i think black and brown together works sometimes. you have to be careful.
9/2/2010 4:00:32 PM
I do black and brown ALL THE TIME! I really don't care that I am fashionably inept. [Edited on September 2, 2010 at 4:06 PM. Reason : yeah, that blazer is $texas to me. Not gonna buy. ]
9/2/2010 4:02:54 PM
i do too. well not all the time, but it happens in the fall a lot. i think that black and brown up there looks cute. if it were a darker brown, perhaps not.
9/2/2010 4:05:51 PM
H&M always has super cute blazers like a quarter of that price
9/2/2010 4:07:39 PM
My next purchase is gonna be a 25 lb and 30 lb kettlebell, not clothes.
9/2/2010 4:09:25 PM
last minute opinions? i think i'm about to buy it
9/2/2010 6:26:27 PM
I personally think it'll look great on you.. and I like that color combo
9/2/2010 6:38:05 PM
some of the reviews have been unfavorable... such as the material feeling cheap. but it's SO cute i kind of just want to see for myself. ugh... one of the reasons i hate shopping online.
9/2/2010 6:39:58 PM
thinking about this one too while i'm at ithmmm... decisions decisions
9/2/2010 7:34:45 PM
I'd tell you to get that one because its beautiful and would look great on you but it's sold out
9/2/2010 7:39:53 PM
I LIKE THE RED!!!!!!!and the ^ sold out one.I love the yellow, toobut i am in LOVEEEEEE with the red!
9/2/2010 7:40:43 PM
i'm not sure that ^^grey one would look good on me. it just doesn't seem like it would look good on my body type. i'm going to think about the other 2 for a day maybe. i really like them but i'm just worried they aren't going to fit well. but the return policy is pretty simple and i'd only be out the $7 shipping.
9/2/2010 7:45:40 PM
i think both the red and the yellow cuts would look good on your body type.i like both colors a lot though so it would be hard to choose!
9/2/2010 8:06:43 PM
just do it ModCloth is awesome for returns or any issuesI left a bad review about the zipper on my flower dress... how awesome the dress was except for that stupid zipper and how I was going to replace itthey offered for me to return it for a full refund or give me an extra 15% discount if I kept it and replaced the zipper
9/2/2010 8:14:09 PM
damn i might as well just do it. i want to wear them while the weather is still warm.sam - where'd you get the zipper replaced?[Edited on September 2, 2010 at 8:15 PM. Reason : ]

ugh my face is soooo broken out right now and i almost NEVER have break outs. i might get one zit there if i have a break out but now i have like 6. it doesn't really coincide with anything hormonal so what is it from? stress? food? i don't even know. my diet hasn't changed. i am guessing stress. i washed all my pillowcases today just incase and i've been washing my face with the medicated wash and using the medicated facepads after.ahhhh. how can i clear this shit upppp?? it is so fugly and awful and they are the ouchy kind of zits.
9/2/2010 9:10:52 PM
^^ Meg let me know how those dresses work. I've ordered from Modcloth before and the dresses always look great online, but either fit weird or are a thin fabric.
9/2/2010 9:13:16 PM
will do. i'm hoping they fit well and aren't shitty quality. from the reviews i read the website can be a little hit/miss as far as the clothing goes.^^i swear by proactiv. it's a little expensive (for me) and the customer service is kind of shitty but it has done a lot for me. if you don't need it all the time check out their website and see if there is anything for sporadic breakouts
9/2/2010 9:16:23 PM
Eric's mom is an awesome seamstress so she fixed it for me... it was a hidden zipper and was too close to the fabric and straight up broke the first time I wore itshe fixed it, now I wear it all the time it's the one in my FB profile pic

it's after Labor Day, so put away the white shoesand pants/shorts/etc if you're hardcore about it like me]
9/7/2010 12:00:34 AM
i bought an eyelash curler from sephora its a travel one that folds, not one of those metal ones that looks like a torture deviceand i pinched my eyelid in it the other day. thankfully not bruising but my eye started watering like crazy right awaythis is my new thing. every 2-3 years i pick up a new girly habit. 3 years ago i started wearing eyeliner.
9/7/2010 12:16:40 AM
eyelash curlers scare the bejesus out of methis thread inspires me to work out so I'll have a nice figure to wear these clothes you guys are always postingbut I guess for my wallet's sake, it's kind of good that I don't.
9/7/2010 12:21:06 AM
^^^ i like white in winter now. winter white. i guess it is more of an off white. i also think white pants are ok depending on the material (obviously no linen or seersucker). there are even white cord blazers that are cute.^^ i have never been one for curling eye lashes. i've never noticed a difference doing it (for myself anyway). do you notice a difference? i go through phases with eye liner. mostly because it is a pain and i am not very makeup savvy. maybe if i knew how to do it like the models haha.[Edited on September 7, 2010 at 12:22 AM. Reason : .]
9/7/2010 12:22:31 AM
I agree, winter white =/= summer white but for the record I was specifically talking about summery-white garments and SHOES
9/7/2010 12:24:51 AM
yea shoes are a biggiei have never liked white shoes (except for some white sandals), so i never have that problem but yea, agreed. byebye seersucker, white sundresses, linen pants, etc.
9/7/2010 12:25:46 AM
your hate for white shoes cracks me up.. but I agree
9/7/2010 12:26:09 AM
meh, i wear whatever wheneveri hear i have horrible fashion sense, though
9/7/2010 12:27:13 AM
i think i'm more careful about fabric and style of clothing than colorbut when it stays in the 80s sometimes through the end of october, i think there is a little more leeway. even though the south is the one that perpetuates the labor day white rule, lol.
9/7/2010 12:29:50 AM
Is it acceptable to wear seersucker after labor day?I feel yes...at least til 9/21...after is questionableWhat say you tww fashionistas??
9/7/2010 7:53:01 AM
Do you live in NC? There's no reason for us in the South to follow rules made up by New Yorkers. Like khcadwal says, if it's still 88 degrees out, you can wear seersucker! ]
9/7/2010 7:55:37 AM
Indeed--in NC And it's a blazer, sooooooo yeah Thank you fashionista nerdchick

I may be hated for thisbut I think stockings with shorts is one of the tackiest things ever [Edited on September 7, 2010 at 10:39 AM. Reason : .]
9/7/2010 10:39:15 AM
I agree with you, I think tights and shorts look funny together. ]
9/7/2010 10:40:19 AM
I love tights, boots, with skirts/dresses/shorts
9/7/2010 10:43:57 AM
I don't really like shorts being dressed up in general. To me pairing shorts with heels or stockings or whatever just seems weird. But maybe that's just because I can't pull it off.
9/7/2010 10:49:31 AM
^what she said
9/7/2010 11:07:16 AM
^2 Yeah I completely agree.... I only did heels + shorts once and never again because I realized halfway through the night it wasn't as cute as I thought I mainly realized this when I saw myself in the bathroom mirror and was drunk - alcohol = truth serum
9/7/2010 11:08:17 AM
i need to take photos of this and post here to find out if i can do this or not
