What's more important is if we have extended offers to Victor Davila and Ty Walker for 2008? Does Lowe know something we don't about his players? Is he expecting a few to leave or transfer? 1/10/2007 8:59:55 PM

1/10/2007 9:57:01 PM
^^^Wouldn't Johnson still be a junior that year?Man look at the talent and possibilities if these freshmen next year live up to hype. V Haha even Im not right. He can play next year after 1st semester then?[Edited on January 10, 2007 at 10:04 PM. Reason : V]
1/10/2007 10:00:32 PM
he'll be a rs soph that year
1/10/2007 10:04:06 PM
If toast leaves we can offer Ty Walkerthat would be ideal.
1/10/2007 10:28:53 PM
who is toast?
1/11/2007 11:14:21 AM
Try not to be so "cool" next time that no one fucking knows what you mean.
1/11/2007 11:26:52 AM
i guess he's talking about lewandowski?i dunno though
1/11/2007 12:29:12 PM
does brwoski even sit on the bench anymore? i keep looking for his tall goofy ass but cant see him
1/11/2007 1:25:54 PM
you fucking faggotin that pre-season article that interviewed players and asked them their favorite nickname on the team....half of them responded with "Toast" for Bartoz. Nobody's trying to be cool. At least not me.
1/11/2007 1:29:11 PM
yeah but that's like referring to braxton albritton as "cheese doodle" or some shitnobody knows what their fucking nicknames are
1/11/2007 1:31:10 PM
BarTOZ....TOAST....you figured it out yourself...its not like calling braxton "Cheese Doodle", and its not like I made it up myself, it was printed by the media.
1/11/2007 1:37:06 PM
but you said toast because you wanted to sound like a smarty pants
1/11/2007 2:30:12 PM
HAY GUYZ DID YOU HEAR CHEESE DOODLE MIGHT GET SOME PLAYING TIME??
1/11/2007 2:33:05 PM
I heard "Ricky-ticky-tavy" was going to come back next game and start! But why don't they play "brown M&Ms" more?Bobblehead needs to recognize!
1/11/2007 2:35:05 PM
bartoz and toast look NOTHING alike. they have 2 letters that are the same. how could you possibly think that anybody could derive toast from bartoz
1/11/2007 2:35:35 PM
the only reason i knew who he was talking about is because he's probably the only player that may leave
1/11/2007 2:37:02 PM
lol, oh you guys
1/11/2007 2:37:59 PM
why does it matter which pituitary cases come to our school to not earn a degree, eat at case dining hall, and lose every meaningful game?

YOU FUCKING IDIOTS DONT KNOW OUR PLAYERS NICKNAMESFUCK YOU GUYS IM SO ANGRY

And we're still in the hunt for Jai Lucas.
2/19/2007 3:44:18 PM
gonna be a ton of guards if we go for all thesethis guy is a 3 star but making noisenot a terribly great list of schools, Utah being the best i would assume reallykind of an interesting thing
2/19/2007 4:39:11 PM
^^^, ^^where the hell are these scholarships coming from? Bartosz? Grant getting deported?
2/19/2007 5:49:21 PM
I'm just as confused as you.....unless he's offering a one-year scholarship to him or something, I have no clue where the scholarship is coming from to recruit either of those guys[Edited on February 19, 2007 at 8:32 PM. Reason : .]
2/19/2007 8:32:12 PM
probably expecting tracy smith to not qualifyI find it hard to believe he is going to make bartoz in to a game player, though. seems like adam simons part deux
2/19/2007 8:35:16 PM
The chance of everyone making it all the way to 08-09 is very slim. We still have one available scholarship for 07-08, even if Tracy Smith qualifies. The staff may know something that we don't.[Edited on February 19, 2007 at 8:57 PM. Reason : a]
2/19/2007 8:57:26 PM
Maybe Hickson is set on being a one-and-done player.
2/19/2007 8:59:47 PM
if i had to guess, i'd guess that they're thinking between bartosz transferring, grant either trying to go pro or being deported, tracy smith not qualifying, jj hickson going pro, brandon costner going pro, cj williams or julius mays decommitting or anyone else transferring they'll have a spot open by then.
2/19/2007 9:06:04 PM
b-cost don't go pro!
2/19/2007 10:24:29 PM
Costner wont go pro for awhilehe is still really really raw when it comes to inside offensive footworkhes rebounding and three shot is amazing at this level, but he needs to stay and keep working with SidBen Wallace said Sid was the reason he liked Detroit...if he can make Ben Wallace that good of an rebounder, imagine what he can do with CostnerI see Bart leaving, Grant going pro and Smith...thats debatable for sure whether he will qualify
2/19/2007 10:54:55 PM
grant is nowhere near good enough to go pro
2/19/2007 11:03:21 PM
JJ Hickson probably isn't one and done either. He's going to be a 2nd Cedric Simmons. Very very raw and will probably not tear it up as a freshman... but there's no doubt the kids' potential is through the roof (like Simmons). I remember when we got Simmons and Brackman. I said Brackman would contribute early moreso than Simmons, but SImmons would later be our star. Well...same instance. Hickson is very, very, raw from what I've heard and seen. I'm afraid if everyone expects him to tear shit up as a freshman based on his 'top 10 recruit' ranking you'll all be dissapointed.... much like many of you were with Simmons (For the record, he is a little further along than Simmons... just has a lot of things to work on before being a major contributor in college....at least from what I've seen)As far as these players we're recruiting, this is damage control. If you coach a team you always prepare for the worst. IMO, we're doing this just in case something happens. I think everything mentioned above is very legit, but the most likely to happen is Lewandowski transfers[Edited on February 19, 2007 at 11:17 PM. Reason : ]

raw pussy, raw meat, stop with the raw
2/19/2007 11:12:24 PM
grant may not be good enough to go pro but with his pending immigration, it may be his only hope
2/19/2007 11:15:53 PM
yeah but he's married and a dad.
2/19/2007 11:33:51 PM
2/19/2007 11:38:33 PM
For some reason, i found the captions in that video hilarious
2/20/2007 12:02:34 AM
yea, i saw that video a while back...I think Hickson could definitley make an early impact here, more so than Simmons anyway
2/20/2007 12:08:45 AM
ah shit son
2/20/2007 12:09:41 AM
he's got those high calf muscles
2/20/2007 12:10:21 AM
Simmons was VERY VERY VERY VERY raw coming out of HS. He still is, which is why you don't see him getting many minutes in the league. He got by in HS by being able to just man handle anyone in his way. Ced never showed the ability to really step out and hit the jumper. Im sure he hit a few in his time here, but the only one that i can really remember is the one from the top of the key against Duke last year. From what i've heard, JJ is one of the more polished senior big men for the 07 class. We'll see how he comes in and meshes with Costner and McCauley down low.
2/20/2007 2:00:07 AM
I really like what Hickinson said in one of the videos during a post game interview. He said "Coach Lowe has won championships in both leagues and knows what it takes to be in the NBA. That's all I need."It's good to hear that from a big time recruit. Hopefully there will be many more to come. And Hickinson looks fucking ridiculous in all those tapes. I'm looking forward to the McCauley-C/PF , Hickinson-C/PF, and Costner-SF combination. I hope they'll all be in the starting lineup by sometime early in the season. ^It's Hickson but I forgive b/c it's a decent comment. I am excited about the fact that he and McCauley can split post playing time (C) and Costner can learn how to be a good PF.
2/20/2007 11:19:39 AM
grant is nowhere near goodamerican enough to go pro have a choice
