bradley and klestjan are nonexistent. el salvador would be killed right now if we would play out wide. hejduk is constantly open on the right. ching cant pass. donovan doesnt seem to care. dempsey hasnt really done anything. the only reason i knew beasley was playing because he lofted a corner in 80 yards up in the air so i was like wtf to that. ummm, guzan hasnt had anything to do, not his fault on the goal i guess, couldnt tell how close it was to him. califf being in the game and showing how fragile we are in the back is quite apparent. i honestly forgot who is at the left back right now...im not sure if we have a right winger, and if we do who the fudge is it? hejduk???

begin again. its pretty obvious going down the middle is not going to work. go out wide, throw some crosses in. my god ching is supposed to be a target man, let the guy get some headers, hes terrible at holding the ball up and looking to make a pass. at worst we can get crosses blocked and maybe win some corners. were pretty good at set pieces out wide. dempsey is a really good header of the ball. also, needs more jozy PLZ

I'm not a fan of him but I think you're a little too harsh on Ching. I mean, if you're going to hate on guys, get pissed at our "stars" like:

- Donovan, who fucking disappears for 20-30 minutes at a time
- Dempsey had one of the worst games I've seen him play in a while
- Beasley was absolutely horrible... get mad at Heydude all you want for that 2nd goal, which I was too, but Beasley got freaking schooled before the cross
- Kljestan couldn't even connect a pass, did you see how much better we were when Torres came in?
- Bocanegra (who I'm usually a defender of), our defensive leader and captain who was supposed to lead that shitty ass defensive lineup we put out there had the worst game of the 4 defenders

It just pisses me off that all those guys start every game but you can clearly see the difference with Altidore/Torres when they come off the bench. And for whatever you think about Adu, at least when he's in the game, you know he's in the game because he's constantly on and around the ball, which is more than you can say about Donovan.

Brian Ching is fucking Brian Ching. Nobody thinks of him as world class before the game, so why should we disappointed after the game when he doesn't produce world class results?

I don't agree with his tactics but Bradley puts him in there to do the heavy lifting, holding the ball up for possession, battling for 50/50 balls and in the air, so guys around him - Donovan, Dempsey, Kljestan, etc. - can win the games for us. So basically, he does the job Bradley asks of him very well. I think he puts in a hell of an effort and he was very instrumental in setting up the first goal.
That's why I'm more critical of players like Donovan and Dempsey... who are obviously our best players, but they don't always do the job that's asked of them. And that's why I hate Eddie Johnson - he's supposed to score us goals and he never did.

Again, let me re-emphasize that I'm not a fan of Ching and I definitely agree if he's in our starting XI next summer, we're in big trouble. That's why I have a problem with Bradley - yeah we win games and we'll qualify but it seems so freaking short-sighted to play these guys every game. I mean, why are we playing Pearce and Califf when there's no freaking way they'll even sniff a roster spot in South Africa? What about Demerit, Wynne, Spector... those guys actually might. Freddy Adu has done nothing but ball for US teams... who gives a damn how he's playing in Europe, that guy should be given a chance to show what he can do for this team.

well i dont understand why we play a system that has a lone striker up top...we are better than that. why not play jozy and ching at the same time. i think when we have friendles against swedens of the world, thats the perfect time to try that out...not play the exact same system with younger more inexperienced players.

ive seen enough now to know that we are going nowhere with bradley..and imo a step backwards from arena. i mean we were pretty much robbed from being in the semi-finals of the world cup in 2002 and now look where we are. we have to come from behind to beat el salvador 2-2. unless we get a ridiculously favorable draw in the world cup, we will be knocked out in the first round. im also concerned that maybe these players arent getting motivated or something. im not sure.. id love to play for my country and would play my heart out. either some of these stars dont care for bradleys system, or they have some big ego problems. but we really should be at a point now where el salvador is like an andorra or faroe islands to us. i dont care if its a road game, the pitch looked great out there, we play in hostile crowds in america all the time (sadly)...there is just no excuse to be coming from behind 2-0 to a country six times smaller than north carolina...

I guess that's an option but Donovan really makes that difficult - he's not really a forward, not a box-to-box midfielder, and a defensive liability on the wing. But I guess that goes back to another problem I have with Bradley. If a 1-striker formation is the best formation for our player pool, then so be it. We KNOW what we're going to get with a 4-5-1 and Ching up top... we have no idea what we'll get with a 4-3-1-2 or whatever. That's why I was really disappointed we didn't get a coach who wouldn't be afraid to completely change our system and not be afraid to bench guys who don't deserve automatic starts (coughBeasleycough) and would actually give younger players a chance in meaningful games (coughAducough).
