First attempt ever for the guild in AQ40:

Prophet Skeram dead.

Kri, Yuaj, and Vem dead.

And 25 or so of us have very silly looking mounts that kick ass.

I just realized how quickly the guild is progressing these days. It's pretty impressive in my mind.

Our first Ebonroc kill was March 27th. So in just over a month, we have learned/cleared the second half of BWL and dropped the first two bosses in AQ40.

I am happy with that level pf progression.

they arent that bad, if you have the NR princess takes a night to learn (timing people, its all in the timing).

The pre-emps trash is fun...... dodge the meteor

Emps are a dumbass-free zone. As long as ppl arent dumb and you have decent (bwl level) gear. they will go down.

pre-c'thun trash can tear you a new one on bad packs. and dont get nullified

C'thun is a dumbass-chain zone, where 1 dumbass will kill 3-6 ppl.

we'll worry about Huhu and Emps when we get there... hopefully we will average 1 new boss kill or more a week til we can get to Huhuran... I shuold have at least 225 NR by the time we get that far.

How To Farm:

I made about 20gold per day doing this with my lvl 45 mage. Sometimes I made upwards of 30gold.

Get the skills
Skinning
Mining

Get them up to the level of the creatures you are fighting now. Go experiencing like you normally do... if solo even easier. If you see a mine, hit it. If you kill a creature you can skin, skin it. At the end of your playtime go to the AH and put them up for auction for 1silver less than everyone else is selling. The lower level stuff won't pull much anymore since most gates are opened so iunitially it's AH fodder.

"but i want to get smithing up"... noone fucking cares. The only time it's worth it money wise to do this is waaaaay later in the game and generally people have characters devoted just to skills.

People in higher guilds or hate farming and get money through instancing... need lots of supplies to up their skills. You are the supply bitch. Now mind you on some servers certain ingrediants sell for more. On Aegwyen which is relatively new....

Mithril, and the other metals sell for a lot. Just look for what people need and get it.

i generally make 20-30g/stack

go to the Bay of Storms (400+ fishing) and fish late at night for more drops... there are also elemental water pools in the area that you can fish Elemental Water, Globe of Water, and sometimes Essence of Water from.

Grats on HWL, finals week taking a toll on our raids

Ppl are starting to get burnt out, we pretty much raid every night (AQ40 most of the time) and ppl are just getting sick of it.

we raid 7 days a week (5 AQ, 1 mc (cash run), 1 bwl). Whenever we have a few ppl feelin teh burn (say 15 or more, since we have a 60 man raid crew so ppl rotate out for breaks) we just take like 4 days off to dick off, level alts, pvp.

Quote :
" A new password-stealing Trojan targeting players of the popular online game "World of Warcraft" hopes to make money off secondary sales of gamer goods, a security company warned Tuesday.

MicroWorld, an Indian-based anti-virus and security software maker with offices in the U.S., Germany, and Malaysia, said that the PWS.Win32.WOW.x Trojan horse was spreading fast, and attacking World of Warcraft players.

If the attacker managed to hijack a password, he could transfer in-game goods -- personal items, including weapons -- that the player had accumulated to his own account, then later sell them for real-world cash on "gray market" Web sites. Unlike some rival multiplayer online games, Warcraft's publisher, Blizzard Entertainment, bans the practice of trading virtual items for real cash.

"Win32.WOW is a clear indication that malware writers are targeting anything that involves money," said MicroWorld chief executive Govind Rammurthy in a statement. "Bucks may be smaller compared to a Trojan that steals bank accounts or credit card numbers...[but] cyber criminals are not complaining as long as the target is soft and numbers are high."

The Trojan spreads via traditional vectors, such as e-mail and peer-to-peer file sharing, added Rammurthy, but it has also been watched while it installs in a drive-by download from gaming sites' pop-up ads. The surreptitious installation is accomplished by exploiting various vulnerabilities in Microsoft's Internet Explorer Web browser.

Identity thieves have aimed at Warcraft previously. Just over a year ago, players were warned about a campaign that collected passwords from a bogus log-in site. "
