first boot of CM9 on razr. it's been at least 3 minutes and it's still on the boot splash so we'll see if this was a success or not...[Edited on March 22, 2012 at 7:19 PM. Reason : that would be a negative...let's try again...]

There's actually WiMax in New Bern and Greenville as well in spots. No announcement.
3/22/2012 7:36:10 PM
FINALLY, it took me about 3 times but i got it to finally work. for some reason after i flashed the ROM it unmounted the system so I had to back into CWM and remount it manually.Ended up going with Axiom and it is pretty

oh my eyes red, purple & green
3/23/2012 11:47:16 AM
i might change the red but i like the time in green so it stands out and the purple for battery

On 5/22 I am leaving Verizon. I am gonna miss LTE, but tired of getting raped for the voice usage, the highest share plan they have is 2000 minutes, thats just not enough without any mobile being free...Sprint has 3000 minutes with any mobile any time, and unlimited data. I hear WiMax sucks and most people that have it on their phones leave it turned off because its horrible on battery life, not that much faster, and coverage is spotty.
3/23/2012 11:51:43 AM
I have sprint, and I will say the coverage isn't as good as Verizon or ATT was, but what you get is way better for the money. 4g is spotty, but when I looked at switching over to verizon, I decided I'd just deal with it. I do leave it off most of the time when I'm out and about, but if I know i'm gonna be somewhere in service range, I'll fire it up[Edited on March 24, 2012 at 5:41 PM. Reason : 4g]
3/24/2012 5:39:51 PM
where the fuck is the nexus s 4g official ICS update? i'm tired of this unstable ICS ROM bullshit and this shit should have been out forever ago.

is there anything on the horizon worth upgrading to from my evo 4g? It's almost two years old now, but nothing really strikes me as being that much of an upgrade like it did when I got it.
3/28/2012 11:35:30 PM
^I'm waiting until LTE to use my phone upgrade. I don't see the point in getting one now as though there are some nice updates, I think the better network would help more. That and you can buy a phone on craigslist or ebay for not too much more than the upgrade cost and then can still use it when it comes out.
3/29/2012 8:23:58 AM
waiting on LTE? It's already out
3/29/2012 8:44:24 AM
He's probably talking about Sprint.
3/29/2012 8:51:20 AM
Anyone install 4.0.4 on an unrooted GNex?
3/29/2012 9:00:25 AM
I thought Evo 4g would've been the give away on Sprint. Whoops.
3/29/2012 9:33:13 AM
I don't keep up with who has what phone. Not worth the time.I thought sprint was still lightyears away from having even minimal LTE coverage?

Sprint will have LTE markets this summer. Galaxy Nexus should be out as well. No sense in using an upgrade until that happens.

Has anyone found a call recorder that works on stock, unrooted Droid Xs?

if you haven't done your taxes, yet, and you have a honeycomb or ICS tablet, you can file your taxes for free (federal AND state) using the turbotax app: http://blog.laptopmag.com/you-can-file-your-taxes-for-free-on-turbotax-for-android-over-the-weekendyou have to download and START the return this weekend, but you can finish it up later...i don't think you can import last year's info, though
3/31/2012 6:47:55 PM
android tablets suck right now. google knows this and that's why they are doing their own devices and store to sell them...even android fanboys like me own an iOS device now

Anyone know a workaround to use HBO Go with an HDMI cable? I assumed I'd be able to stream to my phone and display on the TV, but when I plug in the HDMI cable it stops the app and tells me to unplug the cable to proceed. Netflix works fine, so it looks like they just don't want you watching HBO on anything but your phone.I have a Galaxy S2 with a HDMI breakout cable that plugs into the micro-USB charging port.[Edited on April 1, 2012 at 10:53 AM. From what I've research already, it doesn't look too good but.......can you use a Samsung Galaxy S2 on the Verizon network if the phone has already been unlocked? I have a feeling the answer is no considering Verizon works on a CDMA network...Any information on this would be helpful.
