wasn't the microwave weapon some type of military prototype? meant to deplete the enemy's water source? If so, they probably designed it so it wouldn't vaporize humans, or they would never be able to use it anyway. If they didn't think about that, then it is the same as developing a machine gun that shoots you at the same time you shoot someone else, pointless.[Edited on June 28, 2005 at 10:14 AM. 6/28/2005 1:37:32 PM
microwaves reflect back and forth between the metal of the water pipes?since people arent' made of metal the microwaves just pass through them without reflecting back and forth inside the people?did i just make that up?

It could be that the microwave emitter is directional, ie it only shoots microwaves down at the ground, and that's why the water pipes start bursting without everybody going POP!. If there was somebody standing directly beneath the emitter as it went by, though, then yeah I would imagine that they'd blow up like a ballpark hotdog.Still, wouldn't it have been simpler to just microwave everybody than to spend all this time sneaking in a hallucinogen, putting it in the city's water supply, then vaporizing the water to make a weaponized aerosol that would make people go crazy? Or is the point of the League of Shadows to not make it look like mass homicide, but to make it look like that the city simply collapsed under its own weight?[Edited on June 28, 2005 at 5:08 PM. I would definitely love to see Mark Hamill as the Joker. I suspect I'm in the minority, though.
8/11/2005 1:01:18 PM
^He's got the voice down pat at least.I'd like to see Crispin Glover. If not, Guy Pierce would be ok.

That's so B.S. In every Batman-Superman fight, Batman has smoked that chump.
8/11/2005 5:08:26 PM
I don't want this to turn into a Superman vs. Batman thread, but I would think that all Batman would have to do is coat his suit in kryptonite and Superman couldn't even touch him.
8/11/2005 5:09:37 PM
^gotta suprise the chump and then get busy with a hatchet and some bubblegum

see dark knight returns Batman beats the shit out of superman.

Or... Superman could just stand out of range and blast him with his laser eyes. I seriously doubt the Bat suit is laser proof. LOL.

Batman has a kryptonite ring in the batcave.Superman gave it to him so that he could use it if superman ever got out of control or something...to stop him.it was in the comics.
