No, if Hillary wins, it's because she got more delegates than Bernie. Overall, she's had a lot more votes cast for her than Sanders, but because of the current system that awards proportional delegates, it's been a closer contest. Once she wins NY, WI, MD, and PA this conversation will be over.

most of those leads are because they are late races where the machine has convinced people she is the inevitable nominee way too early. it all goes back to those soutehrn primaries all happening early on. if we started with western saturday and western tuesday before super saturday and finished with super tuesday, the narrative could have been more difficult to spin.

It doesnt exactly work both ways. The election was only handed to one candidate. Most of the country doesnt evem know who bernie is yet. Winning close with all of the establishment endorsements on your side is indeed EXTREMELY WEAK

legit question - do you other bernie supporters get pissed whenever Earl opens his mouth and lays down some colossal horseshit like this? do you feel like his tin foil theories detract from your overall argument, or do you embrace what he has to say?[Edited on March 28, 2016 at 3:02 PM. The Bernie supporters (not just in this thread) are about as delusional about his chances to win the primary as they are about the feasibility of his socialist economic agenda.

For those of you interested in a pro-Bernie argument. I will just post articles now since goaliex is wondering if anyone else feels the same sort of bern. It would be silly to put all bernie supporters into one box so have a few reads. I also went to a phone bank event last week and heard a lot more extreme views than the ones I have. Of course, I didn't just start calling those people names but I've heard bernie supporters say things like more people have already voted for bernie than hillary and the un should be called in to monitor the rest of the primaries. http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/03/sanders-campaign-makes-its-case-winning-nomination

a bunch of people being lazy and putting off changing their party alignment until the last minute and then not being able to get it done because the servers couldn't handle it isn't voter fraud. it's bernie babies looking to blame anyone but themselves for their fuckupand 3 or 4 anecdotes doesn't prove systemic fraud, either[Edited on March 29, 2016 at 12:51 PM. it's the natural evolution of a BernieBro. The BernieBros were the ones all up in your face with half a dozen memes a day on facebook. Now, they've evolved in to the people who complain daily about how there is widespread voter fraud. Or that large swaths of the country shouldn't have a voice in selecting the nominee for the party. Or that the order of the primaries were unfairly slanted against the guy they like. The list of "injustices" goes on and on.Sure, they can still bro up, like when Bernie wins Washington State or a bird lands on his podium. But for the most part, they spend their days crying about shit. Hence, Bernie Babies.

The good thing about the rest of the states is they're spread out, plenty of time to campaign and plenty of time for Clinton's favorability ratings to drop furtherI mean damn, she'll be in the 30s next month. Californians aren't as progressive as people think. Lots of NIMBY's and BANANA (build absolutely nothing anywhere near anyone) folk. Also, the Central Valley might as well be Kansas given how redneck and ignorant most folks out there are. People rag on the Bay Area for being super liberal, but it's really not. Most people here love money and are pretty OK with the status quo, myself included.

One of the problems is that everyday people seem to think they would personally lose money under bernies tax plan. Ujustwait just hinted at it but its simply not true unless you make 250k. Once people find that out, they will switch to bernie. Its a shame elections dont start with everyone knowing the facts.
