Yeah, Bryant, JCo, and Brees gave me the edge today.

Chargers D would've been a huge lift if they hadn't backed off in the 4th quarter. Since they didn't pick up any sacks and only two INTs, they ended up not giving me as many points as the Seahawks (who were on my bench).

All in all, though, I'm pretty happy with how this team has performed the first two weeks, considering I thought I was fucked when I missed the draft.

looks like those points were in garbage time. I suppose houston will see a lot of that...

^Yeah, basically all in the 4th. But he still hasn't thrown any INTs this year.

And yeah, considering how shitty the Texans are, they're going to see a lot of garbage time.

LOLZ.

ok, so I read the point totals wrong.

I was up by 23, not 13.

I am now up 11 with him having Willie Parker and me having Leftwich.

Byron's got to throw for 150 and a score, with ~30 yds rushing.

if he goes ~18/36, that would give me 15 points, and he would need 26 points from Fast Willie.

I dont see it happening.

Holy hell I'm dominating in all 4 leagues.

Most dominant performance is in my main 14 team league even without playing my first 2 picks (S Smith and L Jordan).

Starters:
P. Rivers
D. Jackson
J. Cotchery
B. Edwards
F. Gore
W. Dunn

A. Vinatieri

San Diego

most scored touchdowns, they all got tons of yards. Oh and in my league recievers and running backs get bonus points for 100 yard games, which ALL 5 OF MINE GOT!!

So I'm currently leading 147-89. If SD would have held the shutout I would have had 160!

So unless Hines Ward has like 300 yards and 4 touchdowns tomorrow, I think I have it wrapped up.

FANTASY UPDATE

T. Owens breaks his Finger and is expected to miss 2-4 weeks.

This automatically makes the value of all other skill positions increase. (RB, WR, and especially Witten @ TE)

Hold on to Witten or Glenn if you have them (you didnt need me to tell you that about glenn, especially after tonight.

On a side note, I'm really worried about tomorrow's game. If Willie Parker doesn't do well and Heath Miller catches 6 touchdowns, I lose.

I just picked up P. Crayton for K. Rob even though I probably won't use him with Housh, Bennett and Toomer and only 2 WR spots...maybe someone will wanna trade for him...but Julius Jones as my backup RB looks a whole lot better now...

P crayton for K Rob is dubious.

Next week is bye for dallas, so TO might be back before crayton even gets to play. K rob will probably become a long term starter for GB, assuming he doesnt hit the bottle too hard. OTOH, Dallas' game in week 4 is against Tenn.

I give Pennington or Dunn and Welker for Hines Ward and Deangelo williams?

It looks like Droughns got you the 10 points you were looking for, rflong.

32 yards rushing, 1 TD, and 3 rec for 30 yards.

~12 points. Could have been worse.

Oh and BTW, Phil LOLlins, Chris Brown would have gotten 0.9 points. LOL. Nice Advice.

Just dropped the auto-drafted Ronald Curry and Mewelde Moore and picked up Troy Brown and Michael Turner.

I REALLY need Steve Smith to come back!

Bush for Burress

Accept or Reject?

I'm thinking accept but my RB's (Bush, Parker, Thomas Jones, T. Henry, D. Williams) get weaker without Bush unless DeAngelo ends up startin in Carolina or Travis Henry ends up startin in TEN.

My WR's need some help (S. Smith, D. Jackson, E. Kennison, and Reggie Williams). 3 can start...

accepted. now i just hope the league members vote against it.

starting WR's of Jackson, Burress and Steve Smith should put up big points for me but my RBs are pretty weak until D.Williams/T. Henry get a starting nod.

I only have Dunn and Parker at RB. Other guy has shitty QBs. Should I trade him pennington for stephen jackson?

I'm thinking about this for buy week purposes. Otherwise, I only use 2 RBs and use a receiver in the flex spot. Other QBs are Warner and Favre.

I also can get m turner, but SD is playing against Pitt and Chicago when I want to play him, so I don't think he will get any burn (hopefully LT gets injured!),

yessss pennington is pass heavy this year, but RBs GOOD RBs are hard to obtain, theres QB choices each week that look good and as long as u dont have Peyton, the QB points arent THAT important anyways.

My sense is that Eli is not an elite fantasy QB, yet, that's why people passed on him. The game yesterday was an aberration (really, the second half of the game).

I'm tied against my matchup and he doesn't have anyone playing tonight. I have the Jacksonville defense and all I need is an int, sack, fumble recovery, or blocked kick to win but they're not helping me out!!

In the real world, they're playing great defense.

My real teams went 0-2 AGAIN and my fantasy ones went 2-2 AGAIN. I expected better from both AGAIN.

Facetious Ferrets 2-0 (107-96)
Unstable Isotopes 1-1 (60-44)
Tropically Depressed 1-1 (213.88-222.74)
Ravaging Storms 0-2 (82-83)

I have been a heavy underdog both times and have won big both times. Cotchery = sleeper pick of the season, so far

Also, i think it works out better if you are later in the draft. If you draft first, you get last year's big names and dont pick again for a looooong time. The people near the end get good shots back to back at good players. Thus, if one guy sucks, you still have a comparable second pick.

Also, it might be the case that the teams that were good last year frequently regress while the others improve. This would make sense considering the weaker teams have drafted good players who could improve them.

In my opinion, jmpack15, I would start the following.

RB

Willie Parker - The Steelers wil rededicate themselves to the run after completely abandoning it in last nights loss to the Jaguars. Cincy is hurting up from on the defensive side, so his quickness should get you some good totals.

Thomas Jones - The Vikings secondary is better than their front line, and I dont see grossman passing for another 4 TD's in this one. Suprisingly enough, this could be a grind it out game, with thomas jones getting about 80 yards and a score.

I would not play Deangelo in this one for a few reasons. 1st, Coach Fox announced today that Foster is still the starter, and he will alternate series as he sees fit. Always go with bonified starters (Parker and Jones) over platoon backs. 2nd, this is going to be a battle of 0-2 teams with the loser being last place in a tough ass division. With that said, I expect Tampa to bring thier A-game on Sunday and make it tough for "our" backs to do alot of damage.

Jones and Parker would be my starters.

Ok. sit/start on my waiver wire receiving corp:

J. Cotchery v Buf
A. Toomer v Sea
B. Berrian v Minn
W. Welker v Tenn
M. Colston v Atl
D. Gabriel v Den

I say cotch, toomer, berrian, and colston.

Welker is interesting because it's vs Tenn, but miami might get the lead and run a lot. I thought ATL might be a bad matchup for colston, but it looks like Simms passed for $texas yards against ATL. I gotta believe that Brees will do the same.
