Julius Hodge ROCKS!! I wont get my hopes up about CJ Leslie, however reading the last few posts def. made me smile! Im glad some of possible recruits were there to see us get a 'win' at home, and maybe justtttttt maybe it could be a preview of things to come...

Hodge is my favorite wolfpacker of all time. I love that guy.
3/7/2010 10:34:37 PM
that double block at 1:40 is if we land that guy, we are going to be loling all over the tourney next year.
3/7/2010 10:45:54 PM
Did somebody keep a stat of how many dunks CJL had his senior year? Cause good lord...
3/7/2010 11:09:08 PM
i sense some ultimate ncstate shit incoming. all of this optimism about cj leslie is going to make for a much bigger meltdown when he picks uk.
3/8/2010 7:13:20 AM
that wouldn't be nc state shit. that would just be us not landing a recruit.nc state shit would be if cj signs with us, and then tears his acl right before the season. then he misses the year and goes pro.
3/8/2010 8:51:09 AM
So it is written, so it shall be
3/8/2010 8:58:09 AM
CJL reads this thread: "Damn I don't want to blow out my knee, Kentucky here I come"
3/8/2010 9:45:33 AM
If we get CJ, I will bust a nutt ... Seriously though, it would be the difference between us being mid tier ACC vs Top tier ACC next year.
3/8/2010 9:59:57 AM
well when is the drop dead date for us knowing?
3/8/2010 10:02:40 AM
when school starts in the fall...
3/8/2010 10:04:37 AM
Teh Spring signing period is April 14 to May 19.
3/8/2010 12:17:45 PM
well one thing is for surei know i would hate to go all the way to Kentucky and have to sit behind Patterson and then possibly have to stay in that shit state if there is a NBA lock out
3/8/2010 1:38:28 PM
Patterson is graduating and going to the NBA this year.
3/8/2010 3:19:27 PM
who does WOG play against? jeez he plays against a bunch of short, unathletic kids in his high school gamesAAU and holiday tournament games are obviously quite the opposite, where he still puts up great numbers against 5-star recruits.
3/8/2010 3:24:23 PM
i thought patterson was a junior this yearhttp://www.ukathletics.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/patterson_patrick00.htmlis he graduating or does he still have a "chance" as calapari says [Edited on March 8, 2010 at 3:26 PM. Reason : sdf]
3/8/2010 3:24:53 PM
He's a juniorAnd he's graduating and going to the NBAHe was honored on senior day
3/8/2010 3:27:40 PM
That quote was from last year when he "tested the waters" with MeeksHe is a junior this season
3/8/2010 3:27:44 PM
Would he sit behind Patterson?? I see Leslie as a SF in every sense of the word. Patterson is strictly a low post player.CJ is a player...I don't think he has to worry about playing time anywhere he goes.
3/8/2010 3:28:09 PM
Patty-P is a guaranteed lottery pick. he won't be back, degree or nothttp://www.nbadraft.net/2010mock_drafthttp://www.mynbadraft.com/2010-NBA-Mock-Drafthttp://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2010/http://espn.go.com/nba/lottery2010/mockdraft
3/8/2010 3:29:38 PM
you guys are not helping sway CJL our way with that kind of crazy talk
3/8/2010 3:29:54 PM
i thought CJ Leslie got his IP banned
3/8/2010 3:30:54 PM
Watch Leslie sucks balls John Henson styleFreshman are fickle fucks
3/8/2010 3:31:54 PM
^yea, john wall sucks too.
3/8/2010 3:43:54 PM
so do cousins and favors
3/8/2010 3:45:27 PM
all of the mock drafts for next year have between 44-46 underclassmen getting drafted.that's a lot of talent leaving early, meaning more parity, meaning better chance for Sid to win it all
3/8/2010 3:49:35 PM
yep...he's jumping from a 0.000000000004% chance to a 0.000000000006% chance
3/8/2010 4:03:25 PM
At least that's higher than herbs chances
3/8/2010 5:44:59 PM
by "it all" i mean "anything"
3/8/2010 5:59:47 PM
well he's only 1 ACC win behind herb at the same point in his NCSU career...oh wait, that's not really saying anything.
3/8/2010 8:18:19 PM
the ACC must have been weak as hell back then if that stat is true and Herb made 3 postseason appearances by the end of year 4
3/8/2010 8:30:39 PM
wow dude you are simply astounding
3/8/2010 9:24:25 PM
Hodge was on the David Glenn Show today. On CJL:I think he knows that if he hongry, NC State is the place to eat
3/9/2010 2:11:43 PM
^ yeah just heard that.Seems like he was trying to pull his weight around to help land him! GO HODGE!
3/9/2010 2:19:03 PM
If the NIT selection criteria were the same today, Lowe would have made the post season all but one year in his tenure...
3/9/2010 2:22:38 PM
i hate i missed that interview.

Thanks listening to it now. Damn I miss Hodge!
3/9/2010 9:07:03 PM
He is truly an example of what one truly elite player can do for a program. We just haven't had a player that can take over a game or create his own shot like him since he left. I know Harrow and Brown aren't as highly touted as Hodge was, but if they can at least come close to having that kind of effect we may be back in the NCAA tournament within a year or two.
3/9/2010 9:38:16 PM
what were hodge's recruiting accolades? (serious question)[Edited on March 9, 2010 at 10:01 PM. Reason : what were his rivals and scouts rankings?]
3/9/2010 9:52:47 PM
from wikipedia
3/9/2010 10:00:17 PM
Prep: A 2001 McDonald's All-American - A first-team Parade All-American - New York's Mr. Basketball as a senior - Averaged 21.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists as a senior at St. Raymond's while playing all five positions - Scored 684 points his senior season, a new school record
3/9/2010 10:02:24 PM
damn I love Hodge
3/9/2010 10:13:44 PM
3/9/2010 10:14:40 PM
"what can i say? im kind of a big deal. people know me."an anchorman reference from julius hodge? im loving him more and more every minute
3/9/2010 10:30:09 PM
Hodge is the freakin' man! I loved his passion and it's great to see that love for State and the fans is reciprocated. I hold a tender spot for our alumni who openly and actively support our athletics (Corchiani, Burleson and DT also come to mind), and Hodge is by far my favorite player from the Herb era.
