^well at least we found out that Ava was dead...something has to come of thse two. I was pissed that it was Quentin cause we predicted that when he became the new doctor, but at least they did a good job distracting you and making you think it was someone else. I have to admit the fact that Kit was in on it got me...so that was good.

ya i bet they leave some of the loose ends loose, they have done that all season, ended the show with something that needed to be resolved and then never resolved it.and maybe the baby isn't actually sean's again. could they find that out that way?

Maybe that was someone else I was thinking of. Who was the dead body they found in her house early in season 3? Fuck, it was her son wasnt it (or whoever that kid was). Damnit its been so long I forgot.eh, I wouldnt say I was eating it up charlie. I kept being sucked in then each episode would piss me off at some point. I probably wont even watch another season of the show. There was too much bullshit in this season, and the final episode was no different. [Edited on December 22, 2005 at 12:46 AM. Reason : ]

that's the trend with too many tv shows nowadaysthe feed you just enough to make you keep watching...no matter how horrible it may be

Sad thing is, Nip/tuck actually has some good story lines and it usually keeps you guessing. This season was just too drawn out with mushy horse shit. Like WTF was with that bitch Sean tried to marry/screw with her kid in the witness protection program. Thats the type of shit that makes people stop watching. The carver storyline was just so good this season that it kept you in, even during that horrible spell of 3 or 4 episodes. then they even fucked it up at the endpeace out nip/tuck

I'll keep watching Nip/Tuck because it's so unique, and I enjoyed the finale, but I was expecting more. I'm not sure what I was expecting... just more.

Ok. It isn't. I just watched season 3. And I kind of hate it now. Don't get me wrong. Nip/tuck does me right in all the ways that a show should. (Should I have put it in those words? Probably not, but a season marathon of this show kind of gets you like that.) The show has greatness in it. It has superb character work. Great melodrama that anyone would look at and wish he could have been a part of. It has a metaphor that it can use and use wisely. It has stories to tell. Also, don't get me wrong. I have no problem with Quentin being the carver. Deep down, I knew Quentin was the carver. His introduction was just too perfect. But, I wanted to believe...nay, I was pretty convinced that for all of season 3 that Liz would have been the carver. (Trust me, it makes a lot of sense.) I thought: "OK. They want me to think it's Quentin, but really? Liz!) Then, even when they finally drop it that Quentin is the carver, I was totally cool with it. It was handled well. But then (and there is always a "but then" when things go for the worse) they tried to sell me that Kit was involved and it was some big grand scheme. I totally could not buy it. Not even in Nip/tuck-land, where people don't want their legs, women grow together with sofas, and there is a strange misplacement of male appendages. This is the worse case of over-writing, of trying to keep something having possibility just because they have to. The whole three-season arc is fantastic, until they try to make sure their is a fourth. I'd be much more susceptible to the end of a big story, and wait to see where they could possibly start a second. I'm kind of pissed. That could be because I am kind of drunk, or because, after three seasons of a show totally earning my love, it was blown by overwriting (perhaps, overtelling) a story. Not sure if I can forgive it. But, at the some time, kind of curious as to how the writers will handle a fourth season. So, I guess, in the long run, they still win. The bastards.[Edited on February 26, 2006 at 3:24 AM.
