11/4/2008 10:12:45 AM
He's also an Arab. I can't even see that at work, but let me guess, random interview with crazy person on the street?
11/4/2008 10:14:14 AM
^^ some people should just not do interviewsand Obama will not be writing the check - we will. I got 10 to 1 that bitch got a sub prime with a 300/month intro payment

^^ McCain offered a plan to buy up mortgages in default and in risk of default. Obama and Biden want courts to have authority to force compromise settlements by "resetting" the principal. In either way the US consumer and Taxpayer will be absorbing the brunt of the cost- although it is much less directly out of your pockets in the Obama/Biden plan. Also, as far as "paying for your gas" that's closer to McCain's position than Obamas. McCain was in favor for the moratorium on federal gas tax. Since the proposal contained nothing about reduced spending and the reduction of gas costs would be minuscule for the average consumer, the lost funds would still have to made up by the taxpayer eventually. Not sure why people (Obama supporters AND McCain supporters) are saying he's said the government would pay your mortgage and gas for you. The deluded ignorant people like the interviewee above on the Obama side think they'll get free gas and their mortgage paid while the wackjob red-baiters on the McCain side go rabid over a fun new socialist strawman they can fool themselves into using. It's really fucking sad. The Obama supporters saying this are ingorant of the fact that McCain's policies are slightly closer to the imaginary proposals they claim are part of Obama's platform. The McCain supporters who believe it talk about how incredibly stupid and expensive it is, all the while ignorant of the same fact. Yes, I realize that overall these mirror-image idiots are a minority for both sides. It's just sad that they manage to get behind keyboards and cameras as much as they do. Next think you know they'll interview Obama supporters lauding his military service and McCain supporters talking about his amazing fund raising and organizing efforts.

^^ there are retarded bitches in every race that have too many kids and can't afford it. i don't know that i would want some uneducated retarded whore speaking on my behalf
11/4/2008 10:41:36 AM
Sadly, the media latches on to these retards like the rigored corpse of a body builder latches on to the free-weights he was jogging with when struck dead by a stroke.
11/4/2008 10:51:30 AM
I have to have money in my pocket before i can absorb anything.
11/4/2008 10:51:59 AM
I wonder how McCain is taking the loss. This nothing compared to what he's been through. But it isn't easy either. God Bless John McCain!
11/5/2008 5:20:58 PM
Maybe i misread McCain, but I think he is taking it very well. Him and Obama are both intelligent people, and I think they have a genuine mutual respect.

http://www.newsweek.com/id/167581/page/1Here's an article that seems to dig deeper into the relationship between Palin and the campaign, and it doesn't paint a good picture, as many people have suspected.

Good post, thank youas for the f-bomb....whatever they are human beings. im surprised to learn hillary and mccain are so close, but then again mccain is such a likeable cat and has been in washington forever
11/5/2008 8:12:44 PM
Yeah, I like McCain. He was obviously too old and too disorganized to be President, but he's a good dude and all the hate directed at him during the campaign was a bit excessive. Hopefully he can get back to his roots and contribute in the Senate like Barry Goldwater did after he got spanked.

Fox News, of all places, has more:
11/6/2008 12:52:58 AM
Didn't Fox News have a journalistic responsibility to report information like this BEFORE the election? I mean, this woman could have been the VP...
11/6/2008 12:58:08 AM
^ no, the reporters were allowed to be around on conditions of embargo.
11/6/2008 12:59:02 AM
i can only wish mccain the best. i hope he puts palin out of work forever, though.
11/6/2008 1:00:09 AM
Ya know as much as I did not like McCain, at least he gave a sincere and graceful consession speech...I'm guessing most his followers didn't listen.

one gracious concession speech does not make up for the dishonorable campaign the old navy flier oversaw.good riddance.
