I'd say no to that, but it depends on your position. If you are in a spot where you need to win now then you can't hold on to Dez much longer, but with all 3 on a bye then thats not helping you to win anymore right now either.Gurley >>>> GioDez > AlshonThomas >>> Fitz, however Fitz is on a great offense right now while Denver is sputtering.I would reject. Considering this one myself:I get: Matt Ryan, Eddie LacyI give: Josh McCown, Brandin Cooks, Charles ClayIt's .5 ppr as well, my starting RBs/WRs are Forte, Freeman, Marshall and Keenan Allen with Lynch/Steve Smith in the Flex.My starting QB is Russell Wilson and Matt Ryan has TB at home during his bye so it would be a nice filler. I'm currently in first so I can sit on Lacy for a while. I also have Delanie Walker at TE so I'm not too worried about Clay.
10/21/2015 7:59:55 AM
^no brainer trader for sure. A starting QB and a potential RB1 after the bye (hopefully) for two waiver wire guys & a struggling WR2. After the bye, then you can just package a QB with a WR and maybe upgrade to WR1?
10/21/2015 8:22:57 AM
I got a tricky one I'm considering...Get: Mark Ingram, Julius ThomasGive: GronkIt's a PPR league and I have dogshit for RB's (Jeremy Hill, Frank Gore, Shane Vereen). I also have Barnridge as a TE on the bench. The other guy also has AP, Doug Martin and Theo Riddick. I know Ingram could bust at any time, but I'm getting killed at the RB position. What says you T-Dubs?
10/21/2015 1:08:40 PM
Pick one:Matt Ryan vs TennesseeCam Newton vs Philadelphia [Edited on October 21, 2015 at 2:56 PM. Reason : I guess Cam since Ryan has sucked lately and Tennessee appears to have a stout pass-d]
10/21/2015 2:31:37 PM
^Cam^^I wouldnt unless he throws in an rb2 or wr2 in place of thomas. You have Barnidge, why do you need another TE?
10/21/2015 3:00:35 PM
^^^ Offer Gronk for AP straight up.
10/21/2015 4:53:25 PM
Yeah I'd try to get AP if I was giving up Gronk.Generally speaking, I'm not a fan of trading an A-level player for a couple B level players. And even though Julius Thomas got 13 targets and a TD last week, he's still got Blake Bortles throwing it to him, not Peyton[Edited on October 21, 2015 at 5:19 PM. Reason : .]
10/21/2015 5:18:23 PM
Bortles is probably better for throwing to Thomas now. At least his passes can get down the field. Also, I wouldn't trade Gronk straight up for either of those RBs. I'd counter with AP+Thomas. Gronk is worth so damn much it's not funny.
10/21/2015 5:41:58 PM
you overvalue gronk if you think he's worth more than AP. There are plenty of fantasy tight ends producing every week, unlike last year.
10/21/2015 6:30:12 PM
10/21/2015 7:01:19 PM
10/21/2015 10:32:20 PM
^^How many people are in your league if guys like Blount, Lewis, Starks or Rawls are available. Karlos Williams maybe, but thats because he hasn't played in 3 weeks and we have heard no news on his injury.TBH Gore, Vereen and Hill are not terrible in PPR provided you have a solid TE (Gronk) and have a good WR/QB. I would look to pick up someone like Andrews from Tennessee, or Charles Sims, who likely aren't available but potentially could be.
10/22/2015 9:00:40 AM
Yeah I want to be in a league where I can pick up 2 starting rbs a week.
10/22/2015 9:03:20 AM
^^I'm not saying those players in particular but "guys like" them. In a 10 team league there are about 30 rbs taken which means there are guys available with 32 starters and many split carries between 2 guys.
10/22/2015 9:25:43 AM
10/22/2015 9:31:56 AM
yeah, i'm in a 10 team PPR and there are currently 47 RBs rostered.
10/22/2015 9:52:37 AM
They should make a league where you can draft mascots.
10/22/2015 10:40:07 AM
i call dibs on Billy Buffalo, because he went to Bovine University.http://www.buffalobills.com/team/coaches/billy-buffalo/f862860a-3576-4550-a202-4ed3dedc5b80
10/22/2015 10:44:05 AM
I offered Gronk for AP just to see and he declined it. Not much available in the way of RB's though. Thanks for the advice everyone.
10/22/2015 2:37:13 PM
Trade Barnidge for Ingram and Thomas. I really dont believe he is going to continue his success so sell high while you can.
10/22/2015 2:55:28 PM
I like Barnidge, still have him in one league but did move him in another league(have Olsen) in a package deal to upgrade at WR.[Edited on October 22, 2015 at 3:13 PM. Reason : .]
10/22/2015 3:13:07 PM
Intriguing offer that was made to me today:Give: John Brown & Ronnie HillmanGet: Dez Bryant & Darren SprolesMy other WR's are Demaryius, Jordan Matthews & Stefon Diggs. RB's are Foster, Ivory, Shady, & Ryan MathewsI'm inclined to take it...plus I can wait and accept it Sat morning and it would not process until next week (might be a bit of a dick move but he sent the offer).Thoughts? I'm only in it for Dez obv.
10/22/2015 4:07:40 PM
Yeah I like it. John Brown has been good, and has a great matchup this weekend but considering your RBs you aren't losing anything from dropping Hillman, he would never start with your lineup.Only possible reason I would be against it is if you are below .500 or so. Dez might not be up to speed for a few weeks and if you are in a spot where you really have to win the next few then it could be risky, but being able to run a lineup like DT/Dez/Foster/Ivory/Shady sounds pretty promising.
10/22/2015 4:15:32 PM
If you're sitting pretty with a good record, I'd definitely do it. But like you said, I'd wait till Saturday if I could---gives you time to see if Dez is actually active this week (though I highly doubt he will be). Even then, I'd still do it and tough it out with those other WRs.
10/22/2015 4:18:25 PM
I'm 2-4. Really because I've had shit luck with everyone scoring their best weeks against me. My point total every week has been solid.I think I'm gonna wait & take it late tomorrow/early Sat...Hillman is off anyway, so I can't see him giving up Dez just for one week of John Brown (who has a tricky hammy anyway according to today's report).Dez has also already had bye.
10/22/2015 4:38:05 PM
Due to the short week, my Russell or Cam starter question is earlier than usualI believe I will go with Russell based on the matchup but feel free to talk me down from the ledgePhilly D has not really allowed someone to go off on them all year, only one game where a QB posted 300+ yds, never more than a pair of TDsSF on the other hand has allowed 300+ yds four of the six weeks with one 400+ game and twice has allowed 3 TDsIf Russell had realized Jimmy Graham was his teammate before Week 6 of the season, I believe this question would have resolved itself in Russell's favor much earlier (and I say that as a huge Panthers fan)Will also play SEA D over CAR D
10/22/2015 6:56:40 PM
^one reason i'd side with Cam over Wilson is simply because it seems like these Thursday night games can be pretty ugly...not exactly sure what the stats say, but it just seems like most teams are not sharp at all on the short week. that said, i really don't think you can go wrong with RW this week.
10/22/2015 7:07:16 PM
I would also add that I feel that the Seahawks in general are backed up against a wall, they NEED to show they have some championship caliberness to their game - so many blown leadsSo they will either continue that against a division rival OR, what I hope, take it out on them and turn things around

I'm starting Russell confidently tonight.I'd also feel pretty confident starting Cam on Sunday. I think both are solid plays this week.

Serious desperation mode in one league. Not even going to explain the situation.Tavon Austin or roll the dice on Robert Woods as the de facto #1 for Buffalo.
10/23/2015 11:08:00 AM
Austin, I think he's on the verge of breaking out. I have been offered the following trade options:I give up Luck or Rivers + L. Murray (Oakland RB)I receive 3 of the 5 players:J. Randel, John Brown, Shady McCoy, R. Hillman, B. Cooks.I have Fitz so Brown has some reserve value. My roster is:QB - Luck, Rivers, and Bortles (I have been dealing with injuries)RB - L. Murray, M. Ingram, J. ForsettWR - Fitz, T. Benjamin, D. Thomas, VJaxTE - Olsen, D. WalkerThoughts?
10/23/2015 11:29:38 AM
I would not do that trade.
10/23/2015 11:52:49 AM
so no variation of that group?
10/23/2015 11:59:16 AM
Without knowing your full situation, and assuming you are playing with standard rosters (1 qb/2rb/2wr/1flex)..I'd do it. You have no need to hold on to three qbs. Keep Luck, he has more upside then Rivers, and Bortles will be a solid backup. I'd take Shady, Randle, Brown or Cooks. Another WR would be nice to replace VJax as your 4th WR, and Brown or Cooks can fit the bill there. The Arizona offense can definitely support two WRs so it wouldn't be crazy depending on the matchup to play both Fitz and Brown. Cooks has some upside too, hes receiving a decent amount of targets he just isn't doing much with them yet, I could see him having a great end to the season. Shady obviously is a good replacement for Murray and can be an every week starter, there is some injury risk but Murray has had that as well. Randle could potentially remain the top back in Dallas so a lot of upside there as well.IMO it comes down to what do you want on your roster, 3 QBs or an extra RB/WR. I'd take an extra RB/WR any day.^^^^ Austin is probably the highest upside, but Woods should guarantee at least a few points.[Edited on October 23, 2015 at 1:03 PM. Reason : a]
10/23/2015 1:01:40 PM
I purposely stockpiled QBs so I could have something to trade. I have no intention of keeping 3.[Edited on October 23, 2015 at 1:15 PM. Reason : .]
10/23/2015 1:14:56 PM
Yeah I mean your other option is trying to package Murray or Ingram + one of the QBs for an RB1, but I just find QBs are so hard to sell that when I can do so I take advantage of it.
10/23/2015 1:22:32 PM
Need WR help, pick 2John Brown (plays Monday and has hamstring issue), Jordan Matthews, Brandin CooksAvailable free agents include - Tavon Austin, Rueben Randle, Hankerson, Ted Ginn, Jamison Crowder, Michael Floyd (in case I waited to play brown and he doesn't play, I could plug in Floyd) and some other random people
10/23/2015 1:43:57 PM
How shallow is your bench? Pick up Hankerson either way. If brown is looking likely to go it's an awesome match up, and I'd take Matthews over any of the others.
10/23/2015 2:51:35 PM
I have D. Thomas and AJ Green who are both on bye. We also can only roster 5 WRs, so if I pick somebody up I have to drop one. I'm definitely playing Brown if he goes...it's a toss up between Cooks and Matthews, both haven't done much lately
10/23/2015 3:05:42 PM
10/23/2015 3:47:58 PM
Not trying to get even trade value, just improving depth is all I care about.
10/23/2015 4:38:28 PM
I figured Seattle's defense would probably need to get their act together after the past few weeks. So I definitely went for some Redskins D, cause Washington = Seattle.I am dumb.
10/23/2015 7:56:07 PM
You'd have to draft QBs with your first 4 picks before you have enough trade bait to make the strategy work.Even then, the traditional Brees and Manning are not tearing things up more than fucking Blake Bortles.
10/24/2015 3:02:41 AM
Might have worked if he had done RBs with like 5 straight picks
10/24/2015 8:28:49 AM
Charles Sims @ WasMatt Jones v TBAndre Ellington v BalChristine Michael/Joseph Randle @ NYGTevin Coleman @ TenWhich of these scrubs is my rb2 this week. It is full PPR. I think Matt Jones has the highest probability of touches, but Washington has been so bad that might be worthless. Sims has been consistently great in this league (13 pts or more the last three weeks) but I think thats still a little flukey. I'd love to start Randle but that backfield just scares me this week.I'm also a big underdog so I probably need the person with the highest ceiling not floor.
10/24/2015 8:06:27 PM
Randle has the highest ceiling, so there's your answerwould any of you consider starting Brandon LaFell in his first game back? other WR3 options are Steve Smith or John Brown. non-PPR
