so will Lady Stoneheart be a plot hole? what about Bran, or Rickon?
6/3/2015 5:01:47 PM
Lady Stoneheart would be a huge plot hole, which is why she will never show up in the show. Bran and Rickon need to be killed off as useless characters imo. But maybe the show will find away to use them, but theres a lot of useless characters in this series, and only 2 seasons left if HBO stays firm with the 7 season plan.
6/3/2015 5:19:58 PM
Nobody watching the show thinks she has control of the dragons. They've snapped at her, ran away, killed sheep, killed children, been chained up, and largely absent. The viewer thinks that Dany is scared of them and its worse now that shes making 2 of them crazy in chains. I mean look how hesitant Dany and Drogon were when Drogon showed up this season.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOWhJsHXpWohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CMHLupNT3Ihttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOX8W9MGjHIjust becausehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73XAaNxAwuoAnd there have been brief lines of dialogue mentioning that she is the mother of dragons and she cant control them. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3036442/Daenerys-Targaryen-t-control-dragons-Game-Thrones-meeting-Tyrion-Lannister-looms.htmlTo be honest, if Dany does manage to ride a dragon away, I expect the audience to me more surprise Drogon let her ride him
6/3/2015 5:20:09 PM
It would be great if Lady Stoneheart shows up and kills Ramsey. HEADS WOULD EXPLODE.
6/3/2015 5:21:39 PM
^^^Bran can see the past through the godswood trees (or will). I hope its a plot device to show important historical events that are relevant to the current characters. Specifically R+L=J. People are married in front of them after all. There are very few ways in which all of this historical context means anything if someone doesn't figure it out somehow. Maesters in Oldtown and Bran seem to be the most viable options. Otherwise, George is screwing with the readers by suggesting so much. Using so much page space to go into specific historical characters with no payoff.^ [Edited on June 3, 2015 at 5:24 PM. Reason : g]

Thanks bro, I just learned 2 plot devices.
6/3/2015 5:30:39 PM
Well, it's speculation.
6/3/2015 6:06:36 PM
Didn't Dany make a comment a few episodes ago along the lines of 'Drogon could be half a world away for all I know'? I think Drogon will show up next episode and Jon will get stabbed just as the season ends. It would be nice if they brought up warging a little bit in the last two episodes to make that a possibility for Jons means of resurrection. Also, I'm becoming convinced that blackjesus is trolling the fuck out of this thread[Edited on June 3, 2015 at 8:57 PM. What cracks me up is all the people in the non book thread who clearly have read the books or read spoilers. Every season its like that.
6/4/2015 11:37:39 AM
hasn't DROD900 already pretended like he didn't read the books in this thread?
6/4/2015 11:42:49 AM
wrong guy. DROD has been pretty forward about reading the books.i can't remember who it was in that thread pretending to have never read a book but would "predict" all the major plot points right before they happened and then claim he had no idea they were going to happen ]
6/4/2015 12:06:05 PM
Now everyone is in that thread just dropping book references as predictions....

Guys this might be a stretch but... I'm pretty sure Jon is going to get stabbed by the little kid, Cersei is going to walk naked and Dany is going to ride a dragon out of the fighting pit. What does everyone think? I mean just a hunch i have.
6/4/2015 10:26:07 PM
hahahaha
6/4/2015 10:49:28 PM
If I were the producers, have a major crazy event this week. So everyone says, 'Welp! Thats it for this season!' Then uppercut them the final episode.

6/7/2015 9:58:49 PM
Apparently Shireen is going to be sacrificed in The Winds of Winter.
6/7/2015 10:15:38 PM
^^^lol drogon in ep9 has been common knowledge for like 6 months, same as there being a big battle in ep8.
6/7/2015 10:29:44 PM
Meh now Dany has total control of her dragon, even gives him voice commands to fly.....I TOLD YOU SO
6/8/2015 7:29:14 AM
you told us, what, exactly? that the lineage of kings that is said to have dragonblood in their veins and controlled the dragons of westeros can control dragons? who would have ever thought such a thing? so episond 10:cersci walks nakedjon gets "killed"stannis lays siege to winterfelltheon escapes with sansawhat else?
6/9/2015 9:26:23 AM
The whole Gladiator/Drogon scene was kind of weak to me. The overall result/implications/gravity of the situation is big...obviously. But the crappy "let me stare at you every time I kill someone", "I'm going to stand over this guy in a battle royale when there is one more guy left behind me", "everyone will just stand here for a few minutes while we watch the woman we're trying to kill have a moment with her pet dragon", "lets all jog around the fighting pit looking for an escape with no direction," etc. And while I thought the CGI of the actual dragon was great...Dany riding on the dragon looked extremely cartoonish. It's like they hit their budget right when she started climbing on top of him and just had to wing it MS Paint style until the end of the episode.Still was a solid episode because of what actually happened...it just pales in comparison to the Hardhome battle of last week. That battle was epic....while the fighting pit scene looked like something I would see on a B-movie I found on Netflix.

^^Arya will probably kill Meryn Trant[Edited on June 9, 2015 at 9:43 AM. Reason : $$$]
6/9/2015 9:42:14 AM
^Not necessarily. She lied to Jaquin (about the "thin" man not being hungry) and he knows it. I feel like it is probably against the "code" or whatever of the faceless man for you to kill someone out of vengeance so I'd think he is gonna stop her somehow. Maybe this is when she goes blind.
6/9/2015 9:46:25 AM
I got lost with all the crazy shits going on. But why is Jorah tries so hard to come back to Dynaerys? Is he in love with her and what to hit that?
6/9/2015 10:08:50 AM
good call. would be interesting if they closed the season with arya waking up blind. but then again, they've never had true cliffhangers
6/9/2015 10:21:59 AM
^^yeah, he's in love with her, and doesn't really have anything else in his life. I think I remember in the books it talks about how she looks sort of like his wife did, and he tried to kiss her at one point.
6/9/2015 10:26:41 AM
I'm just interested to see how they end it with Jon Snow. Obviously Cersei will have her walk of shame moment, something will happen in Winterfell with Sansa...and maybe they'll do something crazy with Dany. But the big moment will be Jon getting shivved by Olly or some Olly/Nightswatch combo. Will they leave it with him bleeding out? Or will they go forward with something Martin has told them with him warging/coming back to life/whatever? If I could read a spoiler of what will happen next week...I'd do it right this fucking minute.
6/9/2015 10:27:24 AM

6/9/2015 11:53:34 AM
I think they can kill him, but they certainly won't bring him back, since that was the primary cliffhanger from the books. I don't think Martin would let them risk spoiling anything from TWOW.
6/9/2015 12:41:53 PM
You mean like Shireen's death?
6/9/2015 12:47:49 PM
^ When is he scheduled to finish the next book? I feel like he'll never get them out, so who gives a shit if the tv show spoils the whole damn thing. Fuck that fat fuck.
6/9/2015 12:48:03 PM
SUPPOSEDLY the book will come out in 2016. But, I won't count on that until I see it
6/9/2015 1:01:26 PM
I thought it already dropped that it wouldn't be out in 2016.
6/9/2015 2:19:20 PM
I think the publisher said late last year that it wouldn't be out in 2015, but GRRM has been saying recently that he wanted to have it out before the next season of the show starts. 6/9/2015 4:43:35 PM
So efficient
6/9/2015 7:38:27 PM
So how are they going to do Shireen's death in the books?
6/9/2015 10:48:48 PM
25 pages of lead up, and boom she roasts..obviously.I look forward to another 400 pages of Dorne horseshit. "You are the most beautiful woman in the world"...whooo he wasn't lying
6/9/2015 11:24:37 PM
