nominating a climate change denier to head the EPAhe is the absolute worst. fuck him.

LOL @ how leftists treat global warming like its their religion.
12/7/2016 5:12:50 PM
^^if it makes you feel any better the national debt/entitlements will prob destroy the economy way before man made climate change
12/7/2016 5:41:42 PM
Lol at thinking the national debt is an issue. Not even Republicans care about that anymore.
12/7/2016 8:15:58 PM
^i know right. its one of those problems that will get worse if you ignore too.

Trump may choose to stay ignorant but those around him will not. In addition to his own stupid shit, Trump will be doing the stupid shit of whoever has his ear and a gift for flattery.Willful ignorance is not a formula for success.]
12/11/2016 10:53:08 AM
Yeah! It's not like ignoring Presidential daily briefings ever led to anything bad.
12/11/2016 12:30:49 PM
Seems fairly obvious by this point he is only going to listen to his guys and not intelligence or experience. And when those are the likes of Flynn and Bannon that is all sorts of bad.
12/11/2016 6:15:12 PM
If that is all true, imagine being in the military establishment and the person who will make decisions to put your people in harms way isnt listening to your intelligence assets.Unreal
12/12/2016 7:39:29 AM
Anecdotal but the few military people I know were very neutral on Trump but very flabbergasted by his treatment of Russia and the potential danger they pose.Tillerson would just be another brick in the wall. I'm very concerned that he is going to basically ignore intelligence in favor of his guys opinions. I just hope Mattis (who the Democrats should absolutely not fight -- a sound, level-headed leader like him needs to get started ASAP) can neutralize the utter crazy of Flynn.
12/12/2016 8:01:24 AM
Russia is an ethnocentric nationalist plutocracy, its the dream of republicans so no one should be shocked they are okay with being friendly towards their idol
12/12/2016 9:48:19 AM
I think it's pretty irresponsible for the CIA to be leaking Russian motivations for the hacking. The FBI (in this case) is doing it right by assigning blame but without the speculation on motive.
12/12/2016 1:00:34 PM
Idk why we still trust the word of the CIA. Not that I think they're definitely lying in this instance, they just have a long history of exploiting the public. This is exactly how you'd expect things to go down if a political outsider won the presidency. Not a defense of Trump, just a general commentary.Side note: the house just passed a bill that would fund grants/training for journalists to combat whatever the government deems "propaganda". Dystopiaaa[Edited on December 12, 2016 at 1:25 PM. Reason : .]
12/12/2016 1:16:59 PM
But would you take Trump's word over the CIA's? Not a chance in hell. Not to mention the bipartisan support for investigating and releasing data by congress people that have reviewed the evidence.Trump may be a political outsider, but his cabinet isn't really. I doubt the CIA minds the generals and neo-conservatives that much. They're all gung ho on letting intelligence agencies do whatever tha fuq they want. The FBI has already proven to be Trumplandia, even leaking false info regarding Trump/Russia. They'd deep six everything if it were up to them.
12/12/2016 1:26:04 PM
^ Exactly - even the CIA has more credibility than the FBI currently.
12/12/2016 1:36:53 PM
But even the FBI has assigned blame to the hacks on Russia. It makes Trump's recent comments so bizarre.I guess I get it as it could be seen as trying to deligitimize (though he really can't or shouldn't claim a mandate anyway given the popular vote) but it's a bit unsettling that the president-elect is seemingly unworried about a prettt major cyber-attack irrespective of who did it.
12/12/2016 1:39:07 PM
Trump's word vs. the CIA's word is such a muddled concept that it's impossible to pick a side. And bi-partisan support against an outsider is exactly what I'm talking about. If he pushes against lobbying, interventionism, "lost funds", etc, he's a threat to the political establishment. It really makes me wonder how the narrative would have gone if Sanders won the primary.
12/12/2016 1:39:55 PM
Why is anyone surprised by this?
12/12/2016 1:42:19 PM
^^You're still giving Trump way too much credit as an agent of "change." He's not gonna touch lobbying or term limits or anything. Those were lies that he knew people wanted to hear. [Edited on December 12, 2016 at 1:44 PM. Reason : Arrows]
12/12/2016 1:43:42 PM
He already did hit lobbying by making his staff sign anti-lobbying agreements. Unless I missed something?
12/12/2016 1:47:33 PM
It seems like we can't go 3 days without Trump making some absurd tweet or claim. WTF is going on right now...He'll retweet fabricated statistics from neonazis without a thought, but he won't trust what the nation's intelligence agencies have been saying for months now?
12/12/2016 1:59:00 PM
except for the time that his campaign cut off his tweeting permission, when has he been any different?
12/12/2016 2:14:52 PM
Way back in March, I suggested other countries could easily change people's voter registrations with data from security breaches (T-Mobile, Experian, etc). Now that I would love to see investigated. If Russia wanted Trump to win, they would want Sanders eliminated. Why didn't the media/political establishment care back then? Because Sanders was also an outsider.
12/12/2016 2:15:28 PM
12/12/2016 2:19:04 PM
They didn't want Sanders, either, and he almost assuredly would have beaten Trump.[Edited on December 12, 2016 at 2:24 PM. Reason : .]
12/12/2016 2:24:02 PM
you don't know that he would have "almost assuredly" won
12/12/2016 2:25:54 PM
An extremely popular Senator vs. an extremely unpopular billionaire, with polling data to back it up...yeah pretty sure
12/12/2016 2:27:12 PM
This is good apart from the shitty interviewer and the propaganda segment in the middle. Sums up my thoughts, other than voting for the lesser evil. There are reasons to vote third party other than the "both parties are the same" mindset.
12/12/2016 3:56:43 PM
If the old socialist was that popular he would have won the primary, though it was close given the DNC corruption.
12/13/2016 1:45:44 AM
I tried to have that wait and see mentality after the election and be open and the more I see the more I think we just have to find a way to survive the next 4 years without any irreparable damage.

It's actually kind of fascinating that you think the fact that the Clinton Foundation accepted money from foreign nations (it did) in exchange for favors (no evidence yet of this) is bad because of the chance for corruption but are A-OK with Trump's kids running his for profit business in countries around the world while also being highly involved with his actual presidency. One is actually president-elect and you seem not to care at all. Or just trust him for some reason?[Edited on December 13, 2016 at 1:52 PM. Reason : It's so odd mainly because you were OBSESSED with the foundation]
