I get mine at CVS (have to ask for it at the pharmacy) but I live in TX and it's not available there in all states. Thought it was in NC though.

I sub the first 200mg for my coffee because I refuse to give that up and I make it plenty strong enough. For the second I take a 200mg caffeine pill. Used to need some sort of caffeinated drink in the afternoon but not with that. I actually am a lot more focused at work on EC

i have to eat something when i take it. even if its just some beef jerky or a grapefruit, otherwise i break out into a cold sweat and feel like i am going to throw up. and for me i don't feel the same effect if i take a bronkaid pill and drink an energy drink vs bronkaid + stacker pill. for some reason i hate the way the stacker pills smell/taste though so i really have to choke them down, i wonder if anyone else has that problem?

back when bronkaid was recalled a year or two ago i tried the primatene, i know 2 of those is supposed to equal 1 bronkaid but i didn't feel like it had any effect at all, so this may just be me personally but 1 bronkaid + 1 stacker2 pill is the best combo. i tried a stacker3 once and literally thought i was having heart attack, i don't know if it just has a lot more caffeine or what the difference is but never again, it really scared me.

anyway i just got suckered into buying training sessions at my gym so i am hoping all the money i spent on them will motivate me to spend less on dining out/alcohol, beach body here i come...

ECA needs to be done 2 times a day to really take effect and you'd be stupid NOT to eat something when you take it.

Clenbuterol is better and about the same price.

^ have you actually tried clen? I don't have any real need to as I am losing weight quite well as is and am not at low bf % levels but the topic is still interesting. What I think is strange is how you can legally purchase it online but not for human consumption or whatever. I wouldn't mind some clarification on that if anyone is aware.

Ephedrine fucked my world up way back when I took it. It was fucking with my emotions. Also def eat something, I once took some Ripped on a semi empty stomach and went for a run; as gross as that stuff is going down, it's way worse coming up.

Anyway I came to this thread bc I'd like to incorporate a stationery bike into my TV watching routine. Just slow speeds to be more active during couch potato times. Might also use on a rainy day to replace running. Any good recommendations?

You can get it online. It is supposed to be for research purposes only but it is pretty obvious what the intended market is.

Ephedrine has no effect on me. I don't even feel weird/bad taking it on an empty stomach. I've tried bronkaid, primatene, and a pre-made ECA supplement. Nothing. I'm pretty de-sensitized to regular stimulants. Maybe I should try meth?

"Has anyone added yohimbe to their dietary supplements? I would like some research on this."

I've messed around with yohimbe some. I only noticed decent results with it when I applied it topically in a DMSO mixture for spot reduction while taking either ephedrine or clenbuterol orally. systemic yohimbe from oral administration gets blunted by insulin in the body, but topical application can help avoid this issue.

regarding the clenbuterol from research companies, it's almost always real. the effects of taking clenbuterol are unmistakable - uncontrollable shaking of the hands, amphetamine like sensation in the core, elevated heart rate while exercising. You'd spot a fake in a heartbeat, and the stuff is so dirt cheap in bulk from china that these supply companies are making a killing selling the real thing. With that being said, the long term effects of clenbuterol cannot be good on the heart, and do you really trust some random person to dosing drugs for you that are active in the 20 microgram region? If it's not blended properly and gets unevenly distributed from the bulk container they are mixing it in, you could either get something too weak to feel or something so strong you risk a heart attack. these research companies are a dime a dozen, and a lot of them just change their names after they develop a bad reputation for product quality.

I remember watching an episode of wife swap or something where they switched an extremely athletic couple with a morbidly obese couple, and the morbidly obese husband was selling research chemicals out of his kitchen that were most likely clenbuterol and cytomel. He obviously wasn't taking them, so how concerned could you expect him to be about what he was selling?

and for people like begonias saying that they have trouble controlling their appetite, clenbuterol and T3 will just encourage you to eat more because you'll get even hungrier. You have to keep an even stronger control on your appetite when taking these chemicals.

I'll stick to my claim that low-dose DNP is safer long-term than clenbuterol and ECA stacks.

Zyzz died because he was a fucking moron. Taking a drug that caused his body to overheat and then sitting in a sauna until he was having a heart attack doesn't mean the drug killed him; stupidity killed him. having a coke and extacy habit on top of all that didn't do his heart any favors either.

Is there any harm in strength twice in one day?

I have a 4 day routine (legs, chest/core, shoulders/back, arms) + a day of yoga that I've been doing the last few weeks and its been going awesome. Today however my son is sick and running a fever (ear infection), I can't drop him in the nursery until he's better, and I missed my window to work out early.

Is there any danger/problem going in Wednesday early for chest/core, then back later in the day for shoulders/back?

^I dunno, I think that might wear you out if you're lifting somewhat heavy. I'd probably do that only if I was going on vacation or something and didn't have access to a gym.

So I've settled into this routine each week (usually do upper/lower on back-to-back days w/ a day or two of rest in between), feel free to critique:

Chest/Triceps:
Bench-------------4 sets w/ reps of 6-4-2-1
Incline-------------4 sets w/ reps of 8-6-4-2
Chest flys----------4 x 10
Dips----------------4 x failure
Tricep extension-----4 x 10

Legs:
Squats------------4 sets w/ reps of 6-4-2-1
Leg Extension------4 x 10
Leg Curls----------4 x 10
Lounges-----------4 x 8 (each leg) using dumbells
Ab exercise

Shoulder/biceps:
Shoulder Press-----4 sets w/ reps of 8-6-4-2
Pull ups------------4 x failure
Bent over row------4 x 10
Bicep curls---------4 x 10
Upright row--------4 x 10

Legs:
Deadlifts---------4 sets w/ reps of 6-4-2-1
Leg Press---------4 x 8
Good mornings----4 x 10
Calf raises--------4 x failure
Ab exercise

I tend to workout in the mornings, so my afternoon are typically free for cardio. I cut back on running, but I'd like to maybe add in yoga for stretching (I'm very bad about stretching in general) and do sprints. How often & what type of sprint workout would be good to supplement with this?

Anyone have suggestions for the best type of fan to put in a garage gym during summer workouts? I'm thinking one that can cool the air versus just blowing would be best, but if anyone has specific recommendations I'd appreciate it.

Not sure what your goals are. But attempting a PR on the same lift
week after week will lead to an injury. If you're really new you can get away with it. But eventually you
will stall. Your CNS and soft tissue won't be able to keep up and your performance will sink. I train for strength only, aesthetics be damned, and never PR the same lift (excluding contests) more than once in 24 weeks.

Max Effort Upper Body Day

ME Lift: Incline bench press in sets of 3 until they become difficult, then singles until a 1RM was achieved
doing no less than 3 single reps in the 90th% of the 1RM

Supplemental to help the ME: the French Press 4x5 (fifth rep is difficult but not impossible "positive failure")

Accessory to help the Supp: 1 arm lateral French Press 3x12-15 (burn it out, it should hurt)

GPP 1: hammer strength shoulder press 3x10

GPP 2: Wide/Bench Grip Face Pulls 4xexhaustion

Classic Westside.

Am I missing something? I didn'tget the idea he was doi nga 1 rep max, oI thought the 6-4-2-1 was all at the same weight. In other words start with a weight you can barely get 6 times, than do descending sets at that weight. Notsay ing you are wrong, but that was my interpretation. JP?

Sets to failure are maxes. And come on, ego always dictates that you hit that single at or above
what you previously have.

What JP posted is neither body building or powerlifting. Train both, be good at neither. If you go to failure heavy with the same lifts (especially the big three or Olympic lifts) you WILL STALL or GET HURT.

Your CNS cannot take it. You'll literally fry your brain and your muscles will not perform.

Is their anyway to help your CNS recover other than just rest? I have been feeling wrecked in the gym on back to back days of lifting lately and I figured it was my caloric deficit but I figure the CNS has something to do with it too. I am not pulling singles or anything, will typically hit the big lifts 3x8 slight bump up in weight and do 2x5. Accessory work is lighter and typically 3x8 or 3x12. Overall volume is pretty low, I don't have any delusions of building muscle on a cut but I do want to get my strength back some post injury so I hit the big lifts hard when I do them.

If it continues to be an issue I am just going to go every other day, MTHF just works better for my schedule.

Four days is a great split. CNS taxation is usually from training to limits (1RM or failure). If I had to guess,
you're probably just fatigued from lack of calorie intake when you're not in ketosis.

Eleusis has it right when he talks about submaximal training for hypertrophy, bodybuilding style. You can do this indefinitely and keep size gain (provided adequate protein input).

You can also make strength gains indefinitely by training the different strength functions and not repeating the same lifts...maximal strength, dynamic strength, repetition strength, speed strength, etc.

Ultimately, I'm seeking to increase strength. I've significantly cut down on running several times a week, and that's really helped to give me rest for workouts. 6-4-2-1 is what I started doing when I worked out with my brother (works at a hospital-connected gym). I made decent gains doing that type of workout for the core exercises (though we did alternate with 3x6 or 8 every other week, or every 2 weeks). Before that, I had started working out regularly with my gf, but we didn't really have a set program we followed (just alternated days between upper & lower body). Admittedly, I did hit a plateau with that 6-4-2-1 workout, but that 1R isn't typically the max (more like around 90% or so). Once we hit every rep, the next time we would just up the weight & keep doing that. I have also made sure to perform exercises properly, getting guidance from the trainers at my brother's gym.

I moved in the last year and have resumed working out with my gf again. I motivate her & she motivates me, but it's hard to try and max out on bench with her spotting me. We've changed up our routine several times, but haven't found something to really stick to---hence why I posted our latest routine for some constructive guidance. We tend to lift in the mornings and we only have about an hour or so to do our typical 5 exercises (afternoons are generally reserved for light cardio, sports, etc).

Again, 6-4-2-1 is something I have resumed within the last 2 weeks & I'm not maxing out on that last rep. I admit that I could use a much better routine, but I understand how to perform the exercises I do properly to minimize injury. I'll certainly cut my workout short if something doesn't feel right. And if my "6-4-2-1" core exercise routine is bad, I am wholeheartedly open to any other set/rep variations that can increase strength.

Is this what you do on your max out days? What does GPP mean?

I did have my annual wellness screening at work, and apparently I can talk to someone through my health insurance to possibly design a new workout plan---so I may eventually go that route.

^^yes, that is what a "max out" day for me would look like. But I attempt a 3rm or 1rm every week for legs and then later in the week for upper body.

I follow the westside routine (conjugate method) for geared lifters. The template is all over the interwebs so if you want to find it, it's easy to find.

I also work out my back three days a week in separate, 20 minute lifting sessions. Two days are devoted to rows, 1 day to pull-up style work. Since they are 20 minutes, max, they are not too taxing.

GPP is general physical preparedness. Just helps increase a muscles ability to do work over a long period. Louie Simmons, father of the westside philosophy, swears that 45 minutes is the perfect length for a pure strength training session.
