I like to use colors like black, because it says, "I'm a whore!"hahahahah--Eric got me a going-away gift The back of the face is actually an off-white.. the face is probably an inch in diameter, so I especially <3 it because I am blind like a bat and can see it easily

well we all know i love these kimono dresses...i'm trying to decide how i feel about these particular dresses...[Edited on July 13, 2010 at 8:51 AM. Reason : there are more ]
7/13/2010 8:47:04 AM
oh f it...i ordered them all...except the third one because it only comes in small...and that's NEVER happening...they also don't have any of them in my normal size so i'm going to size up to see if that works since is has seemed to with the othersmy guess is they are all actually out of stock and i won't end up getting any of them...because target likes to fool you like that when they have something you've never seen before...i can always return them back if they suck...[Edited on July 13, 2010 at 9:37 AM. I like those dresses
7/13/2010 9:38:07 AM
where did you get them from? they are cute!
7/13/2010 8:03:59 PM
I tried one of those on at Targetit was pretty awful, my boobs are too big for that kind of V neckaside from the fact that the elastic waist hit me at just the wrong place, so I looked preggers or something
7/13/2010 8:29:21 PM
^^target^i already have it in 2894392749823 colors...but they are all solid....haha

the ladies in the "what are you thinking" thread got me thinking...about pedicuresi've never had one (gross/i'm a horrible female)where are good places to get one? and what exactly do they entail? i mean i want MORE than just getting my toenails painted (i could care less about that part). my feet are like really gross from wearing sandals and running.so where in Raleigh is a good place to get one done? and is that all it is - just a regular pedicure? or are there like levels/different types?thanksssss
7/16/2010 2:22:51 PM
I go to The Nail Castle on Creedmoor. It's a reasonable price, they do a great job, and I love their chairs but they soak your feet, scrub them w/ a pumice paddle, massage/scrub from your knee down w/ a salt scrub, file or cut your toenails, trim up the cuticles, then paint that's a basic pedi.additional costs are for nicer scrubs, parrafin treatment, etc.[Edited on July 16, 2010 at 2:42 PM. Basic pedicure entails cutting toenails, filing toenails, scrubbing feet w/ some sort of pumice stone to remove dead skin, cutting cuticles...and painting your toenails of courseEvery nail salon is different on how they have their different levels of pedicures. The basic pedicure should run ~$25 at salons. I go to a place in Crabtree for a "parafin pedicure" where they wrap my feet in hot wax to remove dead skin. That is ~$35.Oh yeah, they also massage your feet and give you a leg massage. [Edited on July 16, 2010 at 2:42 PM. Reason : f]
7/16/2010 2:41:45 PM
Well this is what I am getting ready to get
7/16/2010 2:42:58 PM
This is what I get at Diva Nails in Crabtree
7/16/2010 2:46:51 PM
just a heads up that you may notice all the dead skin/calluses/etc that are removed when you run -- not a reason to not get a pedicure, but i still cringe when they slough off all that stuff i built up as protection from runningi also don't get pedicures very often (and i live in flip-flops year round), so maybe your feet can manage without the calluses if you just keep up with it...
7/16/2010 2:51:34 PM
i haven't had a pedicure in 2 years...i really want one
7/16/2010 3:06:32 PM
I had a pedicure once and didn't really enjoy it. But I do like getting my toenails painted at a nail salon.
7/16/2010 3:17:56 PM
^^^ yea that is true. i've NEVER had one and last time i ran 10 miles i had this callous that turned into a blister because it was rubbing so bad. so i just kinda want that stuff gone for right now. then i guess i'll see what happens after that. and my heels area all gross from sandals/walking barefoot. i never wear shoes. my feet are just gross.this will be a post-bar exam treat!and i kinda want orange toenails for some reason. not pumpkin orange but a pretty orange. hehe
7/16/2010 4:04:49 PM
I like to run/walk barefoot on the beach, so I don't really worry about building them up for my shoes.
7/16/2010 4:48:08 PM
wow went to nordstroms yesterday for their anniversary sale...went a little crazy probably should go through and eliminate some stuff

whatever. if you like it, go with it. it's all about confidence
7/18/2010 4:42:13 PM
If it's the one you posted pics of yourself in - one could only wish they looked that great in dresses.
7/18/2010 9:49:39 PM
is it the ones from target you just got? I saw a friend on friday that was wearing it and it wasn't very flattering on. You have a different body type though
7/18/2010 9:53:16 PM
^^that's the one...and thanks a lot ^yeah...now it makes me think the people that said they looked really good were just being nice and that i've wasted money on something that i look like shit in...i mean...i dress like a hobo a lot but when i dress up i like to think i look fairly nice, not "that doesn't look good on your at all and you shouldn't wear it anymore"
7/19/2010 2:12:38 PM
It's because your mom isn't staring at your boobs or legs.
7/19/2010 2:20:55 PM
oh she also makes it a point to point out to me " i can see your breasts...you should pin that" and "don't you think that's a little too short for you"
7/19/2010 2:27:00 PM
aha... i love when my mom says "i can see your cleavage" GOOD! THAT'S WHAT I'M GOING FOR
7/19/2010 2:30:38 PM
My mom does that all the time too. But my mom is stacked so I always just blame it on her. ^^^^ No problem! I really think it looks good on you!
7/19/2010 3:56:24 PM
is that the same type of dress that you wore to the TWW thing at Bada? If it is, your mom had a moment of insanity because that thing look amazing on you. I told you that and I am not a good bull-shitter. ]
7/19/2010 4:00:22 PM
no...she likes that onethis is an example of said dress...like i said...i have like 10 of them[Edited on July 19, 2010 at 4:11 PM. Reason : sdlfjkl]
7/19/2010 4:08:56 PM
ok...those last ones I bought...the ones with the pattern really don't look good on me at all...they are made out of a different type of material and sewn differently...so they hang differently...at least I can get that money back
7/19/2010 8:41:06 PM
