Today and tomorrow are going to suck. Full body workout to commence in 30 minutes, followed by an 8,000 calorie carb load in the next 30 hours. I probably will only be awake a total of 10 hours tomorrow from all the drowsiness this is going to cause.

Straight down. Thats probably the problem.

that can be the problem. try to sit straight back with the weight so that your legs go to parallel and your back is straight up and down. You'll probably have to back off on the weight you're using, but that's normal.

On ME Deadlift days, I always manage to scrap my shins on the pull.

I didn't hit it on the pull. I hit my shin setting it down. that's why it hurt so damn bad, because it caught the little bump of my shin splint and dug in.When I hit the 600 mark, I'm going to start using baby powder on my legs for the pull so that I can drag the bar up my thighs.
