Are you really that petty?
5/31/2012 4:22:28 PM
We all know the answer to that question.
5/31/2012 4:40:33 PM
Hadn't thought about this before, but what if Barnes had made ALL more shots per game . He would have been quite the formidable opponent
5/31/2012 5:05:59 PM
he would've been the video Bo of basketball. I'd take him every time over Jammer or Legs
5/31/2012 6:39:09 PM
What if staats battle made 60 3 pointers a game???
5/31/2012 7:08:07 PM
How have I not seen this until now?
6/1/2012 10:11:02 AM
^ that is hilarious
6/1/2012 10:32:05 AM
that was great. UNDERSIZED CENTER
6/1/2012 10:41:51 AM
hahaha.Tyrus Thomas looks mildly retarded in his quick appearance.
6/1/2012 10:54:26 AM
SUCH BROAD SHOULDERS
6/1/2012 10:59:00 AM
That's the funniest shit I've seen all day.
6/2/2012 7:06:11 PM
6/2/2012 9:23:38 PM
i thought the same thing when i saw that article
6/2/2012 10:07:12 PM
^^?
6/4/2012 9:57:42 AM
that Bobcats hat showed up briefly in the NBA.com team store last week, its since been removedthey're apparently working on new colors, basically de-emphasizing the orange...but currently the Bobcats are the only team in the NBA.com team store without a 2012 Draft Hat
6/4/2012 12:31:27 PM
so their sales on nba.com has decreased from 0/day to 0/day
6/4/2012 12:56:01 PM
Between the Cam Newton effect and the Facebook groups, I'd wager that Charlotte Hornets gear is selling 3x as much as Bobcats gear right now.
6/4/2012 1:38:57 PM
The charlotte hornets probably sell 3x the number of season tickets as the bobcats as well.Granted that's only like 24 tickets, but still.
6/4/2012 2:20:55 PM
I'm sure Hornets gear has been outselling Bobcats stuff well before any facebook groups. You can thank streetwear hipsters & sneaker heads for that.
6/4/2012 2:23:54 PM
And also the fact that the bobcats suck a fat one.
6/4/2012 2:26:09 PM
Man, if we could just get the Hornets name back, Jordan would become competent.
6/4/2012 2:39:21 PM
they asked on one of the radio shows earlier "Would you rather have Anthony Davis or The Hornets name back" and the large majority of people who emailed in said the Hornets name
6/4/2012 3:10:46 PM
way to not have that conversation when at least one of those options was obtainable.
6/4/2012 3:35:15 PM
fuck it, trade the #2 pick to NO for the Hornets name.
6/4/2012 3:37:18 PM
^
6/4/2012 4:53:44 PM
new Hornets owner already said he plans to change their namethat said, wouldn't put it past Higgins to sell low
6/4/2012 7:14:00 PM
knowing the Bobcats, they'll offer New Orleans a free tshirt for the team name

Have fun watching Chalmers, Cole, Jones, Haslem, and Anthony
6/6/2012 5:56:33 PM
6/6/2012 5:56:38 PM
they were gonna do that last year but the lockout ended it
6/6/2012 7:04:43 PM
Gottfried: "Yeah, coach K won a gold medal for the USA with those NBA superstars, but see that bench over there? Lebron actually sat on it. How would you like to run with the pack."[Edited on June 6, 2012 at 8:46 PM. Reason : you did a great job and I like your shoes]
6/6/2012 8:46:05 PM
Brace yourselves.Unsatisfied with the #2 pick and a proven stud like MKG, the Bobcats appear to be actiely seeking to trade the #2 pick.So far we've had some real stellar offers.Cleveland is offering the #4 and #24 pick. I can see the logic here. MJ gives up a 19 year old stud for the opportunity to take a likely bust like Barnes at #4 and the next Ajinca at #24.He's also working on a home run deal with Memphis that would involve swapping the #2 pick for Rudy Gay. I can see why Memphis likes the deal, they get rid of Gay and acquire the #2 draft pick. But I'm not sure what we'd receive in return.Rudy Gay if you're familiar with him is an above average player who makes as much as Lebron and we decided we didn't want 5 years ago when we took Adam Morrison over him.Have we learned NOTHING from the Richardson for B. Wright trade? Don't take the overpaid veteran over the young potential star, like...ever?I'm having trouble figuring out why we swapped Gerald Wallace and Tyson Chandler for nothing to "re-build" if our re-building plan consists of trading the #2 overall pick for a guy who isn't even close to being on the same level as those two guys.
6/9/2012 2:44:33 PM
honestly, trading down to 4 could be great.it won't be because MJ calls the shots and the pick would obviously be barnes, but it could be a great building block for the franchise. there isn't some huge disparity in the talent that will be available at 2 compared to 4, and adding another pick would be great.but yes, this is how the bobcats will draft 2 UNC players in the first round. GO BARNES/ZELLER DREAM TEAM!
6/9/2012 4:22:37 PM
face, you know why i think you are awesome? (and am ashamed for ever being a dick on the internet to you)sometimes I really get on a run of weeks where I think you are completely serious, and aren't actually just here for trololololol, and then BAM out of nowhere I get the joy of the "young potential star" Brandan Wright. you are truly a maestro. here's to you.[Edited on June 9, 2012 at 4:25 PM. Reason : sorry used quotes on something you didn't explicitly say. i suck.][Edited on June 9, 2012 at 4:26 PM. Reason : and another typo. i pale in comparison to your magnificence.]
6/9/2012 4:24:41 PM
Not sure if you missed the season, but brandan wright was terrific this year. He's one of the best young big men in the league this year and he will command ~$10MM per season once he hits free agency.
6/11/2012 6:21:05 PM
you'd think if he was so terrific he'd play more than 15 minutes a game
6/11/2012 6:33:18 PM
I assume $10MM is 10 micro-million dollars
6/11/2012 6:37:33 PM
6/11/2012 6:47:12 PM
MM stands for million, not a finance guy I presume. He didn't plan a ton of minutes because dirk is a fan favorite, but he's already playing at a star level. He will get the big bucks undoubtedly
6/11/2012 7:58:43 PM
well he only signed a one year contract, so we'll see soon enoughbut I think your bonkers
6/11/2012 8:17:23 PM
Per 48 minutes he averaged:21ppg, 11 reb, 1 ast, 1.2 stl, 4 blk, 1.2 to, on 61% fg. He's not quite dwight Howard but he's certainly an elite young big man just entering his prime years.
6/11/2012 9:43:17 PM
Dennis Horner averaged 12 rebounds per 48 minutesapparently he's an elite rebounder
6/11/2012 9:47:23 PM
^ too small of a sample size to be meaningful.
6/11/2012 10:22:25 PM
Horner has the skills to be a 15ppg/5 rbg three or stretch four in the right system. The Nets simply didn't utilize his strengths. Avery Johnson insisted on using him as a banger, where he routinely got mauled by players 30 pounds heavier. He needs to spot up in the corner or on the wing where he can knock down a 3 or pump fake and drive for a dunk. Put him on Phoenix, Denver, San Antonio, a few flowing system like that, and he's a better defending Steve Novak.

So is it gonna be Sloan, Shaw or Snyder?http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/8039897/sources-jerry-sloan-brian-shaw-quin-snyder-finalists-charlotte-bobcats-coaching-job
6/12/2012 12:09:55 PM
Shaw would be such a letdown from that list of 3. Sloan for the coaching factor, and Quin for the lols.]
6/12/2012 12:13:33 PM
lol at quinn snyder
6/12/2012 12:14:59 PM
$100 it's Quin Snyder
