OK QB is choosing between Cuse and State. http://newsok.com/article/3779841[Edited on April 4, 2013 at 8:54 PM. Reason : x]

Hmmm, interesting. Looks like he could only play for a year. Doesn't make much sense at first, unless DD and staff have zero faith in Pete Thomas and Manny Stocker. This guy would give us a bridge to Brissett next year.
4/5/2013 7:26:41 AM
6'5" - 225 lbs. 3* recruit in the c/o 2009. Looks to be another pro-style QBSyracuse lean, but he hasn't visited NCSU yet...

http://www.highschoolot.com/hillside-s-mccain-commits-to-virginia-tech/12316406/he had an offer from nc state
4/8/2013 11:16:05 AM
Not sure if these are schollies or walk-ons? I assume the latter, but the article doesn't say.
4/9/2013 5:09:44 PM
Definitely gotta be walk-ons. 3-star TE Lucas Wilson is a steal
4/10/2013 9:17:36 AM
and the QB Taylor put up some big numbers in New Bern
4/10/2013 9:24:22 AM
Let's just field 11 QBs and see who survives.
4/10/2013 12:23:21 PM
Sounds like Kentavius Street is having a good time. Spent much of yesterday's practice talking to Mario, which is a great strategy by Dorean, then commented this was his best visit yet on social media. He would be such a huge get for this new staff.
4/20/2013 11:10:24 AM
Tight End Garrett Bradbury just committed, he's a teammate of Bo Hines:http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncstate/football/recruiting/player-Garrett-Bradbury-151224;_ylt=AiQNa5zKfBhSSnA9JJMMlD09s5B4

In-state, good size, i'll take it

The new staff definitely seems to be making more of an effort to recruit around Charlotte, the old staff had pretty much ceded it to UNC and Clemson.[Edited on April 20, 2013 at 8:48 PM. Reason : .]
4/20/2013 8:42:23 PM
They ceded most of nc
4/20/2013 8:48:51 PM
This year we had 10 commits from NC. in 2012 we had 7 NCians. 2011 we had 8. 2010 we had 5.[Edited on April 21, 2013 at 6:17 PM. Reason : ]
4/21/2013 5:51:53 PM
Exactly
4/21/2013 5:58:13 PM
UNC got 7, 6, 13, & 7 during those years, respectively. They averaged 8.3 from NC. We averaged 7.5.
4/21/2013 6:20:38 PM
We should compare ourselves to UNCSeriously though, they've done a poor job of in-state recruiting as well[Edited on April 21, 2013 at 6:33 PM. Reason : H]
4/21/2013 6:31:32 PM
also, we went 4-1 vs UNC in that period.
4/21/2013 6:33:48 PM
More well known information that has nothing to do with the fact that TOB did a shitty job of in-state recruitingDoeren seems to get it
4/21/2013 6:35:31 PM
I don't exactly know which players are the good ones, but unc definitely has bad better talent the past few years, the draft has told us that. Just because we have gotten players and beat them doesn't mean shit, we could certainly use better players and more from this state. But that all is obvious
4/21/2013 6:40:44 PM
^^yes i know, but people were pointing out stupid things, so i thought i would join in.honestly the in state players we need to be trying to get are the ones going to Clemson, Notre Dame and the SEC.
4/21/2013 6:47:00 PM
4/21/2013 8:59:17 PM
BADBETTERTAKENT
4/21/2013 9:09:34 PM
^^ I mean if all that matters is beating UNC.. Then that shits sad. I'd much rather be 9-3 with a L to them than 8-4 with a win^ and I didn't misspell talent? [Edited on April 21, 2013 at 9:57 PM. Reason : ~]
4/21/2013 9:56:43 PM
i want to beat them and be 9-3and kids in the Gobe want a slip and slideas long as we compete and don't look like morons this season, everythin else will just be gravy.
4/21/2013 10:44:31 PM
4/22/2013 8:49:55 AM
Hopefully, Doeren = BALLER
4/22/2013 10:16:01 AM
^^people always make the comment that Amato screwed us in NC recruitingI'm not trolling, just ignorant. Can someone explain how he did that? Was it cause he was more interested in recruiting the rest of the southeast than in NC?
4/22/2013 12:34:56 PM
^ I am not expert on the subject, but my general understanding is that Amato pretty much just turned off many the high school coaches with his attitude and blatant love for recruting FL over NC. I am sure someone else can elaborate on this further with examples.
4/22/2013 1:57:21 PM
Took the lead on #8 DE
4/22/2013 9:27:55 PM
Did we make the top four for RB Derrell Scott as mentioned on the front page of The Wolfpacker?
4/23/2013 1:32:32 PM
^negative, it was Ohio State, Florida State, South Carolina and Notre Dame. He said that list wasn't set in stone though, so we could potentially make up ground.

You can add former Arkansas QB Brandon Mitchell to that as well. He is considering transferring to NC State, USF and UAB.[Edited on May 8, 2013 at 1:10 PM. Reason : ]
