I don't have a good feeling about this gameand no Masch [Edited on August 23, 2010 at 3:01 PM. Reason : damnit]
8/23/2010 3:00:19 PM
mascherano on strike, that can't be good. they need to just get rid of him.man city is so dumb for starting 3 defensive mids again. this isn't italy, mancini.
8/23/2010 3:01:58 PM
Damn it looks like it would be awesome to be there. They need to turn the announcer mics down and the crowd up.[Edited on August 23, 2010 at 3:03 PM. Reason : f]
8/23/2010 3:02:41 PM
crowd noise sounds underwater
8/23/2010 3:05:12 PM
Liverpool's kits are weird to see without Carlsberg
8/23/2010 3:05:32 PM
torres shouldve left that for kuyt. he had him in on goal. city is so outnumbered in attack, liverpool will really be able to push up if they want.
8/23/2010 3:06:25 PM
stop fouling Adam Johnson, jerksits way too easy for Liverpool in the midfield right now, even with 3 d-mids for City
8/23/2010 3:07:16 PM
torres looks kinda sluggishthat was a crap goal, liverpool's defenders were all standing around[Edited on August 23, 2010 at 3:15 PM. Reason : s]

8/23/2010 4:13:18 PM

8/23/2010 4:17:47 PM
Joe Hart is pissed.
8/23/2010 4:18:06 PM
LOL written on shin pad.
8/23/2010 4:28:36 PM
Liverpool, I am disappoint.
8/23/2010 6:30:46 PM
The Citizens looked like legitimate title contenders tonight. They did a superb job of imitating Barça's "tiki-taka" passing style and having their way with possession in the first half. Liverpool seemed to have more possession and chances after the break. Those chances were all wasted, however, because Joe Hart blocked shots like a six-armed Hindu god in a repeat of last week's performance at Tottenham. We'll find out just how great he is if he can keep clean sheets against the likes of Chelsea and United.
8/23/2010 9:28:16 PM
They might be a legitimate top 4 contender. They had a decent day at home vs a team that will end up mid-table this year after getting thoroughly outplayed by Spurs last week in the draw. That isn't enough to convince me after 2 fixtures. Let's see where they stand in November.I'm thinking Chelsea will end up finishing double digit points ahead of Citeh when it is all said and done.
8/23/2010 9:43:49 PM
To be fair, they did NOT look like title contenders at White Hart Lane. Fortunately, Spurs never took full advantage of our confusion.[Edited on August 23, 2010 at 9:50 PM. Reason : thanks to Hart]
8/23/2010 9:49:51 PM
"Citizens" - wow wee you're just like a proper Citeh fan noweat shit and enjoy it while it lastsand yes, yes I'm mad
8/23/2010 9:50:53 PM
city has a mid-table team that isn't dressing for games, they definitely have top 4 potential. we'll see if all of those egos can handle riding the pine for an entire season.and that shit up there looks like some shit you copy and pasted from a city blog.]
8/23/2010 9:51:05 PM
I can't wait to see how Hart does when he gets hung out to dry 15 times against a good team. Hart is a good keeper, but if City was even close to having a title team, they wouldn't have such a pourous back line.
8/23/2010 9:54:40 PM
ITT, truth. Lescott sucks, I don't care how much he cost.
8/23/2010 9:57:25 PM
wait 'til Boateng and Kolarov are healthy before you judge the back four
8/23/2010 9:57:52 PM
I'm just judging what I've seen...
8/23/2010 9:59:02 PM
hahaha I just found out why Boateng isn't playing
8/23/2010 10:03:01 PM
city have looked like shit to me. they've been really lucky just to get any points so far this season. definitely not one of the top teams so far. they will have to improve a lotjoe hart single-handedly got them a point at tottenham. they got lucky today that liverpool played so badly, and they capitalized on all their chances. they deserved the win, but most of the time i think liverpool would play better. if mancini keeps running out there with this italian-style, 3 defensive mid, counter-attack bullshit, he will finish outside the top 4. they're basically playing without a striker by having tevez alone up there. it's a bizarre formation and there is way too much talent on the bench to keep playing like that and having a harmonious locker room.

8/23/2010 10:13:17 PM
haha a little but i more hate the way mancini plays. i never liked man city and i hate his style of play

I expect Mancini to put two strikers up front once Balotelli returns.[Edited on August 23, 2010 at 10:26 PM. Reason : ^true, it could be a different match at Anfield if Torres is fully fit]
8/23/2010 10:24:03 PM
David Silva did a hell of a job of watching the game today.
8/23/2010 10:25:17 PM
i dunno why he doesn't play adebayor though. he's a proven 20-30 goal scorer in the epl. balotelli is all potential
8/23/2010 10:28:09 PM
City might be thinking Balotelli is gonna stay more than one season. I wouldn't count on it.
8/23/2010 10:37:18 PM
wut
8/23/2010 10:49:56 PM
Balotelli looked as good as Adebayor when he played in Serie A, and Adebayor is threatening to leave now because of his minimal playing time. Mancini didn't seem too concerned about Adebayor leaving when he targeted Balotelli. Apparently Mancini either thinks Balotelli is developing his skills so quickly that he will outperform Adebayor this season or Balotelli will be better than Adebayor in a few years and will still be playing at Eastlands then (and he'll still be coaching at City).[Edited on August 23, 2010 at 11:31 PM. I'll sing about the Gunners, the lads in red and white Actually, I'm CTID unless they get caught in a match-fixing scandal or something equally shady.[Edited on August 24, 2010 at 1:26 AM. Reason : or I'm not happy with the team after Tevez leaves LOL]
8/24/2010 1:17:19 AM
thank goodness for this Indian cable service i have. i saw at least bits and pieces of 6 games this weekend...a few things from yesterday1. liverpool looks like a tasl team2. yaya is a beast3. SAF looked scared in the bleachers
8/24/2010 3:53:18 AM
8/24/2010 7:37:44 AM
CTID = City 'Til I Die. This is (possibly) sarcasm, but I like that City now has two fast and relentless workaholics on the pitch I can admire: Tevez and Milner.
8/24/2010 7:44:44 AM
yeah I get it, didn't you just decide to be a City fan a month ago?
8/24/2010 8:12:57 AM
get em
8/24/2010 6:07:37 PM
I liked MCFC for much of last season but had a split allegiance to Arsenal and MCFC until June. I still like Arsenal, although I suppose you can't support two teams equally when they're battling for a top spot. I'll wish the best for Arsenal until they play City or a spot for City on the table is clearly on the line. "CTID" was pretty much tongue in cheek. My support for City is mainly due to Tevez's presence there.[Edited on August 24, 2010 at 7:53 PM. Reason : The King's English]
