i love how all this shit from china is getting recalled now a days
6/28/2007 4:31:41 PM
ha ha I have been ring shopping twice... Thats a lot of fun actually... And I am pretty happy that the ring that I "put together" is actually under 5K ....
6/28/2007 4:31:45 PM
bullshit days. can't wait till tues and dc and haven to clear my head.
6/28/2007 4:33:55 PM
well I hope whoever you marry agrees with everything you want, or else when you do actually get married it's gonna be a let down.
6/28/2007 4:34:49 PM
meh most guys don't really care.. They leave wedding planning to the women.. Pretty much I can get what I want if I ask at the right times... like when he's playing video games ...
6/28/2007 4:38:41 PM
Most guys agree with anything in a wedding as long as they don't have to run around with you to pick out everything. I'm not gonna pick out a ring, because I want it to be a BIG surprise.
6/28/2007 4:40:10 PM
DROP DOWN AND GET YA EAGLE ON!!
6/28/2007 4:40:13 PM
I don't have all this wedding stuff figured out, but my mom does and that's good for me. And btw, people are CRAZY today. I think the moon has something to do w/ it.
6/28/2007 4:40:40 PM
I do not want a wedding ceremony. Civil service + one hell of a party.
6/28/2007 4:44:26 PM
I could settle for a small service with a huge reception with an open bar...but my bf and his family would never go for that. But I sure as heck aint gonna have a wedding as expensive as his sister's! But I still want a church wedding, flowers, the dress, all that stuff...[Edited on June 28, 2007 at 4:51 PM. Reason : ]

bf is in agreement with me It's my mother and I butting heads. To be fair, when she says 'you owe me', she's got more of a case than most mothers...but seriously. There are better uses for that time and cash. I've warned her that if my grandfather dies before we get married (he's a pastor), we're having a civil ceremony, and there's nothing she can do about it.But it's entered my mind recently that I might be able to sway poppops to my way of thinking
6/28/2007 4:55:26 PM
Baby why don't you stay...
6/28/2007 4:59:26 PM
I can't believe I'm already coming up on a year with Sprint. this time in the contract with cingular, i was already counting down.
6/28/2007 5:13:43 PM

6/28/2007 5:19:40 PM
I really wish I had the money for a personal chef. Or at least a broad worth bangin that could cook me dinner every night. I don't have the drive to cook lately.

I don't understand why girls pick out rings or how they know that they are getting engaged, etc etc...I want to be completely surprised when someone asks me to marry them......Anywho, I had a Nacho Bell Grande/soft chicken taco combo from Taco Bell... wayyyyyyyy too much food for a value meal.. How can anyone finish this stuff?
6/28/2007 7:06:39 PM
6/28/2007 7:07:27 PM
It's whatever for anyone else...but I just want it to be a surprise If you have an absolute trust in someone and you know that you are going to be with this person forever...then what does the ring matter? and what's the big rush in getting married?...
6/28/2007 7:12:11 PM
i guess i didn't read it that carefullyyeah, i think they dude should pick out a ring on his ownbut there should be an understanding in place, that you all are "going to get married"it shouldn't come out of nowhere[Edited on June 28, 2007 at 7:23 PM. Reason : .]

I mean, I have known expectations. I want it to be bigger than his sister-in-laws, but prettier than his sisters. I want it to be one that he designs, not something I may see on someone elses hand someday. With those guidelines, I'll get what I want to wear.[Edited on June 28, 2007 at 7:59 PM. Reason : ]
6/28/2007 7:57:48 PM
What's the point in all of that though? It's a small token compared to the happy marriage that you guys will give each other for the rest of your lives...Materialistic are we? What would happen if he bought you a totally different ring? Would you wear it or return it?
6/28/2007 8:35:07 PM
Coming from the person who just said
6/28/2007 8:36:59 PM
No, I'm not trying to be mean at all... I'm just trying to understand...It's something that has always baffled me..
6/28/2007 8:39:36 PM
Well to answer your question, if he got me something different, thats fine...thats better than saying 'I want this ring from this place at this cost'....I want him to have lots of leeway, and I just want something pretty!I think I see where the question is...you don't know how big I am meaning. I guess you don't understand if you can't see his sister in laws! I dont mean like 2 carats or something like that! Nothing huge![Edited on June 28, 2007 at 8:44 PM. Reason : ]
6/28/2007 8:43:35 PM
maybe you should buy him a ring
6/28/2007 8:45:04 PM

6/28/2007 9:14:05 PM
hope cody is ok
6/28/2007 9:14:37 PM
^^I agree with you. Too many girls these days want to get married just to have the marriage, they kinda forget that it's a rest of the life thing. I think it's stupid to get married young. If you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, what is the harm in waiting a few more years.
6/28/2007 9:18:01 PM
^^ still no news on him eh?
6/28/2007 9:22:25 PM
nope.
6/28/2007 9:22:55 PM
that fucking sucks. seriously. i can't imagine not having some kind of closure for something like that. but the more time that passes, the more i'm inclined to believe he's alive somewhere because he's freaking nowhere to be seen.
6/28/2007 9:25:51 PM
yea. i had a dog run away a loooong time ago. it was torture. it did show up weeks later though, so you just cant give up hope.

^^^^I should have been more specific! It's ok to talk about marriage and where your relationship is going to go in the future, etc etc etc...but what I was heading torwards in my opinion is that I would like to be surprised, because I'm extremely annoyed by girls that beg their boyfriends for a ring...stuff like that![Edited on June 28, 2007 at 10:02 PM. I thought Nicholas Cage was only in the fake trailer before Grindhouse? I'll look that up.
6/28/2007 10:05:17 PM
He was. But that was the best part of the movie.

Hurry up lights out! I want Trish to come and visit tonight and 10:30 needs to get here so I can have my free time away from my campers!
6/28/2007 10:07:57 PM
Consider yourself lucky to have internet access at camp!
6/28/2007 10:09:14 PM
I'm not at camp...we are doing a road camp at Lenior Rhyne College. So I brought my computer on the off chance of there being wireless and there was. It's a nice break to use technology for a week.
6/28/2007 10:10:10 PM
