^^^It looked to me like his watch was broken and there was a crack on the face of it. I think that the purpose of showing the watch wasn't to show the time, but so a connection can be made later between a character and the man who killed Mohinder's father^^As of now she was a simple character that was introduced for one show and then killed off, so I don't think the girl's "super photographic memory" is supposed to be a power like the other heros. It seemed to be put in to show that the changes that are taking place are not neccessarily great leaps in evilution, but may be more subtle, and more wide spread than a just few scattered individuals. The heros extrodinary abilities could very well be the exception rather than the norm. Then again, if Hiro is able to save her, her abilities could be greater than we are led to believe. What I thought was interesting was that she said she just started remembering everything only a week before, yet Sylar was already aware of her "power" and knew where to find her.

It appears that Mohinder's little sister, who died when he was 2, can visit him in his dreams. I'm not sure if it's his sister or Mohinder that's causing him to be able to see things like his father's death, but Mohinder may actually have a power that involves manipulating dreams.Did you all notice that in the picture of Hiro with the waitress that he looked unhappy? Clearly he teleported to the past but couldn't figure out how to get out. What gets me is that the picture shows up on the wall while the police are still there investigating her death. Does that mean that Hiro failed? There's so many different plot lines going on...this is going to be just like Lost in that if you don't watch it from the first episode, you can pretty much forget about understanding the series.

maybe that's why peter has to save the cheerleader..... b/c hiro failed
11/15/2006 11:19:38 AM
No no, I'm talking about the waitress...Hiro failed to save the waitress because his azn friend was still in the diner and nothing had changed except there was a picture of Hiro with the waitress. Hiro does help in saving the cheerleader, though...he's in the painting with the bloody homecoming banner.

^^^^The watch is not just significant to show who killed Suresh. The Watch is exactly at 7 till 12. So the time is very significant and it's tie in to the solar eclipse is very significant.I wonder if the watch stopped when he killed Suresh???? ^It could be possible (according to other theories) that Hiro wasn't supposed to go back in time and the reason he's not back in the diner is like someone said "He's in an alternate universe" and thus that could be ninja Hiro that saved cake girl and that's why Peter has to save the cheerleader. ::breathes:: So basically we just witnessed Hiro's fuck up?[Edited on November 15, 2006 at 11:44 AM. or a limitation to what he can actually do
11/15/2006 12:06:40 PM
OR he's about to walk in with diner girl at any moment like nothing happenedOR he's gonna propel himself into the future from the past to the exact place and time he needs to be to save the cheerleaderOR [Edited on November 15, 2006 at 12:22 PM. Reason : i love this show!!!!!!!!!!!!! ]

11/15/2006 12:32:02 PM

11/15/2006 12:37:51 PM
Mohinder's "friend" who offered him that jobis pretty fucking hot.I'd kama sutra the dogshit out of her.
11/15/2006 12:55:30 PM

11/15/2006 1:25:04 PM

Yeah we saw it first in the second episode I believe. Shit's everywhere!oh and Thank GOD we took a break from Nikki/DL. shit was getting old
11/15/2006 1:30:56 PM
^^No, the kid with the soccer ball was Mohinder's dead sister.
11/15/2006 1:43:26 PM
I definitely thought that was a guy
11/15/2006 1:44:28 PM
Gotta drop in here and correct a few things.
11/15/2006 1:49:16 PM
11/15/2006 1:51:39 PM
the kid with the soccer ball was also much older than 5...Mohinder's mom definitely said that she was 5 when she died and died two years after Mohinder was bornand the kid with the ball was a boyand didn't have the same name as the dead sister

11/15/2006 2:01:41 PM
Yes, I think he is Sylar. I'm just not 100% sure, but all signs point to it being Sylar.Maybe the Haitian and Mr. Bennet were "Activating Evolution" for Radioactive Ted?[Edited on November 15, 2006 at 2:04 PM. Reason : ]

uh, yeah...definitely a boy and not mohinders sister. the character is listed on imdb as sanjog iyer played by actor javin reid

Yea, I thought the child's name was on the folder Mohinder found under the desk drawer, and I don't remember Suresh being a part of it. I will recheck tonight. The graphic novel for the week was kind of a letdown. [Edited on November 15, 2006 at 2:11 PM. Reason : ]

This week's episode was great. I like the Nikki/Jessica/DL/Micah plot line but it was good to take a break from it this week. Nathan and Peter can stay on the sidelines as far as I'm concerned. More hit TV shows should be aired on Mondays.

Maybe the kid is Mohinder as a child.... maybe it's himself helping him along the way in his dreams.
11/15/2006 3:13:43 PM
^I was thinking the same thing until he they showed the name on the folder...then again, he could be adopted like claire but never told.

This sounds waaaay too picky but there's a sign behind Charlie(mind girl) and Hiro that's not in the picture behind just her alone. K Whatever. The whole Solar Eclipse Idea was just throwing it out there because someone mentioned it. But the TIME is diffenently imporatant. I like the idea just above this post ^ .[Edited on November 15, 2006 at 4:38 PM. Reason : n]

very very nice!helps to have pictures

Last post for now. This show makes me giddy.Maybe Sylar/Watch Guy whatever breaks his watch when he hits Peter in the head with it and thus gives him a scar!!!! hahaIf anyone else wants more pictures from this episode tell me before I delete it.
11/15/2006 4:50:12 PM
cool pics...the first one shows pretty clearly that his watch has a crack in it and is broken, which could explain why it always shows the same time. I was pretty sure I had seen a crack when it was right against the window when he killed Mohinder's father, which is why I felt it was used more as a unique item to identify him when the creators don't want to show his face. The idea that it is the time he is supposed to kill claire is interesting, but has the time been shown elsewhere to indicate that it has some such significance? Also, any chance you can get captures of the two different pictures on the back of Suresh's book? The change was probably just a casting move, but with other significant pictures changing, and time being altered, it could be significant.[Edited on November 15, 2006 at 4:58 PM. Reason : yup]

^Well the episode was called 7 minutes till midnight. That's why I'm so all about it. I can't get those screens because i don'thave the first 7 episodes anymore.

11/15/2006 5:54:04 PM
well, the episode was named 7 minutes to midnight so obviously its importantit coincides with the doomsday clock and represents mans destruction by nuclear warsee more here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doomsday_Clock

^ and ^^^ thanks, didn't realize that it was the title of the episode ^^ cool...there is a really good shot of the old one during the beginning montage of the episode where claire starts in the morgue. just thought it was interesting...has the current actor always been listed as Mohinder's dad?

Ugh I wanna know how to screen cap from my .avis!
11/15/2006 7:01:49 PM
turn off video acceleration and printscreen like usualbut anyways, i think this was a casting snafu, nothing more
11/15/2006 8:17:52 PM
Maybe it shows that there's been at least two different printings of the book?Maybe an updated one with a foreword by Dr. Bostian?

Rewatched Monday's episode and saw something I didn't catch the first timewhen Bennet is telling eden to use her power, she resists at first. Then he said, "You're the easy way, and we both know the hard way" (when referring to making Issac naturally use his power)I think this strongly ties Bennet's group in with Mohinder's Dad's book "Activating Evolution".I don't think they are fully causing the powers, but they are helping to accelerate it to a natural level (parkman could barely pick out thoughts, and now he hears everyone; ted didn't notice much of a problem till he was captured)...bah, but I just realized they never got to Nathan and he seems to be doing fine with his power...ah hell, who knows
