I think Jordan's Bull Dynasty is better. Chicago Bulls is founded 20 years later than Warriors and had never won one championship before Jordan arrived. This freak single-handed(almost) brought 6 champs to the city in 8 years. If he didn't take a break, 2 more was expected.Jordan is still the GOAT in this sport. And I can't see anyone is gonna steal this title in the next decade.
6/14/2019 11:30:29 AM
Had the Ws pulled it off, I would've said it was up for debate. I'm not a huge fan of Jordan as a person, but his legacy seems pretty untouchable.
6/14/2019 11:48:51 AM
KD is almost there actually:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_career_achievements_by_Kevin_Durant
6/14/2019 11:53:25 AM
With Klay done for most of next season, I say the Ws tank to preserve Steph's health.

Kinda wild that way too early odds have GSW favored in 2020. Granted, there’s so many unknowns with injuries and free agency and the draft, it’s silly to put much stock in what those odds are at this point. No team is the clear cut favorite at this point.
6/14/2019 12:09:35 PM
Chris Paul is absolutely one of the best point guards ever
6/14/2019 12:15:29 PM
Those odds are dumb. I think a 4 seed next season would be a miracle. 6-8 seems about right.
6/14/2019 12:21:00 PM
Michael Jordan did not singlehandedly win 6 championships. He won all of them with another Hall of Famer and half of them with a 3rd one. Those were legitimate superteams.
6/14/2019 1:17:18 PM
But he was portraited as a super hero throughout his career. It could be my misunderstanding.
6/14/2019 1:20:59 PM
In 94-95, Jordan didn't even MAKE the Finals
6/14/2019 1:22:44 PM
And he’s now arguably one of the worst NBA owners of all time
6/14/2019 1:45:26 PM
He is already one of the all-time worst GMs
6/14/2019 2:11:31 PM
6/14/2019 2:45:45 PM
BTW, Chinese culture always looks for heroes, as what happened in China like this:People appreciated him b/c he brought three champs to Beijing.
6/14/2019 2:47:45 PM
^^ The Raptors didn't whip the Ws ass, but OK. And yeah I'm aware that teams change from year to year, and when you think about it, it actually makes the Ws 5 year run all that more impressive. I don't think CP3 is anywhere close to a top 10 PG, but he's probably top 20-25 all time. I'm sorry you're such a huge fan of him, because he's a nut-punching tool, but it's OK to idolize whatever players we want. The ones I do have actually won titles, but you do you boo [Edited on June 14, 2019 at 3:48 PM. Reason : also, good luck getting out of that horrible contract]
6/14/2019 3:47:34 PM
I forgot that titles are the most important characteristic when defining who is the best player at a certain position. Clearly John Paxson with his 3 NBA titles is a better point guard than titleless Chris Paul and is on the same tier as Steph Curry.
6/14/2019 4:20:55 PM
^^So condescending, fun. I don't idolize anyone, I root for Paul bc he's on my team, I wouldn't if he wasn't. But I considered him a top 10 pg BEFORE he came to Rockets, and he has added to that. I'd love you to list off 20 better pgs. Meanwhile Klay is a really good player, but was he ever more than the 3rd best/most important for a championship?[Edited on June 14, 2019 at 4:21 PM. 6/14/2019 4:21:03 PM
Raptors' president pushed a deputy during a celebration.ALERT THE PRESS! ALL ASSOCIATED WITH THE RAPTORS ARE ASSHOLES!
6/14/2019 5:06:25 PM
Good to know some people get charges when they push someone they shouldn't
6/14/2019 5:51:24 PM
If muh Dubs wouldn't have squeaked out a 1 point win in Game 5, I'm pretty sure this series would definitely qualify as an ass whooping
6/14/2019 5:54:04 PM
I don’t think dude could name 10 PGs without googling, and he’s claiming Paul is 20-25 all time
6/14/2019 6:51:55 PM
fwiw, I could easily name 10 arguably better PGs than CP3. There is a reason people often say top-10 and not top-5. He has a pure point guard skill set, but he hadn't even gotten past the 2nd round of the playoffs until he got to Houston, iirc, and he was the floor general on some pretty talented Clippers teams. When you're the guy with the ball in your hand the most, you can't lean on the "bad team" excuse as much as other positions. But he's definitely played a lot better in tandem with Harden than I ever thought two ball dominant guards could[Edited on June 15, 2019 at 12:12 AM. Reason : .]
6/15/2019 12:08:35 AM
6/15/2019 1:31:18 AM
I've already placed him in the top 10 in two subsequent posts so....
6/15/2019 1:48:25 AM
but for real, I'd put Magic, Zeke, Stockton, Nash and Kidd above him. If combo guards count, guys like Steph and the Big O are obviously better, but how much of this is based on pure PG skill-set? Lebron is a better player than CP3 but he's a point forward, but Magic kind of is too. Rondo is even crazier than CP3 but he has hardware. Westbrook similarly has issues with things other than stats and production, but personally I'd put him over Paul. Stephen A Smith is a big CP3 Top-5 PG all time proponent, fwiw. He's obviously extremely credible.[Edited on June 15, 2019 at 2:42 AM. Reason : Glove is better too]
6/15/2019 2:25:57 AM
I think you're underrating Paul's defense a little there. How about tiers. I'd say tier 1 is magic, Isiah, O, Steph and Stockton, in whatever order. Tier 2 would fit most of the other guys you mentioned, except rondo, he only even made an all nba team once, and it was a 3rd. And LeBron, nobody has ever called him a pg and he plays with a pg on every team. That tier 2, we could all have long arguments about who goes where, it's all opinion dumb. But UJW said Paul can't even be in that discussion, it's "laughable", which I think is dumb.
6/15/2019 12:25:00 PM
I wouldn't put Steph in that top tier, mainly because he's a defensive sieve. He's one of the greatest shooters in history and an incredible offensive talent, but he's absolutely atrocious on defense.
6/15/2019 3:12:37 PM
I wouldn’t even consider him a true point guard in a traditional sense he’s a natural SG that has been moved to PG out of necessity. Draymond is more of a PG than Curry.[Edited on June 15, 2019 at 4:11 PM. Reason : .]
6/15/2019 4:09:48 PM
He's been a full time point guard since his junior year of college, he's a point guard.
6/15/2019 4:45:33 PM
AD to the Lake Show, RIP muh dubs
6/15/2019 7:32:32 PM
Lol. They gave up A LOT to get a guy they could sign in a year. GG pelicans
6/15/2019 8:12:36 PM
Warriors will be healthy by then. Need to win next year
6/15/2019 8:20:15 PM
Muh dubs will be a shell of their former selves in 2 years. Klay will be fine in 2 years, if he's still a dub, but Iggy will be old as fuck and their payroll will be stretched having to pay Steph, Green and Klay.
6/15/2019 9:19:23 PM
Lakers won the trade
6/16/2019 12:03:43 AM
Prediction: Neither the Lakers nor the Pels win a title.

Bold
6/16/2019 11:01:00 AM
they’re certainly already better than the 2019-20 Warriors
6/16/2019 11:59:00 AM
The current Ws are Curry, Draymond, playoff mode Iggy, and a bunch of G-leaguers. The bar isn’t high.
6/16/2019 11:30:14 PM
yeah, only two All-NBA caliber players, truly something to feel sorry for
6/17/2019 12:36:39 AM
Ugh just read an espn piece about the Rockets front office. Owner sure doesn't inspire confidence
6/17/2019 11:30:32 AM
Pelicans will instantly become a title contender like Cleveland in 2003. This trade paves the way for Zion and his future squad.
6/17/2019 2:07:33 PM
^^ IDK. Rockets probably won't have to worry about muh dubz next season, so why mess with the current roster when the Ws won't be standing in their way? The West is pretty much open, so the Rockets can easily capitalize.
6/17/2019 3:41:08 PM
Please keep trying to take back the phrase "muh dubs"
6/17/2019 3:45:07 PM
^^I'm not necessarily worried about next year, as far as the owner is concerned, more the future of the franchise. Seems like he wants to spend on the big pretty assets that grow the value of the team but wants to nickel and dime the coaches and players.Plus lebron and ad are imposing even if they ran out you, Justin and me at the other 3 spots. And I would bet the Warriors will make the playoffs, and Klay will almost def be ready by late season. Steph, Klay and draymond are a factor. KD, if there, will be the big question mark with the achilles. I think next year's western playoffs will hinge pretty heavily on how many minutes LeBron, Harden and Steph have to play in the regular season. Plus dame I suppose, with a healthy Nurkic[Edited on June 17, 2019 at 4:04 PM. Reason : E]

Lots of bad news surrounding the Raptors after their first world title. Perhaps the NBA should fine and suspend Canadian teams for the first 20 games of the 2019-2020 season.
