I did a 60 minute aquatic blast class today. It was very difficult!!!I need to check all my measurements and check back.

im on the road this week & im killing iti did my smoothie for breakfast, sashimi for lunch & jimmy johns (whole grain bread & no mayo) for dinner. i also managed to do day 3 of insanity in my hotel room. im feeling awesome that i can keep it up while away from home!i took some photobooth pics of my stomach, sides & back today. i also made sure to grab at the flab so i can see exactly where i started visually (i also have actual measurements)insanity is pretty hard but i look forward to doing it. i like doing it right after work before dinner. it amps me up and makes me only crave good food!my next goal is to integrate the insanity meal plans into my diet & see how much i can do
6/2/2010 8:01:51 PM
how much did you end up paying for Insanity? i need something to do when the weather isnt ideal for running.
6/2/2010 8:18:08 PM
It's called a torrent.
6/2/2010 8:20:49 PM
then someone be my friend and send it to me por favor
6/2/2010 8:22:44 PM
i have never been able to get a torrent to work. [Edited on June 2, 2010 at 8:27 PM. Reason : and i just ate a whole avocado ]
6/2/2010 8:24:16 PM
i think i paid around $85 for it shipped from a seller on amazonit came in the beach body box and everything was wrapped & in the box. i bought it from a seller named marina201 and looking on amazon now, i see that a lot more "used" sellers have shown up.
6/2/2010 8:44:10 PM
so i just ate a whole avocado and 2 tomatoes with just salt. i used about 1/3 of a grinder container of sea salt. and this is not unusual. eat that one. [Edited on June 2, 2010 at 9:04 PM. Reason : ahahahaha sea salt. SEA SALT.]
6/2/2010 8:51:35 PM

^^ever try the potassium chloride salt substitutes? they're almost as salty and really help meet ones RDV for potassium....i use it exclusively now, no salt in the house unless the food item was preseasoned, and i don't eat many processed foods anymore
6/2/2010 9:59:01 PM
hmmm really?i really use a lot of it though...is there a danger in getting too much potassium (i mean i know too much is really, really bad, but my question is-with as much as i use is there a legitimate worry?)where can i get it? i may have to start substituting at least little
6/2/2010 10:05:15 PM
perhaps, i'm not sure the UL on sodium, but its like 3500mg K vs 2400mg Na RDV, i just sprinkle it on, can't say I ever bloat from water though, I'm just too big to see any differences, I just keep potassium high and sodium low as IIRC potassium helps push water out and sodium retains wateri get em at any grocery, brand names like Nu-Salt or Morton's Salt Substitute found with the spices, usually near the salts in a small corner, its like finding the pizza sauce in the spaghetti sauce section
6/2/2010 10:37:55 PM
Sure can be hard some days to get the calories up while eating cleanly, and without protein powder in the house.
6/2/2010 11:13:29 PM
still didn't reach my calories, even with a rest day...alot better with the sugar though
6/2/2010 11:51:49 PM
6/2/2010 11:59:07 PM
I ran my fastest mile last night... 9:11 (I know that is turtle pace for some of yall, but for me it's a big deal )
6/3/2010 8:05:08 AM
I hate you people who get to eat 3,000 calories per day. Macros were a bit off yesterday. Also, I'm switching back to a pescetarian diet ... went off the wagon for a bit due to low iron, but now I'm on supplements. If anyone has good vegetarian or pescetarian recipes, hit me up.^ Well done, Sam! [Edited on June 3, 2010 at 8:26 AM. Reason : .]

^ Unless I eat avocado or nuts during the day, my fat intake is pretty low. I'm lactose intolerant. The only meat I eat is fish. And I rarely use mayo, butter and oil.Would rather have a higher fat intake and lower sugar intake, but oh wells.
6/3/2010 9:33:20 AM
You can eat 3000 calories a day, as long as you burn 2000 of those off in workouts
6/3/2010 9:46:22 AM
ive decided to increase my cals again.im aiming for 1800.lets see how this pans out
6/3/2010 7:25:58 PM
Remember kids, it's conservation of energy: Calories in Vs. Calories out
6/3/2010 7:49:13 PM
not quite that simple, but for most situations that will work
6/3/2010 7:52:40 PM
^^yes. basically. in normal situations i've gained weight but lost size by increasing cals. im trying to stop being skinny fat [Edited on June 3, 2010 at 7:56 PM. Reason : packman's got my back ]
6/3/2010 7:54:37 PM
1800 is admittedly more than i've been eating for the past week...been hitting 1200-1500 on a PSMFclean eating here in bulk here!
6/3/2010 7:59:00 PM
^tsk tsk and ok... so this picture that i posted a while back i realized i lied....first pic i'm about 130ish, right now i'm about 144ishit was a gain of almost fourteen pounds not 8 like i originally thought (the wii let me know >.<, i apparently i thought i was a lot heavier than i actually was last year)[Edited on June 3, 2010 at 8:06 PM. Joie in a totally non-creepy way, you look a million times better in the second picture. That is a perfect example of why weight is a horrible indicator of physical fitness. You almost look emaciated at 130 lbs.
6/3/2010 9:10:50 PM
The color in the first picture makes her look malnourished too.

Joie: Not trying to be too much of a creeper but I like the way your bewbies look in both pictures.

6/3/2010 10:24:30 PM
I got ready to run today and tired out really fast. I ate a sandwich that was a good 400 calories before my workout, I don't really get it. Some days I can a good bit and others I tire out fairly quickly, despite similar/nearly identical eating patterns both days. I don't get it.

6/4/2010 1:00:18 AM
6/4/2010 7:46:26 AM
ha ya'll are ridiculous ^^^how often are you working out and what are you doing?are you only running and is it every day?maybe you should rest moer?(i honestly do not know what the answer is....i'm just throwing stuff out there )
6/4/2010 7:56:35 AM
too late to edit my copy of punchmonk - i'm not a creeper

still trying to get in my calories, so I've been eating 7 small meals 'round the clockbreakfast and a big lunch..so far, +2 lbs., but I'm not worried at this pointit's hard to get in 3800 calories on workout days without eating crap
6/4/2010 9:32:12 AM
^there's two chicken biscuits in the break room with your name on them.
6/4/2010 9:43:57 AM
I'm good, so fartrying to keep bread to a minimum, although I do eat a little of it
6/4/2010 9:46:28 AM
^^It's always nice to hear others bitching about eating 3500ish calories. So many people just assume it is such an easy thing to do. One day , sure. Three days, sure. 3 months, ehhhh.
6/4/2010 9:47:30 AM
I'm definitely not bitching, just saying it seems really counterproductive to eat so much when my goal is to lose size
6/4/2010 10:05:32 AM
what exactly is the logic behind that?
6/4/2010 10:11:33 AM
I wish I could explain it so that it made sense to both of us
6/4/2010 10:15:15 AM
I understand your thinking and I fall to that a lot of the time. H8R is thinking: If I eat all this damn food I'm going to get fat, not lose weight like I want to.
6/4/2010 10:43:09 AM
how is that not going to happen?
6/4/2010 10:47:48 AM
