neon lights is pretty kool... for ricers on two wheels, just add a spoiler and they'd be all set
9/6/2005 2:13:46 PM
I PUT LAMBORHINI DOORS ON THAT GSX
9/6/2005 2:15:02 PM
would be kinda interesting to see lambo kit for the side farings so you can have easy access to the engine compartment... but then again, they are only held down with 5-6 bolts
9/6/2005 2:16:28 PM
This would make that bike kick so much more ass:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Pair-of-NOS-stickers-racing-hotrod_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ80736QQitemZ4572403551QQrdZ1
9/6/2005 2:19:57 PM
i kinda like neons on nice looking street bikes. i mean, it's not like they don't have the performance to back the looks up. i plan on putting a yellow set on mine.
9/6/2005 3:29:53 PM
ive got that rice shit on my bike except it's bue LED and not neon. and my drunk roommate upgraded it with some 20+hp stickers last night. i'll be pimpin tomorra
9/6/2005 11:15:25 PM

it runs just fine no problems there.. just cosmetically let's say it's not going to win any shows any time soon haha, but it's a good starter bike because of that fact.
9/12/2005 12:28:26 AM

I've been down in New Orleans for the past 30 days and have made a good chunk of change from working 12 hrs a day for 30 days straight under an Army Corps project. I'm really interested in buying a Yamaha Road Star Warrior. Anyone have any input on it. I think the 2003 with decent mileage will fit my budget. Anything to look out for?
10/11/2005 7:30:34 PM
I'LL GIVE YOU MOTORCYCLE TIPS IF YOU TELL ME HOW YOU GOT DET JOB
10/11/2005 11:33:30 PM

10/14/2005 1:18:24 AM

10/14/2005 1:28:29 PM

1988 Honda Hawk GT:F2 front-end swap, ss braided brake lines front and rear, aftermarket fork springs, aftermarket rear shock and spring w/remote reservoir, Supertrapp exhaust, K&N filter, timing advancer, lower clip-ons (F4i style - possibly same), Two Bros. rear-set relocators, removed center stand, removed passenger footpegs.... has new light switch assembly, new Metzler MEZ4 160mm rear tire... needs clutch installed (I have a kit, Barnett), one horn has stopped working (probably want to remove those massive things anyway)... other than that, its perfect in my book$2800 pm me[Edited on October 16, 2005 at 11:19 PM. Reason : duh]
10/16/2005 11:06:33 PM
that bike is almost 20 years old
10/16/2005 11:34:35 PM
yeah, so
10/16/2005 11:40:43 PM
so you're asking at least 1k too much. hawks lost any market value they had a few years ago when the look came back and the latest round of naked bikes came out. why would someone pay 2800 for that when you could pick up a 2-4 year old sv650 or similar bike for the same?
10/17/2005 12:20:06 AM
*heavy sigh*
10/17/2005 12:29:20 AM
if you can back up your asking price with some reasoning of why it's worth that, go for it. i'm not seeing it. it's your bike though, i guess you can ask what you want. i just wouldn't expect it to sell anywhere near that, especially with winter coming up. maybe you're extremely negotiable? i hate to see that prices have been driven up so much in the past couple of years, especially on 10+ year old entry level bikes.
10/17/2005 12:37:29 AM
^^ Don't let it bother you too much. He did the same thing to my Lincoln Town Car thread. You know, back before TWW, when you placed an ad in the paper, people didn't call you and bother you about your price. If they didn't like it, they moved on to the next ad.Speaking of which, I appearantly have a really overpriced Lincoln Town Car I wouldn't mind trading for your bike.
10/17/2005 12:40:13 AM
yeah nice hawk "collectors item" whatever i dont buy that crap i think it is overpriced too. specially on tww seriously.
10/17/2005 1:05:52 AM
yeah hawks can be picked up under 2 grand these days, especially the ex-race bikes. Hurley's looks very clean and already has a lot of popular mods done to it tho. also hawk is a cult bike and some people will pay good money for it. maybe not 2800, but it is defenitely NOT your average "20 year old bike". you really need to ride it before you can really appreciate the thing. i can count on my fingers the few bikes i would pick over a lil old hawk, and most of them would be in a $8k+range. the best bet for you to sell it is to put it on the hawkgt.com, someone will snatch it up. it is unlikely to be sold for any kind of decent money on the tdub. i'd buy it, but im planning a few fun trips this winter and i will need my cash.[Edited on October 17, 2005 at 2:01 AM. Reason : oh yeah and sv's might be faster but they still don't compare]
10/17/2005 1:58:11 AM
damn that bike looks nice, but yeah 2800 is highi wanted a naked too and i got a 2005 with 800 miles for 5k yours is 2 decades older.....
10/17/2005 2:21:07 AM
the hawk does look a lot better than ur newer bike.. sorry
10/17/2005 3:32:08 AM
That hawk is awesome.
