its a good thing kobe can piggy back off of bynum in games like this
5/17/2010 10:50:59 PM
+7.5Bryant:-1 turnover-0.5 missed open shot+1 drawing foul+7 end of thirdunless kobe stinks up the 4th, this is a great game for him. not going to go back and look, but i would say gasol probably has less negative plays and does more to create for others. Kobe's plays are mostly all in isolation+1 3-1 heat check+1 he's on firewhat the hell did shannon brown just try to do[Edited on May 17, 2010 at 11:07 PM. Reason : .]

the suns are the softest team in the playoffs. yes that includes the hawks.
5/17/2010 11:09:19 PM
Welp, so much for this series being competitive.
5/17/2010 11:19:21 PM
^There's still 6 more games (I hope).
5/17/2010 11:28:39 PM
god damn kobe is shooting over 50%, I never thought I'd see that again

Lakers in 5.
5/18/2010 12:03:53 AM
I don't want Magic-Lakers again but I don't think there's anything we can do about that...fuck.It's getting to a point where I actually want Lebron to go to whatever team he'd have the best shot of beating the Lakers, thus turning the league entirely into Lebron vs. Kobe, year after year.
5/18/2010 12:46:51 AM
What part of Game 1 of the Magic/Celtics series leads you to believe theres no way we won't have a Lakers/Magic finals

draft lottery tonightwhat kind of odds would you give me on the Knicks getting the 1st pick?
5/18/2010 11:24:09 AM
There is no such thing as a kobe-stopper.
5/18/2010 11:34:35 AM
Did you guys see John wall at the LA game last night?[Edited on May 18, 2010 at 11:36 AM. Reason : baller to get tickets for conference finals]
5/18/2010 11:35:56 AM
Gasol is the best Laker and the Lakers wouldnt be in the playoffs without him? That has to be a joke. The guy never won a damn playoff game until he got to LA. And before the whole "he was on the Grizzlies" arguement is brought up, inbetween Shaq and Gasol the Lakers had Kobe, Lamar, and gd Kwame Brown was the 3rd best player on that roster.
5/18/2010 11:36:23 AM
Thank you still rolling. At least there are a few people on tww who have brains.
5/18/2010 11:40:46 AM
Damn these playoffs are getting boring as hell. Blowouts every night it seems or at least one team with a double digit lead in the 4th quarter. First round was great, 2nd round was meh, so far conference finals have been meh as well. Hopefully the Magic-Celtics series will turn out to be a great series.

Last night was a little disappointing, but not surprising. Suns still have a good chance for two reasons:1) The Lakers played probably their best game of the playoffs last night. EVERYONE was hitting shots. The Suns defense wasn't great, but it also wasn't bad. The Lakers shot 58%...they won't do that again.2) Phoenix played probably their worst game of the playoffs. Frye and Dudley couldn't hit anything, and only Dragic had a decent contribution from the best bench in the playoffs.Neither team will continue to play at those levels. It was good to see Lopez have a solid contribution. And LA will dominate down low no matter what, but Amare has to have more than 3 rebounds. That is absolutely ridiculous. The Suns won't be done if they don't win the next one in LA....but it will be close.

^I'm just saying that the Lakers made everything they threw up. And it looked to me like the Suns gave up midway through the 3rd quarter. The Suns ran into a buzz saw last night. They Lakers would have dropped 110+ on anyone in the league shooting like that.
5/18/2010 2:02:22 PM
Yes Jbrick. Its over. The Suns have the Lakers Right where they want them.
5/18/2010 2:20:24 PM
Hey don't shit on his parade yet. While the Lakers are going to win this series, its not over yet, unlike the Boston series.]
5/18/2010 2:21:47 PM
Oh tree twister I beg to differ. Its over. It is SO over. I am licking my chops at the thought of the playing the Celtics in the finals. Sweet sweet vengeance for Sir Kobe and LA.
5/18/2010 2:25:58 PM
I think its gonna be Lakers/Celtics in the finalsI'm simply saying the Lakers did what they were supposed to do and won game 1 on their homecourt. If they win game 2 and go up 2-0, then the Lakers did what they were supposed to. Until the Lakers steal a game in Phoenix, the series is on pace to go to 7 gamesIn the East however, Orlando has already lost their homecourt advantage, and I wouldn't be surprised if Boston goes up 2-0 after tonight. Imo that series is 'even more over' than the West series
5/18/2010 2:35:55 PM
Phil Jackson teams are 45-0 in the playoffs when winning game 1. Cue the "Wrap It Up" box.
5/18/2010 3:01:08 PM
^Did you not see the results of the Bruins game (different sport, I know)? Anything is possible mang, just watch it unfold and stop being so friggin' pessimistic.

5/18/2010 8:22:30 PM

5/18/2010 8:28:19 PM
Looks as if the referees want to make their presence known.. what a bunch of bullshit
5/18/2010 9:39:52 PM
haha Howard smacked Pierce in the face, yet Orlando fans don't know how it is even a foul (let alone a flagrant, which it was)[Edited on May 18, 2010 at 9:45 PM. Reason : Pierce just keeps tickling the twine from long range]
5/18/2010 9:40:07 PM
Orlando fans are retarded
5/18/2010 9:45:41 PM
redick is balling
5/18/2010 9:47:15 PM
Howard is probably the most immature player in the NBA
5/18/2010 9:49:44 PM
I'm not really sure why they don't call that a travel in the NBA, same thing happened with Kobe last night in the 1st qtr.
5/18/2010 9:53:06 PM
does it seem like orlando is getting everything called on them?
5/18/2010 9:54:07 PM
when Howard complains about every call, it probably hurts how his teammates do or don't get foul calls...if I was a ref I wouldn't like a player as offensively impotent as Howard complaining about literally every call I made against him]
5/18/2010 9:55:10 PM
I hate Pierce's voice.
