Whats the most tables any of you have played at once online? My max was 1/2 limit on 8 tables.
2/17/2007 12:20:18 AM
i was in a hand with [user]toemoss#### and 3 others in a home cash game. i was small blind and limped in. toemoss was BB and he checked. i had 7/10. flop comes 6/8/9. i check. toemoss bets big, one caller, i push all in. toemoss calls with pocket 6's.he says simply "pair the board" and it did right away. 9 on the turn.crushed me. i was so sad.

My max is 8. I could probably do 10, but then they start popping in front of one another and it sucks.

Honestly, I think it was a good play. Play to win. While you can never know for sure what your opponent would do, I doubt that most rational players will reraise like that with AA. I'd say most likely he has QQ or something along those lines. I'm probably giving him too much credit, but odds are you're in a coinflip here.
2/18/2007 12:26:26 PM
so has anyone tried epassporte for stars? i searched the last few pages but didn't find anything
2/18/2007 3:45:37 PM
You can't really tell without knowing that guy. Was he playing good cards or just playing loose? If he reraised that much and was a loose player, I'd put him on mid-pocket pair. If he were tight, I would worry about Kings or aces.

so what was the outcome of the hand?
2/18/2007 9:32:10 PM
in theory, the outcome should be inconsequential, due to not getting caught up in short term results.in reality, he had QQ and i lost, busting 37th.
2/18/2007 9:40:49 PM
Sit-n-go, went heads up with a weak player, he was folding way too many hands in the small blind. I kept raising 2/3 of the hands, but he liked to move in occasionally when I limped. Figured he thought I had rags, which was true, but all I needed was one good hand to bust him.He outdrew my limp/call AK on his all-in Q4, then there was this gem... I know the outcome doesn't matter. Eddie and I debated about it and he was curious. Depending if I thought he was a tight player, I think I would have waited until another spot. If he was someone I had decided was bulling I probably would have pushed. If this guy played a lot of hands, I would have pushed. If my table image was one of a tight ass and I deemed I had extra fold equity, I would have pushed. Then again, I don't really play that much poker anymore that I got a job. I miss it

2/19/2007 3:03:15 PM
I feel like im missing out.meh.I just wish they'd spread reasonable middle limit omaha games occasionally live.If anywhere in AC could get a 15/30->30/60 lo8 or 2/5 -> 5/10 plo8 game going on a regular basis, id be exuberant.instead, it's 2/4, the occasional 10/20 two way lo8/7cs8 1/2 kill o8 game, with the enxt step up being when they get the 100/200 lo8 going.plo/plo8 is never ever.occasionally a 75/150 two way, or a 40/80 or 80/160 H.O. game gets going, but thats in the clouds, as well as high only (usually played with a rock too)
