Geez lost Fred Jackson last week, and Randall Cobb gets hurt the 1st time he touches the ball tonight.

Some guy keeps trying to get me to trade him russell wilson. First it was cutler and lance moore for wilson and marshawn lynch. I laughed out loud at that. Now it's cutler for wilson straight up.

I would do it, but I hate cutler, plus he got him in a bullshit trade that involved him getting cutler, a starting rb and a starting wr for matt ryan, a kicker and jahvid best. I refuse to trade with him on principle.

Plus my qb is brees and I really don't need a backup.

^ that's a pretty freaking good deal. I like Stewart slightly more than Alfred, and obviously Peyton has a lot more value than Stephen Hill.

Schaub and Peyton are both huge injury risks, so having both is good insurance. Also it enables you to play some matchups each week. I really like that deal.

Alfred Morris looked pretty crappy last week to be honest. I don't expect him to end the season in the top 25 RB's. That being said I did pick him up with my #1 waiver spot in one league just in case he continues to get a ton of carries. But the Saints defense stinks, he doesn't catch passes, he runs straight into the line every play, he doesn't break tackles, and Shannahan rotates RB's a lot. He was a 6th round pick for a reason. Not to mention if he gets 25+ carries every week he's a big risk to wear down or get injured. I'd rather take a proven talent like Stewart on what should be a very good running team (last week had to be a fluke, right?). Besides Deangelo is fairly washed up so it's not a stretch to think Stewart should assume the #1 RB role when healthy.

Stewart is more proven than Morris, but Stewart is just as big of an injury risk

No way anyone would give you RGIII.

Peyton mayyyybe but i wouldn't trade Peyton for Vick.

Vick is probably going to look really terrible vs Baltimore this week so you better move fast. If the Browns made Vick look bad the Ravens are going to get downright nasty.

Last week Cleveland rushed 4 the whole game and dropped 7 back. Ravens will get after him a LOT more than that.

dude offered me pettigrew/charles for jimmy graham

pettigrew is league average, at best and a TE of comparable value could be found on the waiver wire so the deal really boils to jamaal charles for jimmy graham, which i won't do

but if i could get donald brown and jamaal charles for jimmy graham (and nab martellus bennet from the waiver wire), would i be selling myself short?

With Mendenhall practicing fully now, would you drop David Wilson for him (not to use this week, but for rest of the year)?

So I did not watch the game last night. Why did Forte only get 7 carries vs. Bush's 14 or so? Did he get hurt or was he just that ineffective?

LOL at Cutler. Call out the Packers secondary and then throw 4 picks. Rivers was probably laughing his ass off last night watching that performance.

I'd wait a week or two to see who comes out on top and who gets the redzone carries. You might want to end up dropping them both if it looks 50/50.

Damn it, Aaron Rodgers is probably gonna cost me this week. He only got half of the points projected.

Meanwhile I'm facing the GB defense, which got 2.5x projected

Someone in my league proposed trade with me:
I get Jason Witten he gets BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

I am leaning no because I feel pretty strong at TE now- but what are your thoughts?
I have:
Vernon Davis and Kyle Rudolph at TE
RBs I have Ray Rice, Jamaal Charles, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, and Willis McGahee

Any suggestions for my flex spot? (WRs are Dez Bryant, Percy Harvin, Santonio Holmes, Heyward-Bay and Sidney Rice(who did not practice)).

i think you are underestimating pettigrew as he is better than league average.

when stafford doesn't have a shit game he is top 10.

that said, i don't know what you RB situation is so it's hard to say if you should take that.
i think charles will be fine this year and i plan on starting him every week.

Pettigrew will be a top 10 TE if Stafford stays healthy. He had 83 receptions last year.

Yeah I like Pettigrew. He had 10 week 1 targets, tied for 2nd most among TEs. He's definitely no Graham or Gronk, but he's a top 10 TE in my opinion.

right, and if you can get charles and him for graham, i would seriously consider it.

you aren't going to get a TE like pettigrew off waivers unless you play in a 3 person league.

I never usually do this, but what the heck

i'm in a 12 man ppr league (.5pts per reception, 1 pt per 10 yds) where one of my two rb spots is down to:

K. Smith @ SF
S. Greene @ PIT
D. Brown vs MIN
A. Morris @ STL

I went with the heavy WR approach in my draft and ended up with Megatron, Julio Jones, and Brandon Marshall, my other RB is sproles, so i figured with the tons of middling RBs this year that I'd have to hit the jackpot on one.

QB: Matt Ryan
WR: Megatron
WR: Julio Jones
RB: Sproles
RB: ?
TE: Witten or Aaron Hernandez
RB/WR: Marshall (who sucked a D this week)
DEF: OAK
K: Hartley

BN: Witten or Hernandez
BN: K. Smith
BN: S. Greene
BN: A. Morris
BN: D. Brown
BN: D. Amendola
BN: Ravens D

o yea and high points every week makes $100

needless to say I killed it week 1 but my week 2 is not looking so promising

V. Jackson TB vs. NYG
D. Thomas Den vs Atl
R. Wayen Ind vs Min
M. Colston NO vs Car

Obviously Colston is a must start against the hapless Panthers secondary.

I think the same goes for VJax against the Giants porous secondary also even though Freeman/Vjax were way off last week.

Atlanta has a good secondary but it took a big hit with Grimes going down and Atlanta is a high scoring team so there's a good chance that game becomes relatively high scoring.

Minnesota made Blaine Gabbert look good last week and Luck went to Wayne a ton. I'd pick Wayne to start.

Demaryius is a beast, but until he learns to run more precise routes I don't think he'll emerge as Peyton's clear #1 target. I think he's still a season away from being a must start every week.

I get:
Hakeem Nicks
Marshawn Lynch

I give:
Vincent Jackson
Benjarvus Green-Ellis

Lynch scares me....thoughts?

If Skittles stays healthy, he is a top 5 RB.

It's rather or not you want to take the risk really.

Hakeem Nicks was hurt last year...sooooo...you are taking on a lot of risk with that trade with the possibility of high rewards if they stay healthy.

I get BGE, I give Heyward-Bey....good?

^ I would do that.

I accepted the trade, so now my roster is:

QB Philip Rivers
QB Andrew Luck

RB Lesean McCoy
RB Marshawn Lynch
RB Cedric Benson
RB Fred Jackson

WR AJ Green
WR Steve Smith car
WR Hakeem Nicks
WR Malcolm Floyd
WR Kevin Ogletree

TE Jared Cook

So do I drop Ogletree now, and handcuff Lynch with Turbin, or pick up Dwyer since Lynch is such an injury risk?

^Depends, if you want a season long handcuff I would go with Turbin, if you just want somebody to fill in "just in case" until Jackson comes back, I would go with Dwyer.

Vick vs. Baltimore, Flacco @ Philly, or Schaub @ Jax?
