testified in whose defense? i might have to read this after all.

this is very interesting to me. a friend of mine from high school was accused a few years ago of murdering his wife, and we are possibly about to embark on his FOURTH trial. I've become very "involved" in the case for several reasons, one of which being it has been one of the most interesting cases/sagas ever.

A few nights before Nancy's murder there was an attempted break-in a few streets over from the Coopers. The police never investigated if there was a connection between the two events, and the prosecution called the attempted break-in a prank by neighborhood kids on a teenage boy.

Turns out the teenage boy has severe brain damage from a car accident.

The kicker is that the father reported seeing a van speed off when he went outside to see what was going on. Some witnesses reported seeing a similar looking van the morning Nancy was murdered.

That deposition video was the biggest bunch of bullshit.. Boz was warned multiple times not to play that section but somehow it "skips" even though he was playing it off his computer. Not to mention how wasn't the entire thing a violation of Coopers rights? It's bad when the defense attorney has to make a shorthand hand motion for when he wants to object because it happened so often.

Its one of the bigger things we've been pushing for in the case...that after countless warnings it was still played. There were other things like that such as the cell phone records and stuff that were allowed by the Judge for the prosecution but not for the defense.

And yes the van was seen a few nights before and the break-in stuff was about a week or so before.

The kids thing was a ploy by the prosecution saying the break in attempt was a prank on the neighborhood kid.

thats when the defense brought up the fact the child was brain damaged and that no one had pranked them before...thus leading you to think it was indeed a break in attempt.
