Kobe Smith looks enormous in that picture.

To me it looks like 95 to me

oh yeah, this is the one I was thinking about with the different jersey # that I saw last night. came from some Atlanta prep site, possibly was from last season

McGirt and Gallaspy upgraded to 4 stars on Rivals. Giving DD six 4* recruits since coming here. Per the twitters, we signed just seven 4 or 5 stars (on Rivals) from 09-13.
12/3/2014 1:01:17 PM
might as well post the article, man http://www.statefansnation.com/2014/12/football-recruiting-committs-gallaspy-mcgirt-earn-4th-star-rivals/If we get two more of the guys we're targeting, it could give coach D six in this recruiting class.
12/3/2014 1:28:06 PM
^thanks for the link...i was on my phone and just saw a couple tweets about it

No new news, but here's a list and info on guys who got upgraded to 4* per RiVals:https://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1711405

Hines and Love playing on TWC channel 323Love with a 90 yard td run already
12/5/2014 7:58:23 PM
Loves Wake Forest team beat Hines' Garner team
12/6/2014 2:08:10 AM
I'd take either of them, but Love has more top end speed & explosive play making.
12/6/2014 8:49:57 AM
Love is heading out of state, probably Stanford.
12/6/2014 10:25:25 AM
I don't pay particularly close attention to recruiting, but are we going after Love? Seems like Hines is probably our #1 guy right now.[Edited on December 6, 2014 at 1:01 PM. Reason : spelling]
12/6/2014 1:01:05 PM
I don't think we'd turn down Love, but Hines and Johnny Frasier (Princeton) are our top two targets as far as RBs go. Supposedly Hines, if we get him, would be a multi-purpose guy kinda like Matt Dayes, while Frasier would be more of a traditional back.[Edited on December 6, 2014 at 1:38 PM. Reason : clarification]

His Wolf is the only one not facing the camera. Is this like the last supper?
12/11/2014 7:49:06 PM
He'll end up at another ACC school and torch us, leading to that pic bringing the lulz.
12/11/2014 9:16:28 PM
Suggesting that Wake will be torching anyone in the future already brings the lulz
12/11/2014 9:19:27 PM
We play at Wake next year, so won't be too far in the future
12/11/2014 9:44:07 PM
is that his mother or sister
12/11/2014 9:50:41 PM
It's his (twin?) sister
12/11/2014 9:54:47 PM
yeah his sister (i think twins) runs track. we, and a few other schools, have offered her track a scholarship. from what i've read, the two of them seem to be kinda a package deal and are really close.
12/12/2014 8:51:02 AM
His sister is cute. Thats all.
12/12/2014 10:42:58 AM
She's probably 17.
12/12/2014 1:21:25 PM
if we don't get mike hughes from new bern I am going to be pissed.
12/12/2014 10:42:39 PM
That looks like an NC State glove to me
12/13/2014 10:27:46 AM
Yall see a state glove say yea!
12/13/2014 11:11:51 AM
Hope I'm wrong, but the State wristbands/glove could just as easily be the ones he has/was given that match his school's colors. That said, he apparently said he would announce after the Shrine Bowl (next Saturday) at the latest.
12/13/2014 11:14:17 AM
I predict we get hughes, hines and frasier. Mark it 8 walter.
12/13/2014 5:03:19 PM
Yeah wearing UNC Blue gloves/wristbands would look pretty weird with his black/red uniform.Guessing he was given them on his OV or at a camp and used them because they matched this jersey. Wouldn't read much into it, dude has been really quiet on the recruiting front.
12/13/2014 5:03:58 PM
Glad to finally see some fawning over high school girls in this thread, instead of just getting dreamy eyes over how big and strong high school boys are.]
12/13/2014 5:28:23 PM
Yeah I bet she has a nice little track butt
12/14/2014 1:49:08 AM
QB recruit Austin King decommitted today.
12/14/2014 2:49:38 PM
Based on what he tweeted, I have to imagine something changed on our end (like a surprise flip to us or maybe giving Hughes a look at QB). Would kinda suck not to bring in a QB in this class.I know there was talk about Wake Forest commit Kendall Hinton OVing towards the end of the season but haven't heard anything else about him in a while.[Edited on December 14, 2014 at 2:58 PM. Reason : a]
12/14/2014 2:57:16 PM
^I liked what Austin King brought to the table. Looks like a good QB.Could it be because Jalan McClendon is so strong, Austin could not beat him out? Wishful thinking I guess.
12/14/2014 3:07:00 PM
Yeah, that's the other possibility, but you'd think he would have considered that before now. High schoolers, I guess. Some people on PackPride said he got to see McClendon in practice during his recent OV and that may have led to the decommit.
12/14/2014 3:11:32 PM
^I read that on State's Rivals site as well. Don't know if there's any truth to it, or maybe it's just pure coincidence that he saw McLendon and then decommitted.
12/14/2014 3:12:52 PM
Not really losing much from a talent perspective here. Tbh, I don't think Hinton is all that good either but we need depth.
12/14/2014 3:51:01 PM
whoops[Edited on December 14, 2014 at 4:00 PM. Reason : eh, wrong thread anyway]
12/14/2014 3:59:27 PM
juco DE Drew Bailey that visited us recently will announce his decision tomorrow
12/14/2014 4:29:38 PM
^ committed to Louisville
12/14/2014 6:31:24 PM
Aaron Wiltz, former UCF commit, just committed to State2015 OLineman from Baton Rouge, 3*on 247, 2* on Rivals, offers from UCF, Cincy, Houston, Southern Miss, and a few others.
12/14/2014 9:19:00 PM
we are really building a lot of depth on the o-line with the last couple classes. hope half the guys we got pan out.related: New Bern OL Duncan Musselwhite walking on and enrolling early. he made the Shrine Bowl so he should be decent.[Edited on December 14, 2014 at 10:06 PM. Reason : a]
12/14/2014 9:54:24 PM
theres gonna be alot of NC State commits at the Shrine Bowl. Hopefully helps with Mike Hughes
12/14/2014 10:08:03 PM
Basically what the speculation is for King is that he wanted a chance to come in and compete for a chance at PT immediately or at least RS and then have a chance to start.Word is he came on his OV and McClendon scared him away. Seems the coaches are REALLY high on McClendon but I understand them trying to keep it quiet. I mean Doeren set Brissett up to be the savior this year. But from what I've gathered from various message boards, it seems people "in the know" really think McClendon is going to be a big deal here provided he stays healthy.Probably going to be hard to land a big-time recruit in this class, and next year we already have a QB on scholarship, so it'll be interesting if we save the scholarship or go after someone already committed. No chance we take a JUCO.
12/15/2014 8:27:20 AM
the problem is that in 2016, we could very likely be in the same situation as this year, with a starter (McClendon) who may be limited due to the desire to redshirt our incoming freshman (Parham) and no veteran backup QBHines set to announce Friday at 32016 in-state OL Sean Pollard set to announce Friday (expectations are to Duke)also this:[Edited on December 15, 2014 at 8:55 AM. Believe Hines just visited VT recently...so his announcement coming on the heels of that OV might seem like VT is the leader. No clue though
