Allowing RW to transfer to Wisconsin was one of the single most poorest decisions made by the NC State athletic program. Its obvious now in hindsight, but the numbers Wilson historically put up against ACC competition shouldn't be overlooked. Now he has the popularity and accolades he can talk shit and make rewrite the story, but sadly the winners in history are the ones who get their story told. The loser no matter the situation of the circumstance rarely have their story told.

ehh...i know you're talking about the difference it would make from a publicity standpoint. but RW being here vs MG as the QB probably wouldn't have been more than 1 game difference, really. maybe we are slightly better but we still wouldn't have been more than a 8 win team. TOB still woulda been fired the following season when Pete Thomas (or whoever would've been QB then, because Glennon was gonna leave) shat himself all over the field. and we'd be basically where we're at now. what's the tangible difference, honestly? maybe some people think TOB is a redneck who told RW to go fuck himself...but whether or not they think that, we're still in the same position in 2016 as we would've been otherwise.

Was Wisconsin a winner? Conference champs, sure. But they also won the conference championship game the next year without him, and had won a share of the title the year before they had him (when there wasn't a championship game). Worth mentioning that they lost all 3 Rose Bowls in those years, so he wasn't any better than the other guys they used.

We would not have had a conference championship with him and it would not have changed our team course.

I recall him riding the pine, being in a position rotation but never doing anything spectacular.
