lolol he just cited one of the recent media reports as: "saying i'm in gangs"
9/27/2018 4:02:44 PM
His responses to these beer questions don’t seem truthful to me...
9/27/2018 4:08:08 PM
this guy does not look like a supreme court justice, he seems unhingedthis is not a good look for kavanaughreminds me of stevie janowski shouting at the kids for disrespecting coach powers[Edited on September 27, 2018 at 4:19 PM. Reason : .]

BREAKING- someone has old video of the night of the party that shows he couldn't have assaulted anyone:https://youtu.be/2khylUFQKrk
9/27/2018 4:40:27 PM
You think he’s going to leave DC knowing he leaves behind a potential loss of control of the Senate and not push through a super conservative Justice? If he thought they had enough time to ram Barrett through I could see it but logistically they are short on time.
9/27/2018 4:41:04 PM
It’s nuts Kavanaugh can’t say he’d be part of an fbi investigation
9/27/2018 4:43:17 PM
did he ever respond to the question answering if he gambled and what was up with paying off that $200k debt?
9/27/2018 4:47:28 PM
According to Lindsey Graham, teenage boys are supposed to be rapists.
9/27/2018 4:51:19 PM
any member of the media who reports on graham calling this a sham without reminding people that they never even met with garland is a piece of shit
9/27/2018 4:51:43 PM
lol @ Graham railing about political theater while ranting like that.
9/27/2018 4:53:05 PM
These democrats can’t asked questions for shit

9/27/2018 5:28:48 PM
Lmao Graham brought up bill fucking cosby. Bro you don't want that comparison.....
9/27/2018 5:41:46 PM
I'm laughing at the GOP. They thought they could pull that shit with Obama and not pay for it at some point in the future.Man were they wrong and this shit will turn out way worse for them than the Garland situation turned out for the Dems.[Edited on September 27, 2018 at 6:19 PM. Reason : a]
9/27/2018 6:19:03 PM
Right now it's still looking like he'll be confirmed so how does this turn out bad for the GOP?
9/27/2018 6:21:53 PM
The questioning of Kavanaugh has been extremely weak to me. I don’t watch a lot of these but the democrats are missing a lot of key points
9/27/2018 6:26:42 PM
^^We'll see in the midterms I suppose. Probably more accurate to at least say it's the optics that look way worse more than anything at the moment. Also, someone on Reddit mentioned that the first woman to speak today (Feinstein) was interrupted almost immediately. I thought that was a pretty interesting observation.^I can't think of very many hearings at all where the questioning was good. In nearly all cases, the representatives are asking questions on topics that are beyond their generation and hilariously out of their competency. Even when their experience aligns with the subject matter they aren't looking for anything other than appearances. Hell, most of Gowdy's questioning throughout all of the Russia investigation-related hearings was absurd and he was a damned lawyer.[Edited on September 27, 2018 at 6:38 PM. Reason : A Federal Prosector at that!]
9/27/2018 6:36:24 PM
Apparently Kavanaugh did watch fords testimonyAlso, his classmates are confirming he lied about Devil’s Triangle and boofing, and he was obviously lying about the Renate thing.
9/27/2018 7:52:36 PM
My FB feed is a mess. My Christian conservative relatives are all praising Kavanaugh for being a "man of God" and chosen to "do his work", while my liberal friends are losing their shit and crowing about Ford's testimony being a slam dunk.America in a nutshell, and we are all fucked, because he's definitely getting confirmed.
9/27/2018 8:06:58 PM
Plowing right through this, as McConnell said.
9/27/2018 8:15:40 PM
This whole thing makes me sick.
9/27/2018 8:25:39 PM
Nothing today changed anything
9/27/2018 8:27:29 PM
I mean, I didn't expect it to. I knew what would happen, and it did. It's just sad how broken our country is. This entire spectacle was curated to be a pay-per-view event, and both sides ate it up. Trump totally got what he wanted and he's now more powerful than ever.
9/27/2018 8:30:21 PM
Lol, Manchin is going to be a yes.Good fucking God...
9/27/2018 9:04:27 PM
So I guess the key to getting away with crimes when there’s no physical evidence is to answer every question by insisting you didn’t do anything wrong ever and reciting your resume.
9/27/2018 9:23:21 PM
^, nah you gotta be rich, white, AND male. Otherwise the odds aren't so good.
9/27/2018 9:28:22 PM
As long as you're a white male, yeah.
9/27/2018 9:28:57 PM
Lol. Rich, poor, whatever... they can even get you on tape executing someone with zero just cause. And you can still walk if it works for the system. Some talk of post-truth, but we’re even post-evidence.
9/27/2018 9:49:34 PM
Multiple people will commit suicide this weekend. It's a reflection of me, I know. But I can't imagine having to participate in this awful thing and not desperately wanting to die.Like, the instant Grassley starts speaking, and you realize you actually woke up, took a shower, and put on a suit for this shit...surely, you'd have to start contemplating your options.
9/28/2018 4:55:23 AM
The GOP machine is so fucking good.Pretty much every article is about “the breakdown of the system” and not that we are about to confirm a lying, partisan hack who has a credible allegation of sexual assault levied against him.I’m always amazed at how McConnell can make the media parrot his every whim.
9/28/2018 7:41:04 AM
Allegations aside, Kavanaugh made it clear in his opening statement that he is not non-partisan. I don't care what side of the isle you fall on, you should always want non-partisan judges. Even if they're just acting the part. This guy isn't even hiding it.
9/28/2018 9:21:48 AM
I'm curious if eleusis thinks "Renate Alumnus" means they were friends or if even he is not that dumb and admits Kavanaugh lied
9/28/2018 9:27:39 AM
He’s too busy playing some Devils Triangle right now. Also, Flake is a yes. As if there was ever a question..
9/28/2018 9:31:16 AM
Yeah once I saw the positive press I knew Flake would support
9/28/2018 9:37:57 AM
I’m still in awe that they really pushed this guy through with tons of other generic conservative justices equally as qualified. They have all become the party of “liberal tears.” It’s shocking to me. Of course I’d be against a justice like Barrett just like I was Gorsuch but this is just totally delegitimizing the court. He literally was making Alex Jones like conspiracy commentsYesterday.
9/28/2018 9:55:01 AM
I wish they did a better job of speculating what's really going on and really put it out there for people watching to understand. He would never be guilty in a court of law, they needed to make him look guilty in the court of public opinion. Even if it's obvious, someone needed to say it out loud so that even constituents would know what excuses the Senate is hiding behind and be more informed come November.Kavanaugh likely did what he did. He was young and stupid like most kids that age. It may very well be true that he doesn't even recall that it happened considering his background. It has always been telling that you are the company that you keep. His friends, how they grew up, how they behaved can easily reflected upon his own behavior. Doesn't help that he basically tried to paint himself as a boy scout and choir boy and then had to admit that he wasn't that innocent. Already lying from the get go. Ultimately, he grew up and grounded himself and stopped doing all that stupid crap and is likely living a life that is above board and is a good family man and has earned the reputation he's had since being a more functional member of society. Doesn't dismiss the fact that he made some poor decisions in his past.He knows that he can lie through his teeth even under threat of perjury. He knows that there isn't corroborating evidence and that since this occurred some 35 years ago, there will be no evidence that will find him guilty in said court of law. If admitting he made a mistake means he has basically disqualified himself from being a part the Supreme Court vs lying and still having a chance with little to no likelihood he could be convicted of perjury, it seems an easy decision. He's a judge after all; he knows what he's up against and knows the loopholes out there to save himself. If he was to fail to get the votes, his life isn't over. Look at where he got himself to be a nominee in the first place. That position doesn't go away. He'll be fine, it's not the end of the world, even though he's portrayed himself as some victim that won't be able to find a decent job again.
9/28/2018 10:02:14 AM
9/28/2018 10:41:36 AM
Lindsey Graham doubling down on playing the victim
9/28/2018 10:44:19 AM
9/28/2018 10:45:51 AM
if this guy will lie about drinking in high school he'll absolutely lie about $200k worth of baseball tickets and debt that suddenly disappeared
9/28/2018 11:00:45 AM
Just curious, does anyone here think that there's even the slightest chance that she's got him confused with someone else?
9/28/2018 11:51:31 AM
No, she knew all of them and seems confident and credible
9/28/2018 12:01:15 PM
^^until Kavanaugh cops to his other lies and half truths, I’ll suspect everything else he claims. Why wouldn’t you?
