that line <3

thank god I don't have credit card bills but I do have a painful monthly car payment.

I'm just collecting ROTF right now. I could give up but most of the time I just can't. I only care about getting the actual figures. I don't care about the robot heroes, FABs, or any of the other stuff.

I got some stuff from Universe/Classics, Alternators and Masterpiece that I would love to get. I'll have to wait though til the money comes.

ROTF stuff has been discounted at Brier Creek Wal-Mart. Though, they don't have the discounted prices advertised.

Scout- $7.44
Deluxe- $9.02
Voyager- $16.79
Leader- $36.99
Voyager Seeker- $22

Wow, $36.99 for Leader? That's a good deal. How long is this sale going to last?

according to my recent, it sounds like they "rolled back" the prices even though its not advertised. I don't know how long this will be going on.
They still have the regular prices listed on the shelves. If you are at Brier Creek Wal-Mart anytime soon, I would do a price check first. Their's a price check scanner in the toy section.

Picked up a RotF Jetfire yesterday. Best part is the Jet mode. Really, really big in that mode.

Combined mode with Prime is fun to look at, but the articulation is atrocious. Jetfire is basically strapped to prime at the shoulders, waist, and (!) feet. Doesn't leave much room for movement, or even an epic pose

I'm starting to see Jetfire pop up in Raleigh now.
Bruticus Maximus is at Crossroads Target. I'm going to get him soon.

Wal-Mart has started a rollback on ROTF. ROTF Leaders are now $35 , Seekers (Skywarp and Ramjet) are $19.63 and Deluxes are $10. I saw this at Brier Creek Wal-Mart. The prices are on Wal-Mart's website. This is a nationwide deal now.
Also, TRU is doing a 50% sale on select transformers today and tomorrow. The ad shows TFA leader Prime and Megatron. I don't know if it's just animated or other lines.

Possible new line coming out next year called "Power Core Combiners". It looks more like Targetmasters. First figure revealed is Huffer with Caliburst.

Don't know if any of you gentlemen have ordered from any TF retailers on the web before, but at least one of 'em appears to have had some customer credit card data stolen. This happened to me early in the week and, thankfully, Wachovia flagged the charges and I was able to stop them, but this has been happening to a lot of people based on reading Seibertron/2005/etc. today. Most of the weird charges have been coming from iTunes and the Microsoft Store.

Short version: TF collectors should be checking their card statements carefully.

Holy thread necropathy, Batman.

Masterpiece Grimlock is being reissued. I missed out the first time, and aftermarket prices are nuts.

Getting rid of most of my stuff from the period of this thread. Nothing crazy rare and nothing dead mint (all loose), but if anyone is looking to fill a hole in a collection for less than eBay prices, PM me for a list.
