nothing for this game, but on Friday, I saw a post about the 2009 team... said it wasn't fair that other teams had to play UNC/that UNC had to play other colleges because they were too good to play other schools....

A great team? Undoubtedly. But too good for their own league? Ha. They lost to BC... at home (that was an OK BC team that year, but c'mon)... 4 losses. Not too good.

I'm friends with a fair amount of Carolina grads. I know far more that didn't attend, however.

I can count on 2 fingers the Duke grads I know.

The ones who babble on about UNC or Duke the most are the ones who never went to either one. I personally do not care at all if college sports even exist or not, but I hate it when Carolina plays because the beach music station in Whiteville plays every game and I'd rather hear music, and people on Facebook act like it's as important as the Second Coming. Oh, and don't forget the liberal use of the Victorian "we." I had no idea that so many of the people I know actually played on the teams. The graduates from those schools are much more subdued in their comments.
